A Bible translator in Cameroon was butchered to death on Sunday morning during an overnight attack while his wife’s arm was cut off, according to a ministry source.
Bible translator Angus Abraham Fung was among seven people said to have been killed during an attack carried out by suspected Fulani herdsmen sometime during the early hours of Sunday morning in the town of Wum, according to Efi Tembon, who leads a ministry called Oasis Network for Community Transformation.
Located in Cameroon’s violence-ridden Anglophone region where separatists are fighting for independence, Wum is among several localities where youth from the nomadic Fulani herding community are being encouraged by government actors to carry out attacks against local farming communities that support the separatist rebels, Tembon said....
Youth in Asia. (let's hope this time that I can correct what Google speech recognition thinks I said and what I think I said!) Some of the conservative churches here do support missionaries. The ones that come to mind are those that are in Japan and Russia. Now, some of the churches are certainly not racist. I can think of two whose main pastors' only daughters are married to Blacks. So, you can see, many Northern Independent Fundamentalist Baptist churches do eschew racism‚ĚóūüĎé Unfortunately, it has been many years since I seen a black pastor speaking from Africa at one of the churches. One black spastor used to come to one of the churches from Los Angeles--an American who had a daughter who was a world-class runner. A very good speaker by the way.
So, Africa, should be a continent we should be looking at ūüĎć
The account please me confused. It really sounds like these people were being attacked for their political action rather than their religious action and this case? it certainly wasn't Danny pure religious motivation for these attacks apparently?
Here's an action that was taken just for religious reasons!

Sounds like the government is complicit, and arming the herdsmen. I didn't know that.
We live in such relative safety, and can't begin to imagine scenes like this, or being the loved ones and survivors who have to deal with the aftermath of not only death itself, but the images of those being hacked to death.
Well, you know what to do for the next sunday church service and sunday school. Have all the members get in groups, and pray. You did it for 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, During the elections.
After listening to thousands of hours of sermons, surely your heart is burdened to act, and to sacrifice.
I wish all the free will, calvinist debaters, the covenant theology dispensationalist debaters , the KJV debaters who fill threads with hundreds of posts would fill this thread with as well with testimonies of what their church does for Cameroon.
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were killed for the word of God, and for the testimony which they maintained. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, Lord, which art holy and true! dost not thou judge and avenge our blood on them, that dwell on the earth? And long white robes were given unto every one, and it was said unto them, that they should rest for a little season until their fellow servants, and their brethren that should be killed even as they were, were fulfilled. - Revelation 6:9-11
