Aussie Election Has Stunned Big Media, Pollsters, Climate Cultists, Greens, Labor
‚ÄúIt Was Supposed to Be Australia‚Äôs Climate Change Election. What Happened?‚ÄĚ That was the headline of an election news analysis piece by Damien Cave for the New York Times on May 19.
Eric Worrall, writing at the climate blog WattsUpWithThat, makes a similar point in his column entitled ‚ÄúAussie Election Lesson: Climate Activism is a Game for Lazy Rich Elitists.‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúOne of the most intriguing takeaways from the 18th May Federal Election in Australia is how poorly Labor‚Äôs climate action political campaign focus played in working class areas,‚ÄĚ comments Worrall. ‚ÄúThis isn‚Äôt the first time the climate movement has misjudged their audience,‚ÄĚ he reminds us. ‚ÄúThe wealthy elitism of the climate movement was on full display during the recent Extinction Rebellion shutdown of central London. During the ‚Äėrebellion,‚Äô leisure rich dilettante hippies partied in London, creating commuter misery for people who have...
Jim, Donald J. Trump won the Republican nomination for president, and Hillary Clinton won the Democratic nomination. At that point there were no Christian candidates with a viable chance of winning the Oval Office. Instead, there was a choice between a candidate who might actually help the country (Mr. Trump) and one who would without doubt hasten the demise of the United States (Mrs. Clinton). Of course you had the option of throwing away your vote on a write-in candidate with absolutely no chance of winning. At any rate, Jim, Trump is the president, so put on your big-boy pants and accept reality. And since you are so politically brilliant and such a phenomenal Christian yourself, go ahead and throw your hat in the ring for 2020. I can hardly wait to see how many votes you get.
In a way, the climate alarmists are correct. This world and everything familiar to us as a Fallen people will soon enough pass away. And there will be climatic or environmental disasters as a part of those final years. But it will not be because we didn't pull together as the human race to save the world from ourselves. It was too late when Adam and Eve sinned. There is a solution...the Lord Jesus Christ...and in and thru Him this world will be remade, freed from its groaning. Our efforts are meaningless in the long run. Yes, the end may well be near. Let us cling to faith in Christ as it draws nearer each second.
Not an excuse to trash the good Creation God gave us to manage.
There is one really major difference, Australian Christians knew that they were voting for a most likely Christian in Morrison‚Ěó American evangelicals should have had no doubt that they were not voting for a Christian, oh, but voted for Trump, anyway.

Electorates that swung hardest to the Liberal and National parties on a two-party preferred basis had a higher share of voters on low incomes, with low educational attainment, and higher levels of unemployment.
"Low income, low education and Christian religion were all features of electorates which swung to the Coalition," says Professor Ben Phillips, an economic modelling specialist from the ANU.
"The share of blue-collar workers in the electorate was a particularly strong driver," he says, with a 61 per cent correlation with electorates that swung to the Coalition....
In sharp contrast, wealthy electorates with higher incomes swung Labor's way....

"""Penn State climatologist Michael Mann, creator of the fraudulent ‚ÄúHockey Stick‚ÄĚ chart, lamented in a ThinkProgress post: ‚ÄúWe have lost Australia for now. A coalition of a small number of bad actors now threaten the survivability of our species""
The end is nigh!!!
The fact that weather changes tells us that the human species is not going to survive!!!
What utter baloney.
And these are our greatest scientific minds??
Calling themselves wise - They became fools!
The prophecy of Romans is true.
In Australia the hoi polio are voting the wrong way and upsetting politicians and predictions AND the media. Isn't that terrible.
If politicians were to be honest, it might help their cause. The people aren't stupid; well, you get my drift.
Here in the UK we voted on Thursday for our 70+ Members of the European Parliament. But because some Europeans voted later, we cannot hear our result till late on tonight. Wouldn't it be funny if the Brexit Party took a clean sweep! Oh, I should laugh my head off.
