Black unemployment at new record low
The black unemployment rate hit an all-time low for the month of October, making it three straight record months of record unemployment among black Americans.

The jobs report, which was released Friday showed unemployment for black Americans at 5.4%, down from 5.5% the previous two months. The overall unemployment is at 3.6%, up from 3.5% in September. Unemployment is still near a 50-year low.

President Trump has touted his policies as the reason for the low black unemployment rate and has used the issue to woo the heavily-leaning Democratic demographic.

He recently used the issue to hit Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris, who is black. ...

Funny, but I thought the trend had started under President Coolidge!
Seriously, though, I think President Trump does not need to spend much time on this issue. Most blacks in the US live in states that are mostly Dems, so getting more of them to vote R will not change that state's overall election. And, since they make up less than 20 percent of the population, any greater percent will be a lesser number. Let's do a little math: 20 percent = one fifth, so that is about 60 million. If voters represent half of that, then you have 30 million. Ten percent would be 3 million. The majority white population, about 200 million, has 100 million voters. Ten percent of them is 10 million, and they are scattered in states that are borderline Dem/Rep. The famous 'independents' are cited as voters who President Trump should be talking to.

Don’t know anything about that show, Jim. I still haven’t caught all the episodes of “Perry Mason” and “Gunsmoke.”

It's been true for over a year the Black unemployment has gone down, a trend started under the Obama Administration.

This is something that economists from across the political spectrum tend to agree about. When I talked to Wilson, she said, “The data and the evidence clearly show that the recovery of employment was well underway before President Trump took office.” And Michael Strain, an economist at the right-leaning American Enterprise Institute, told me last year that continuing existing economic policy could theoretically help groups with historically high rates of joblessness.

Specifically, economists have attributed the dropping unemployment rate to Yellen’s decisions to continue suppressing interest rates—despite objections from the GOP and criticism from Trump during the campaign. It was sober economic policymaking over the course of a decade—not any single thing that’s happened over the past year—that brought the black and Hispanic unemployment rates to where they are now.

Jim, when I was 17, I was a high school dropout with a low-paying job at KFC. At 18, I joined the Navy in order to better myself, get an education, and do better in the future. I could have done like many people in low-paying jobs and sat on my butt during my time off, complaining about how the government wasn’t “doing enough” for me. Instead I got cracking and WORKED (wow, imagine that!) to change my circumstances. Isn’t it way past time people stopped using race and supposed oppression by “the man” as an excuse for indolence and lack of ambition?

You mean Blacks are finding jobs in the low paying service industries? They're going to have to but build even more Burger King's I guess.
Minimum wage is not a livable wage though. That is why the Republican party has not risen in the estimation of Blacks
You have no clue, and your programmed talking points mean little. The Dems sure know how to talk about all they do for the folks they need keep on the plantation. Meanwhile a Republican Black man just became Attorney General of Kentucky. But go ahead and keep chattering, Jim. The comedy is a useful break.

No Jim, just because that’s the only thing you qualify for, doesn’t mean everyone does. I’ve got many black friends where I come from that are getting good jobs at plants and in construction. Get out in the real world Jim. There is more than your parents basement.

In an era when government is no longer “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” but simply of the people, of the people, and of the people, Trump is a breath of fresh air. We’ve had enough lawyers in elected office. It’s high time we had some businessmen, farmers and truck drivers in Washington. And all this rot about impeachment has absolutely nothing to do with Trump’s behavior or performance. Instead, it has everything to do with the Democrats’ philosophy of “If you can’t beat ‘em, cheat ‘em.”

This means nothing. Holidays always boost more frivolous shopping and a rise in hiring. But after the celebration of fantasies, things slide again into the depths of poverty caused by overspending.

Don't tell the Democrats this...

Of course they wouldn't dare report on it anyway as it would show trump doing something good...

It sort if amazes me that America still trust the news media. Every time I see a headline, if it doesn't have to do with trump, it has to do with some other lie about the nation...

Yes he will and he will also say that even though blacks are now working, they still cannot earn enough to live comfortably. He lives in a black matriarchal society and although he won’t admit it, his theology is the same as Obama’s; black liberation theology. I did a study on Obama’s pastor mentor and there is no doubt as to his doctrine.
