CA Resolution Condemns Religious Leaders Who Oppose LGBTQ Lifestyles
California lawmakers held a hearing Tuesday on a controversial resolution that some say condemns religious leaders who oppose homosexuality.

Several pastors in the Golden State say proposed resolution titled Assembly Concurrent Resolution 99 (ACR99) threatens their constitutional rights. The resolution was authored by Assemblyman Evan Low (D-San Jose). It tells Californians of many religions that their beliefs about sexual orientation and the binary, biological nature of gender are unacceptable to the state.

Controversy has been growing over the resolution, which passed the California State Assembly earlier this year, and reportedly urges pastors to affirm LGBT lifestyles. To read the text of the resolution, click here.

The resolution calls on "counselors, pastors, religious workers, educators and institutions with great moral influence to counsel on LGBTQ matters from a place of love and ...

Dr. Tim wrote:
California: a revival of Sodom and Gomorrah; a stench in the nostrils of a holy God; a suburb of hell.
Reminded me of the episode of Murdoch's Mysteries I watched this afternoon, when, at a death penalty hanging, the convo between the onlooking law enforcement officers included the words, "Well he crawled out of hell and came here; we are merely dispatching him back there." I thought, "Hmmmm, there is some theology back of that comment."

Matthew 13:37-40 KJV
(37)  He [Jesus] answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
(38)  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
(39)  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
(40)  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

It is good to take this into account when interpreting such texts as John 3:16 and so on, if we should ever wish to see things from God's perspective.

The proposed statement is a declaration against "conversion therapy" and those who don't provide their full affirmation as they feel that this lack of affirmation is the cause of the mental health issues suffered by the LGBTQ..., etc community.

Psalm 107 gives the real answer. They have turned against the Lord as fools and now find themselves with severe illness & depression as a result. Not to say that everyone is severe illness or depression has this same cause-effect relationship as the correlary certainly isn't true.

As a result, their solution is to attempt to silence those who call people caught up in sin to life changing repentence and life giving faith. So Amen to Dr. Tim. Calling sin to be sin and showing the way to life is truly loving. Otherwise, we are condemning these poor people to death and then a second death. That's not loving.

May the Lord open eyes, ears, and hearts to hear the cry of Wisdom.

California is definitely aiming for the Wrath of God top Ten list.

"Those who dishonoured God were given up to dishonour themselves. A man cannot be delivered up to a greater slavery than to be given up to his own lusts. Such are given over, like the Egyptians (Isa. 19:4), into the hand of a cruel lord. The particular instances of their uncleanness and vile affections are their unnatural lusts, for which many of the heathen, even of those among them who passed for wise men, as Solon and Zeno, were infamous, against the plainest and most obvious dictates of natural light. The crying iniquity of Sodom and Gomorrah, for which God rained hell from heaven upon them, became not only commonly practised, but avowed, in the pagan nations. Perhaps the apostle especially refers to the abominations that were committed in the worship of their idol-gods, in which the worst of uncleannesses were prescribed for the honour of their gods; dunghill service for dunghill gods: the unclean spirits delight in such ministrations" (M.Henry) (Ref: Romans 1)

What a sad day in America, how the mighty are falling.

Which without God is inescapable.

I wonder what party affiliations those people have?

Please join in prayer for a awakening/revival for or nation🙏

They can try to condemn whosoever they wish. God doesn't condemn his own people. These folks cannot think straight, nor discern anything spiritually.

God condemning his own people!? Ha!

It is God that justifies!
