How millennials replaced religion with astrology and crystals
The cause behind the spiritual shift is a combination of factors. In more than a dozen interviews for this story with people ranging in age from 18 to their early 40s, a common theme emerged: They were raised with one set of religious beliefs — Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist — but as they became adults, they felt that faith didn’t completely represent who they were or what they believed.

Millennials increasingly identify as “nones” when asked about their religious affiliation, according to a 2017 Pew survey: They are atheist or agnostic, or say they are “spiritual but not religious.”

But yes-or-no survey questions don’t tell the whole story, says Diane Winston, the Knight Chair in Media and Religion at the Annenberg School for Communication at USC. Just about every society throughout human history has developed traditions and practices. That's not a coincidence. she said: “People are inherently ...

""Millennials increasingly identify as “nones” when asked about their religious affiliation, according to a 2017 Pew survey: They are atheist""

This generation is one which does not know God.
Its happened before ....

Judges 2:10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. 11 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: 12 And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers"

That must be why we have extensive murders of the unborn child - legalized by their politicians.

And extensive influence by Sodom and Gomorrah mindset.

SO -
Jude: 10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain,"

Call these "ABC": Anything But Christianity.
And organized churches, "liberal" and Fundy alike, have been no help either, with their "Whatever Works" pragmatism in conduct and worship.

New age has been popular since like the 70's, it's nothing new. Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist all have new age beliefs in their faiths. You can find some weird Mary type worship with icons and rossaries, buddhists practice yoga and meditation, speaking with spirits, and Judaism
with kabbalah, using something called Sefirot, identical to new age.
