Anxious Democratic Establishment Asks, ‘Is There Anybody Else?’
When a half-dozen Democratic donors gathered at the Whitby Hotel in Manhattan last week, the dinner began with a discussion of which presidential candidates the contributors liked. But as conversations among influential Democrats often go these days, the meeting quickly evolved into a discussion of who was not in the race — but could be lured in.

Would Hillary Clinton get in, the contributors wondered, and how about Michael R. Bloomberg, the former New York mayor? One person even mused whether Michelle Obama would consider a late entry, according to two people who attended the event, which was hosted by the progressive group American Bridge.

“Since the last debate, just anecdotally, I’ve had five or six people ask me: ‘Is there anybody else?’” said Leah Daughtry, a longtime Democrat who has run two of the party’s recent conventions. ...

Sadly, and as a general comment not really about this story but much wider, it seems like there are not the quality of leaders as once was. A generation has passed and now we are left to a large extent with ourselves. There is not a lot of moral backbone, much less faith in Christ out there. We are an entertainment culture stewing in our own juices.

The problem is a heart problem and it's too common. We as Christians must stand up strongly as salt and light in this current generation, not minding Jim's false cries of "Dominionism." Because this rabble wants to remake America in their own image.

The Dems have a pretty big barrel of potentials, but when they talk Clinton, Bloomberg, and M.O, you might conclude they are nearing bottom and getting desperate.

""Since the last debate, just anecdotally, I’ve had five or six people ask me: ‘Is there anybody else?’”

A practicing sodomite who professionally is an abortionist and whose hobby is witchcraft??

Perfect.

Elmer Fudd would be a more viable candidate than any of the silly biscuits that are currently running—or at least attempting to walk briskly—for president on the Democratic side. Unlike any of the aforementioned sleazebags, at least Elmer stands for integwity, chawactuh, and pwain old-fashioned Amewicanism.

It's understandable why you think he'd be a good president. He supports abortion, "gay rights", and stem cell research. You know, all the important things presidents should get behind.

Michael Bloomberg would make a very good President also. A billionaire who was actually a billionaire and does actual charity work unlike some Republicans. There's still plenty of time for more to come out.

But, I agree Michael about the polls. I think most people will completely ignore them for 2020 and vote to have a change, an assured one

The Republicans should be working on getting Mike Pence to be the Presidential candidate. 👍It's not only the Democrats that have to worry ❗

Well if the polls say so, it must be true. Like in 2016.

Warren and Biden would make a great ticket, Jim. Liz can wear her Pocahontas outfit while Uncle Joe stands behind her and fondles her. You sure know how to spot a leader, don’t you?

The Democrats have a fairly good chance of winning this time, and they should have followed some of the good advice given such as,
Jonathan Martin wrote:
....The Ohio senator said he was confident Democrats would eventually rally behind their nominee, but he warned the party not to embrace a single-payer health care plan that eliminates private insurance.

“I think it’ll be a hard sell to the public if we go into the general election for ‘Medicare for all,’” said Mr. Brown, citing the risk of alienating union workers who would lose their negotiated plans....

Yes, there are several but not one of them, especially HRC or Obama would get my vote. We're already in enough trouble without entertaining thoughts of these two people as possible candidates.
