Warrens $52 trillion health-care plan
Sen. Elizabeth Warren pledged Friday not to raise middle-class taxes to fund her “Medicare for All” plan, responding to pressure she faced as she emerged as a front-runner in the race for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

In a new outline, Warren’s campaign said her single-payer health plan would cost the country “just under” $52 trillion over a decade, which includes $20.5 trillion in new federal spending. It estimates the proposal would cost just less than the estimated $52 trillion in spending for the current system over 10 years.

The Massachusetts Democrat’s campaign said her plan would give every American “full health coverage, and coverage for long-term care.” It added that it would do so with “not one penny in middle-class tax increases” — a response to criticism from rivals such as South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg. ...

The MacArthur comment you quoted, Jim, is, to use the Greek, baloney. I guess you and he have never read Acts 8:1-4 or 11:19.

https://tinyurl.com/y64b7to4 (Thinking Biblically About the Economy, Government, and Your Money) from which,
John MacArthur wrote:
....Whatever happens economically in the United States has no direct effect on the church...it has no direct effect on the church. The church exists as a completely independent organism. The Kingdom of Christ has no connection to the kingdoms of this world. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in a capitalistic culture or an absolutely communistic culture. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in a monarchy or whether you’re in anarchy. What happens in the world, what happens politically, what happens economically in the world neither retards or expedites the development of the church. The Kingdom of God works by power that is transcendent to the world. It operates under the divine purpose and the divine hand and is not subject to the whimsies and the shifting changes in human cultures from nation to nation which exists, that form of government, that form of economics, that social structure has no direct impact on the church....

What Warren and her ilky friends don't tell you is, they can take all the money from all the rich, and it wouldn't be enough. The middle class is where the bulk of money is, and the middle class will be the payers. Do a search on the number of millionaires and billionaires. Always remember when a socialist/liberal speaks, it is a lie. And they are terrible at math.

Isn't Hillary having something called a "Listening Tour"? I think she still thinks she deserves to be president, and there are a lot of women, crones like her, that agree with her and will vote for her.
Because the US has not followed the Bible (esp. I Timothy 5)for decades, there is a whole reserve of older women who have an intense hatred of men and would delight in seeing Hillary or Warren become President. You can bet they will be contributing to Warren's campaign and volunteering for her.
But the good thing is that there is a 'self-cleaning' function in the US, where 'birds of a feather flock together' so these crones will move to other places where they will find similarly-minded women. And this makes those states, like NY, CA, IL, become easy Democrat wins.
It is in the 'borderline' states that have divided populations (half Dem/half Rep) where they will be working hard to make a difference.

The great problem with socialism/Liberalism is that it is made to sound so great; -
BUT is actually false premise.

Trying to make socialism/Liberalism affordable will cost the nation more - NOT less.
It is not "For the people" -
It is all about party ideology.

Socialism/Liberalism hates management and therefore 'government' which must be a form of management. Ultimately what the Socialists/Libs try to do is indoctrinate everybody into the ideology of, "equality for all."

However Orwell was right;
"All animals are equal - BUT, 'Some animals are more equal than others.'

Democrat/socialist motto::-
"Refer to democracy when talking to the public - But do not put it into your politics."

Following the Bolshevik Revolution, Lenin and his new communist government initiated many reforms. They took land from the Tsar, the church, nobles and other landlords, and redistributed it among the peasants in order to reform the agricultural sector and reward the peasants for their loyalty during the Revolution.

The above is from the internet.

The goal of Communism and Socialism is to convince the middle and lower classes (the majority) that they are persecuted and kept down by the rich. They simply promise them their system will right all those inequities. Most of us realize that it doesn’t work. There will simply be a different elite and a larger poor segment if they are successful.

Lovely. While Mr. Trump catches h— for trying to make America great again, Democrats like Warren are praised for trying to bring back the Great Depression.

Burdening small children and those yet unborn with more and more debt is a great evil. Baby Boomers (though not the first culprits) are exceptionally perverse. They kill millions of unborn children and the remainder they leave with crippling debt.
