Suppressing God and faith in America is like 'schizophrenia,' Ben Carson says
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson criticized secularists during an annual gathering of social conservative activists Friday morning, saying that the idea of pushing God out of American public life is similar to “schizophrenia.”

Carson, a retired pediatric neurosurgeon who ran for president in 2016, spoke before hundreds of Christian conservatives gathered for the annual Road to Majority Conference hosted by the national evangelical grassroots organization Faith & Freedom Coalition at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The 67-year-old doctor urged the crowd to have “courage” to stand up and defend the values that the United States was founded on.

“What we need to realize is that our country is based on Judeo-Christian principles and foundation,” Carson said. “We must be willing to stand up for those principles and the only way that we can be the land of the free ...

I do believe the U.S. was established with Christian principles in mind; not as a Christian nation, but one with Christian principles. No one can become a Christian through obeying the commandments! And I believe that in the beginning our nation in fact tried to obey those principles to a degree. Anyway, Dr. Carson is correct and now those principles are ridiculed and rejected by the mainstream of our society.
I would have never imagined that this country would ever become what it has become. Old folks like me can perhaps see this more clearly?
Come quickly Lord Jesus, come quickly.
You have got some nerve stating that Carson does not have moral values. He is against abortion, homosexuality and every other perversion under the sun and he is a man who has placed his trust entirely in Jesus alone for salvation.

What America needs most isn’t better politicians. What it needs most is for people who call themselves Christians, (Little Christ) to stop fighting over things that aren’t important, and focus their energy on winning souls for Christ.
To stop judging each other and bickering. Romans 14 is a wonderful passage in the Bible. It’s what I try to live by. Who are we to judge God’s servants? You don’t have to agree with everything they say. But don’t give occasion for the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme by fighting amongst ourselves.

I have always been supportive of Dr. Carson. At least he had the courage to stand up and try to do something about the horrific state this nation is in thanks to the Progressives and their demonic policies. Amen, Dr. Tim. May the Lord do just that, starting with us.

Jim/Lincoln don't you agree It's nice to know an honorable man can still make it to high office in this land? Regardless of the attempt to diminish it by ignoring what Carson said and inject irrelevance into it? Are you not the same Jim who wants to keep religion out of politics?

I have no doubt that Mr. Carson has better morality than most of the other people in this Administration. However, he may not be any more Christian then any of them

III. Sharing the Truth with Seventh-day Adventists

Our concern is to be sure that individual Adventists are confronted with the one true gospel.

If an Adventist will admit that Mrs. White was fallible, that no record in heaven could possibly bring a believer into condemnation, and that the works of the Law such as Sabbath-keeping are not necessary conditions of salvation, then other things being equal, he should be acknowledged as an evangelical.

On the other hand, if the Adventist persists in defending Mrs. White’s infallibility, the Investigative Judgment and the Old Testament dietary laws, he chooses for himself the Galatian heresy and places himself under the curse of the Law (Gal 3:10) and of preaching another gospel (Gal 1:8-9)....

excerpt from, https://www.jashow.org/articles/seventh-day-adventism/

So, the article says that Mr. Carson is a Christian, but if he's an orthodox Seventh Day Adventist -- he isn't unfortunately. Read the entire above article❗👍

Well 'delusion' can be part of schizophrenia.
Mental Aberration too!!

2Thes 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

While I don’t agree with him on a number of points, I must say that Dr. Carson is a man if character and courage. May God raise up millions of others in this wicked nation of ours.
