Bigger, longer blackouts could lie ahead in California
A wildfire in California wine country that may have been caused by a high-voltage transmission line called into question Pacific Gas & Electric’s strategy of selectively cutting off power in windy weather to prevent blazes and could force it to resort to even bigger blackouts affecting millions as early as this weekend.

The repeated shut-offs and the prospect of longer and more widespread ones brought anger down on the utility from the governor and ordinary customers.

“We will hold them to account,” warned Gov. Gavin Newsom, who has repeatedly blasted PG&E — the nation’s largest utility — for what he calls years of mismanagement and underinvestment that have left its grid less resilient. ...

California has had wild fires for centuries.

Why are they blaming something called Global Warming as the reason for the fires?

"Wildfire suppression in the United States has had a long and varied history. For most of the 20th century, any form of wildland fire, whether it was naturally caused or otherwise, was quickly suppressed for fear of uncontrollable and destructive conflagrations such as the Peshtigo Fire in 1871 and the Great Fire of 1910. In the 1960s, policies governing wildfire suppression changed due to ecological studies that recognized fire as a natural process necessary for new growth. Today, policies advocating complete fire suppression have been exchanged for those who encourage wildland fire use, or the allowing of fire to act as a tool, such as the case with controlled burns."
In the eastern United States, with its significant rainfall, wildfires are relatively small and have rarely posed great risk to life and property." (Wiki)

So question: 'Did God include Global Warming In His creation??'

I wonder if the news media could interview people from Florida, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, who moved to CA to avoid hurricanes.

In Los Angeles, a fire erupted before dawn Monday on the west side of Sepulveda Pass, where Interstate 405 passes through the Santa Monica Mountains, and roared up slopes into wealthy neighborhoods, threatening thousands of homes. Several homes were seen burning and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James tweeted that he and his family had to evacuate his home....

Excellent point, JAG... Reminded me of two passages:

And the remnant of the men which were not killed by these plagues, repented not of the works of their hands that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which neither can see, neither hear, nor go. Also they repented not of their murder, and of their sorcery, neither of their fornication, nor of their theft. - Revelation 9:20-21

And the fifth Angel poured out his vial upon the throne of the beast, and the kingdom waxed dark, and they gnawed their tongues for sorrow. And blasphemed the God of heaven for their pains, and for their sores, and repented not of their works. - Revelation 16:10-11

Funny how we hear nothing of the environmentalist looneys who pushed for the legislative looneys to protect the forests by leaving the dead brush there, providing wonderful tinder. Good thing there is the power company to blame when a wire goes down.

I did hear an unusual note about CA lately: more money has been raised in CA for President Trump's reelection campaign than in any other state. I know the vote in the state is usually 90 percent Dems (including many illegal votes from illegal immigrants, people voting twice, etc).

The libs will blame all the fires on the conservatives and then try to inact more redistricting legislation...

Things will get worse, and they'll keep blaming it on conservatives...

And the whole nation will follow suit, as continue to call good evil, and evil good...

California, one of the world's leading economies if it stood alone, is quickly becoming a third world equivalent. Let all take notice: this is the US, as a whole, of the future if we enable the Progressives to rule as they demand.

Godlessness ultimately leads to ruin. And they have no one to blame but themselves.
