'My Little Pony' features lesbian couple in last episode of final season
Joining "Arthur," the cartoon series "My Little Pony" will feature a same-sex couple in Saturday's episode to coincide with LGBT "pride month."

The show's ninth and final season will feature a lesbian pony couple in an episode called "The Last Crusade," BuzzFeed News reported on Wednesday.

"'My Little Pony' has always been about friendship and accepting people (or ponies) that are different from you. So it just felt like something important to do," Michael Vogel, the show's writer and producer, said in an interview with the outlet.

Nicole Dubuc, co-showrunner, added: “I think it’s fantastic that we can show that what truly defines a family is love — that, to me, is the core of 'My Little Pony'.” ...

It’s refreshing to see God’s people sending prayers upward instead of hurling darts outward.

Tim, I’m praying as well. Please pray for a family member that is messed up with a man that is a felon and she is now on drugs as well. I will be praying for yours as well, Mike.

An eleven-year-old son of the pastor of a sister church had to be rushed by ambulance to a pediatric hospital in New Orleans. I could go on and on about the tragic things going on around me, and I’m sure all of us could. I don’t know about anybody else, but I need a little comic relief once in a while. The Bible says that laughter does the heart good, and if someone can explain to me how we are supposed to laugh without ever being exposed to anything funny, I am, like Dumbo, all ears.
Will be praying for your family member, Dr. Tim. I know only too well the sadness of close family going in a destructive direction.

Amen Doc, Indeed he has, is, and will be doing just that and through the glorious work of His which guides the work of our hands.
His word is filled to the gills with examples even of those who don't know their right hand from their left of receiving such a blessing.

Praise the Lord, James. Thanks to all who have offered to pray. I don’t just believe, but know, that God answers prayers in powerful and unexpected ways.

Hey Doc,
I will be keeping your family member in prayer. I have had the same experience with a family member of mine who is now close to completing his degree to become a counselor to help those who are where he was. Only by the grace of God has he been able to travel such a road but now his path can now be used by others who are in need.

You’re coming in loud and clear, Sister Dolores. I got so sick of the anti-hunting crowd implying how “unmanly” it is to shoot deer (let alone rabbits and other small game) that now all I hunt is Kodiak bears, and I only use a pocketknife. So far I haven’t encountered any of the giant bruins in Mississippi, but I never leave home without my trusty just in case. Incidentally, I have read every word of the state’s hunting regulations, and since there is no limit on Kodiak bears I’m hoping to kill several thousand of them before the end of the year.

All comments have been so inspiring to me and uplifting. I too, have noticed that very few comment on these posts but get a doctrinal post going and it’s all out war. I am a Christian serving God in a Baptist Church. My grandson raised Baptist, is youth Pastor of his wife’s denomination Presbyterian and we all love each other and get along great. We are Republicans and my daughter and their family Democrats. No argument between us. About politics or religion.
My family laughs a lot and we have a great sense of humor and I thought of that scripture in proverbs that says, a merry heart does good like a medicine. I was so down once and my husband went hunting even while being so sick. Someone made a snarky remark about hunting for the sport of it and how horrible that was! Then the fun began when you guys started making jokes about how deer were so dangerous and the hunters had to hunt from deer stands. I laughed so much and my heart was so merry and I loved you all so much because you made me feel so special! And he did get two deer 😄

Same here, Dr. Tim. Will certainly pray. These are hard and dark days. Haven't seen much of you on SA lately and will pray this season passes quickly.

While I have heard of some people in the Middle East coming to faith because they had dreams of Jesus, even if those accounts are accurate, they are a tiny fraction. If faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God, how can they hear without a preacher...who then needs to be sent.

Yeah doc, unfortunate things have been happening in my church as well, insomuch that my pastors decided it was needful to do a series on suffering. I’ll certainly pray for you, your family member, and your church.

I like what you said about someone having to write the tract, print the tract and distribute it (even if it means tossing it out of windows) to get the gospel out.

It reminds me of a sermon that I heard where the pastor pointed out that we all can find something to do, the guy in the sound booth makes sure the mics are set, he fixes any bugs that might be in the system, and because of him everything is ready to go and the sermon is recorded so that it can potentially reach hundreds or even thousands of people.

May God encourage us to further the gospel no matter what we are going through.

Thanks QC. I will even go so far as to say that it is virtually impossible for anybody to get saved without God using human instruments. I got saved reading a gospel tract, but some man wrote the tract, others printed it, and apparently one even threw it out the window, because I found it on the side of the road. Even the Bible itself—the ultimate source of the new birth (I Peter 1:23) doesn’t print and distribute itself, but requires humans to see that it goes forth.

@Dr. Tim, good one. Although I think once we saw the Arthur show have a homosexual “marriage” and Cartoon Network (CN) celebrate gay pride month, something like this was sorta predictable.

It would be an interesting study to see what Network is the strongest advocate, what show is the strongest advocate, who the writers are for that show and what other shoes are they part of.

I think Steven Universe of CN was/is the strongest advocate of it.

But I recommend this:
