'Shift' happening in US on abortion, 'scales finally tipping': pro-life leaders
Buoyed by the number of laws being passed at the state level and dozens of federal judges being confirmed, pro-life advocates are hailing a tipping point and "shift" happening across the U.S. on abortion.

The "scales [are] finally tipping" in favor of the unborn, said Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser as she addressed hundreds of guests gathered Monday for the annual Campaign for Life Gala, held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium.

"It's about time, don't you say. The time is now," she said.

Supermodel and businesswoman Kathy Ireland, who served as mistress of ceremonies, also celebrated the “incredible shift happening in America.” ...

Why don't we hear more about Christians adopting as preventive measures to adoption?

How many Christian adoption agencies are there? I heard of the Bair Foundation only.

The post discusses that Shift happening in the US on abortion, 'scales finally tipping': pro-life leaders. Floated by the number of laws being passed at the state level and dozens of federal judges being corroborated, pro-life advocates are summoning a tipping point and "shift" happening across the U.S. on abortion.

It should be pointed out that Trump's position on abortion is not as conservative as some Catholic /Evangelical position is he has been fairly constant on these positions.

Thanks Frank for the empathy. Pray that my heart is not so turbulent concerning this issue as to fall into despair. But I don't seek peace of mind; peace of mind is impossible when the innocents are being murdered. To me, those who have peace of mind concerning abortion have become callous in heart. I echo the martyrs in Revelation 6:10 who cry "How long, O Lord..."? There the cry is against the despots who had taken it upon themselves to murder those who are Christ's witnesses. But here, in the states and territories of the U.S. it is the people who are to blame; mothers, fathers, those who have sworn to uphold both the Hippocratic Oath and the Constitution.
In Ezekiel 9:4 only those who mourned against the evils done in Jerusalem were given a life saving mark. Even the pleading of the prophet did not stop the LORD's judgment against the people of His beloved city. How much more will America be held accountable by Him?
Well said brother! Yes, I will have no peace of mind except when I am dead and am no longer plagued by my corruptible body and nature and this world. Yes, those martyred in Rev. 6:10 wanted justice.

My exasperation comes in knowing that many who say in polls that they are pro life are liars. For example, the great majority of Blacks say they are pro life and yet, that 1 courageous Democrat in the NC Senate was the only one who proved that he was pro life. And on the House side only 2 of the 26 Black members voted for life. They seem content with nearly half of our conceived race being aborted.
Of course, the Born Alive Bill had nothing to do with stopping abortion but caring for the life of the baby that survived the abortion. Clearly, the mother has forfeited what legal right she had over the child once the infant was free of the mother and the umbilical cord was severed. It should be the state's duty to care for any human being struggling to survive. Clear as day? Not in these hypocrites eyes and consciences.
It sounds like you are agonizing over this and I am with you completely. What we are seeing is the true mindset of those who pretend to care and yet don't care at all.

I will not dare to hope. I am so exasperated. The NC House failed to overturn the veto of our Governor on our Born Alive Bill (requiring doctors to provide life saving care to infants who survive an abortion). Only 3 Democrats broke the party line and we needed 5 more. The Senate overrode the veto by 1 vote and it was provided by 1 courageous Democrat. I wrote him a letter of thanks and encouragement.

Will do, Connor. California is probably the most liberally, progressive state in the union, with a few others as close seconds, such as my own home state of Illinois, etc. California, like Nevada, is also home to dense clusters of Charismatic and Pentecostal churches, and ministries, which do more harm than good, so trouble abounds from all ends, and fervent prayer for all is in serious need.

Hope you've been doing good...

https://tinyurl.com/yxoc6t7r (American views on the moral acceptability of 21 issues--Gallup Poll) as I gather, 50% thinks abortion is wrong while 42% Think it is okay when taking in their whole sample. The whole article is short with some understandable graphs included. 👍 One should add this:
Abortion is right
Very conservative/Conservative % 23
Very liberal/Liberal % 73 Difference. 50 pts.
