Beto campaign crowd boos man advocating God, prayer
A man at a hall event in South Carolina for 2020 Democratic hopeful Beto O'Rourke was booed for urging America to return to God and prayer in schools in response to an epidemic of mass shootings.

"I grew up with goals, I'm the son of immigrants, we prayed in school, the worst problem in school was chewing gum under the desks," the man said when given the microphone at the Seminar Brewing Company in Florence, South Carolina, on Tuesday, Breitbart News reported.

Members of the audience responded with boos. ...

That is to be expected at campaign rally's for Democrat candidates since the Democratic Party is the party of Satan. Whereas the Republican Party is the party of Jesus since the Republican platform is in line with the teachings of Jesus.

Jim. I am not on a pastoral committee looking for a preacher to be president and even he has feet of clay. I am looking for someone strong in his love for our country, will uphold our constitution of the United States 🇺🇸 and not buy off the people who are building bombs and blackmailing us with threats to blow us away if we don’t. I want a president that shows strength and will make a believer out those that are in apparently some kind of denial. The enemy like animals can smell fear. Obama did so much damage to our country and we are still paying the price. If a Democrat gets in office our country will be in deep trouble.

“ How many Blacks have you brought to Christ ?” Cloak and dagger code for Dr. Tim, I cannot give you a straight answer, so I’ll call you a racist instead.
If a thirsty soul dropped by, I pray Christ would call them to salvation and not listen to any of this banter.

Jim Lincoln wrote: “I'm curious Timothy how many blacks have you brought to Christ and into your church. From past comments I would say none.” And you’d be dead wrong, Jim. I have shared the gospel with white people, black people, Asian people, Hispanic people, you name it. Furthermore, I have led people from each of these groups to the Lord. And I invite them to our church which, by the way, is composed of white people, black people, Asian people, Hispanic people, you name it. You can’t play your silly little race card with me, Jim. And supporting whatever church you are going to doesn’t relieve you of the personal responsibility to evangelize. What on earth does Medicaid have to do with evangelism? Nothing—unless the only gospel you have is the social gospel, which is no gospel at all.

I'm curious Timothy how many blacks have you brought to Christ and into your church. From past comments I would say none! But I hope you have. You are the supposed professional on evangelism. I support whatever church I'm going to and that goal.

John 18:36-37
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world. Then Pilate said to him, So you are a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice. ---ESV

In the spirit of the above John MacArthur article some people in Nebraska is trying to get Medicaid expanded more quickly!

But as John pointed out, puttering around in politics is not the Christians first priority.

Hell Bound reprobates cannot hear God.
Therefore they will not hear His followers.

Loutish anti-Christian fools serve in an existence dominated by sin and are not aware of it. Sin blinds them.

God and His gift of faith and truth comes NOT by education - but by revelation. So you cannot educate these poor fools to the truth.
They are lost.

May God have mercy on their souls. Amen.

Jim Lincoln, by evading my questions, you answered them loud and clear: YOU AREN’T DOING A THING IN THIS WORLD TO TRY TO BRING OTHERS TO CHRIST. Therefore nothing else you say on here has any relevance whatsoever. You are a fraud, a fake, and an absolute humbug, and you know it.

...we can estimate the following of the 60 million or so Americans who did vote for Trump:

• No more than (and likely significantly less than) 10% are white nationalists who were truly excited about some of the most extreme ideas that this candidate allegedly stood for.
• Separate from that small but vocal group, probably 50% of those 60 million voters are die-hard Republicans who would be hard-pressed to vote for a Democrat, regardless of the candidate.
• This leaves the 40% of voters who are more independent than they are strictly party-loyal. Some of them are in unions. Some of them voted for Obama in 2008. A significant number were, and are, hungry for a candidate who speaks to their values, takes seriously the things that matter to them and promotes a policy agenda that might really make a difference for them and their families....

Building a politics along these lines first requires looking at what is happening today - economically, religiously and demographically - and how these dynamics relate to the formation of a diverse coalition of working class Americans....

Timothy if your religion only led a person to politics like the present Republican one, then it hasn't let anywhere of importance.

Pew research has something to say about this,

https://tinyurl.com/y6hz9fy3 (Worldwide, People Divided on Whether Life Today Is Better Than in the Past). ---"Current economic conditions a key factor in assessing progress."

The Pew article certainly pointed out there were other factors besides the economics to determine people's view on if life is better today!

I do agree with MacArthur in that which way you will not declare that you are or not a Christian. My husband is Republican, 2 sons are a daughter and grandson and wife Democrats. My husband has never made a profession or been baptized or acted interested in God or the Bible etc His family Democrats except for one sister. His brother a devout Christian, a holiness preacher and his sons are also Holiness beliefs are Republicans. So rather than judge their salvation, I leave that to God who judges the heart.

This scripture came to mind as I read this.
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
vs37 But as the days of Noah were so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Did they not laugh and ridicule Noah building this huge Ark, going about with business as usual, until the day Noah and family entered the ark,vs39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away,so also will the coming of the son of man be.
I have been given the opportunity as a Christian to vote a President into office and what my party stands for is very important to me. I refuse to vote for abortion and other evils that a party in control will pass laws that are against the laws and statutes of Jehovah God that I serve.

Members of the audience responded with boos.

One jeered, "It's 2019!"

Another shouted, "Nobody wants to hear you, give the mic back!"

"Separation of church and state!" an O'Rourke supporter said.

"Shut up! And go to church!" shouted another.

...the former congressman later said "my bad for giving the mic out."

The response that sticks out to me is: "Its 2019!", which really wraps up where this nation is, as the next generation has evolved beyond any need for some God. God is dead, God who? Genocide against The Living God, and the wildly successful agenda of those who hate Him, to erase Him from the minds of the next generation. The God of the Bible has become the butt of uncensored jokes, and the mere mention of sin gets laughed off and scoffed at as some antiquated notion, reserved for this nation's remnant of crazies.

Give it up, Beto...you're drawing 2% of an entire nation. Time to join Kirsten Gillibrand in the, nobody likes you, crying room.

Jim Lincoln, are YOU reaching the lost? Are YOU giving them the gospel? Have YOU led any to Christ lately—or ever? If not, why don’t you stop your hypocritical ranting and get on the ball?

John MacArthur wrote:
....
God has above all else called the church to bring sinful people to salvation through Jesus Christ. Even as the apostle Paul described his mission to unbelievers, so it is the primary task of all Christians to reach out to the lost "to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me [Christ]" (Acts 26:18; cf. Exodus 19:6; 1 Peter 2:5, 9). If we do not evangelize the lost and make disciples of new converts, nothing else we do for people—no matter how beneficial it seems—is of any eternal consequence. Whether a person is an atheist or a theist, a criminal or a model citizen, sexually promiscuous and perverse or strictly moral and virtuous, a greedy materialist or a gracious philanthropist—if he does not have a saving relationship to Christ, he is going to hell. It makes no difference if an unsaved person is for or against abortion, a political liberal or a conservative, a prostitute or a police officer, he will spend eternity apart from God unless he repents and believes the gospel.
