Cruelty Begets Cruelty: A Toxic Workplace Turns Women Into Worse Mothers
The occasional rude remark is bound to occur in any office setting. Sadly, a new study finds that women who are subjected to incivility and harsh words in the workplace are more likely to engage in stricter, more authoritarian parenting practices at home that are bound to have a negative impact on their children.

“These findings reveal some previously undocumented ways that women, in particular, suffer as a result of workplace aggression,” says researcher Dr. Angela Dionisi of Carleton University in a release by the American Psychological Association. “In uncovering how this mistreatment in the workplace interferes with positive mother-child interactions, this research also speaks to a previously unacknowledged group of indirect incivility victims, namely children.” ...

I just heard that a convenience store clerk was shot dead in South Florida, not over a robbery or theft in the store, but after a fight in the store over whether a youth was old enough to buy a 99 cent cigar.
That reminds me that those clerks have one of the most dangerous jobs in the US, but have no pension plan at 25 yrs, no special pay, nothing. Same thing with roofers and construction workers. I don't see how that is fair when police and fireman, who also do dangerous jobs, but get nice pensions at 25 yrs or less of service. Even more dangerous are jobs in fishing, like the ones you see in 'dirty jobs' on cable TV shows.
So I think this 'studyfinds' website is a crock; one study says coffee is bad for you, the next one says it is OK, and the next says it is good for you.

I‘ be seen this first hand when I worked for the state “The Man”. Women are more stressed, late nights, health problems, usurping men, immodest dress, drama at work, men vs women for positions, gossip, office romances etc.
When out of God’s order expect chaos and confusion. The no fear of God, two income households, love of money, coveting more and selfishness has ruined most families. Jam. 3:16; 1 Cor. 14:33.

Part of the feminist scheme is to make women think that homemaking is somehow less important and more unproductive than working...

The reality is, that one big reason that our society is the way that it is, is because the moms have given their children over to the wolves, while they go work to pay for their schooling that they could have provided...

I know so many mothers (including my own) who have found true fulfillment by staying home and homeschooling their children. They can look back and see a physical, living and breathing legacy of their amazing efforts to raise the next generation...

What do the working moms have to say at the end if their child rearing years? They made enough money to pay for a new car every six years, and get a house bigger than they need. In other words, nothing worthwhile in that grade scheme of things...

The workplace in general makes women more unfeminine, because they are not to be there to begin with! God made women to be keepers at home and to guide the house {Titus 2:3-5; I Timothy 5:14}.

This is why women have the makeup and the attributes they do; it suits the home well, but when out of its place, disaster occurs.

In the world of Christians, that should be the ONLY debate unless a woman is a widow or has an invalid husband. Actually, if Biblical Christians are involved it shouldn't even be a debate. What goes on inside the workplace is secondary and irrelevant - just like the government schools. A child from a Christian home has no place in Babylon's school system. A Christian mother with an able bodied husband has no business neglecting her kids in the workplace.
Well said Kenny! Whenever possible a woman should stay home and take care of her children and her home. This evil egalitarianism has taken its toll on the Christian community and they don't even realize it.

Anyway, thanks for your comment.

It is difficult to know where to start with this article. Is a simple rude remark considered "work place aggression?" Certainly rudeness isn't up to standard of the kinds of communication that Christians should have with one another. (Brothers, please forgive me.) But "aggression" is a very strong word.

Then there is the debate over the role of women in the workplace vs caring for their own children.
