New troubles for city over Chick-fil-A ban
The Texas attorney general has sued San Antonio to obtain documents regarding the city’s decision to exclude Chick-fil-A from an airport concessions deal because of the religious beliefs of its owner.

But it’s just one of the cases against the city, and now AG Ken Paxton, who wants documents shedding light “on the religious bigotry,” will get some help.

Lawyers with First Liberty Institute have filed a petition in Texas district court in Travis County to join the state’s lawsuit.

When the dispute began in April, First Liberty sought public records from the city. The city refused First Liberty and also the state, prompting the lawsuit. ...

Yes, Frank, at any given moment we are only one election away from the possibility of losing all of the precious freedoms that so many thousands have died to protect. I just pray that Christians go up before America goes down.

Hi Frank, thanks. Always a great point about Muslim owned bakeries, etc., ...never a peep, because they, and everyone else are off-limits.
I was thinking, after reading your comment, that it seems to me, since the Christian owned bakers, and other service based businesses have been gaining some traction in the courts, the LGBTQ's have taken to a different angle/scheme. Their new angles may not be earning them the same quick cash, but it seems to be suiting their agenda, in their continued fight against God. The new angles being the war against basic religious views that now qualify as hate speech, bigotry, and intolerance, and also, this new pronoun nonsense, both of which are being used to take down anyone who doesnt comply, and it's working out well for them.
Thanks Mr OBama.
Yes, I understand that if I quote a scripture that is offensive to some, then I am guilty of hate speech. No, what they are saying is my Lord and Savior is guilty of hate speech.

I am firmly convinced that one day Christianity will be illegal. We already have that in practice in many countries, but it will come to us sooner than later.

By the way, Frank, WND articles are the biggest pain to read with their intrusive, full page pop-up ads. I had to keep hitting the back button, and quickly scroll back to where I left off reading, and read as fast as I could before the page was taken over again. I had to do that about five times. Beck must be short on funds to allow such cheesy, low rent pop-ups. Super annoying, every single time SA links to his sites articles.

Good to see the state attorney is taking up the case against the city. It's apparent that Chick-fil-A is the object of religious discrimination, though they do not give out evangelical tracts with every meal, nor have Bible verses printed on the back of their receipts.
It is unfortunate the city has to be taken to court; somewhere their attorneys will find some obscure Texas ordinance that permits them to do what they have done.
It is also unfortunate that for many, Christianity has become a battle-ground issue. If you were sitting on a bus (probably not the one with the opera singers singing about getting money from a cash settlement)and asked your fellow bus rider about this case, they would not see it as a "Come to Jesus" moment, nor understand why Christians seem to be so preoccupied with 'their rights.'
Well, you say, didn't Paul exert his rights when he was in a tight place?
Yes, he did; he said he was a Roman citizen and exerted his rights to appeal his case to Rome. (of course, with all the corruption existent then, it just 'withered on the vine' and Paul probably died before his case was ever heard).

I'm so glad that the State's Attorney General is persuing this, and that Liberty First has joined in the fight. The San Antonio council votes 6-4, banning Chic-Fil-A for their religious views, yet, if this business denied service to any customers for their religious views, the same council would have freaked out, and filed their own lawsuits as they cried foul, for their intolerance and bigotry. Hipocrites. Crazy times.
Wouldn’t let me read the article??

I agree Chris. It is common for our society to ban anything that remotely appears to be Christian. Tolerance only applies to non Christian things and not Christian. We never hear about Muslim bakeries being sued, but only Christian ones and the list goes on and on.

I’m not all that familiar with Chick-Fil-A’s religious beliefs, but I have never heard of them discriminating against any group.

Our Lord says homosexuality is an abomination in His sight and that is sufficient for me.
