Undercover video reveals brutal treatment of Falun Gong prisoners inside Chinese labor camps
A California family is taking their fight to the Chinese government after they say their loved one was tortured and killed inside of a Chinese labor camp nearly 20 years ago, simply for supporting the spiritual meditation practice known as Falun Gong. Now, never before seen undercover video given to FOX 11 is revealing what life is like for political prisoners inside of those Chinese labor camps.
In 1999, the Chinese government ordered the eradication Falun Gong, calling it a ‚Äúheretical‚ÄĚ organization that threatened social stability.
The communist government began arresting and imprisoning hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners, and shipped them to labor camps where they were to be ‚Äúre-educated‚ÄĚ....
Falun Gong:- "literally, "Dharma Wheel Practice" or "Law Wheel Practice") is a Chinese religious spiritual practice that combines meditation and qigong exercises with a moral philosophy centered on the tenets of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. The practice emphasizes morality and the cultivation of virtue, and identifies as a qigong practice of the Buddhist school, though its teachings also incorporate elements drawn from Taoist traditions. Through moral rectitude and the practice of meditation, practitioners of Falun Gong aspire to eliminate attachments, and ultimately to achieve spiritual enlightenment."
This must have upset the Communists because it wasn't from their Little Red Book of instructions.
By the sound of it, they were an innocuous if credulous bunch of people whose only crime was to embrace a philosophy which did not follow Big Brother Commie despot.
The communists in China are attacking the local Christians today for the same reasons.
It is a sad comment upon communist partisan indoctrinated people that they demonstrate complete fear of other philosophies. Thus do they seek to annihilate them in the erroneous convictions that this will bring all people under one umbrella.
Now remember, I have very poor comprehension skills. I think that all of God’s children are different and the circumstances under which we come are different in every case. The thing IMO that must be present to a certain degree is an understanding of who God is, who we are and what Christ did on the cross. Christ gives us that knowledge and once we see it, it is impossible to reject. It is completely illogical to truly understand what God promises us and reject it.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
I think the above refers to the promises of God that come and go in our lives because of our sinful natures. In my life, the reality of those verses have often come and gone. But, that is simply because of my sin nature. The Lord and His promises never change.
If I have misunderstood, please try again. It won't be your fault.
‚ÄúHim that cometh‚ÄĚ to Jesus for salvation gets salvation, whether he comes by irresistible grace or by his own free will. The invitation (‚ÄúCome unto me‚ÄĚ) and the response to the invitation determine whether a person spends eternity in heaven or in hell; I think we spend far too much time debating the mechanics of the response, and far too little obeying our Lord‚Äôs command to extend the invitation ((Revelation 22:17).

Bro Stranger and Alien, what think ye? A sinner is on the verge of coming to Christ for the forgiveness of his sins and the gift of eternal life, and a good witness might show him the promise of Christ to him, that he never turns anyone away when they come to him; that there is a reception from the Son of God, as he said elsewhere, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
But the sinner will never fully understand the text. It may be enough to help him overcome his reticence, seeing there is hope in the gospel despite his sins and guilt. Those who imagine themselves "beyond the pale" could take heart at such a promise.
But I am also thinking that a child of God can appropriate the promise, having better grasp of the content and meaning of such a text; that no matter how low a believer might get, even to such a pitch of thinking himself lost through failure or sin, yet can come to Christ and renew himself, knowing full acceptance and forgiveness, and peace again.

Same thing you are saying except not nearly as eloquent. John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
It sums it up beautifully, Pilgrim. A wonderful text. And what a privilege to be among those who hear His voice.
And what a privilege to already be in possession of eternal life.

He sees the horribleness of sin, the horribleness of Satan, the horribleness of unrighteousness. He sees himself as full of horribleness and wants to change, he sees the consequences of his horribleness, he sees his enslavement to horribleness, and he wants to be free, free to serve the living and true God. If you wish, you can call it irresistible grace. That's what I call it.

Gay Allen Wrote: "Hey Christopher and everybody hows it going, good with God i hope, i am experiencing a bunch of problems irl, but now i have a better understanding and relationship with Our Father in heaven, He has been spanking me, i have been thanking Him, to the glory of God."
Hi Gay, sorry to hear about the personal issues, but I was glad to read the rest. The changes in you over the years have been remarkable, and I'm really glad that you keep looking up; trusting and depending more upon Him. Life has its travails, that's for sure, and being in Christ doesn't make it all go away. In fact, I'd say that our battles are increased, exponentially as we also have to battle this flesh, daily, once we begin anew.
Hang in there, because it's not forever. Our lives seem long and hard but they're just a little, tiny blip in the grand scheme, and releif is in sight.ūüėä
ok can you suggest a denomination that has not voted thusly? can anyone please tell me is there any denominations that keep to the scriptures and won't go social justice? im now completely confused about who allows what and i want coperate worship so dearly, thank you and God bless
lol, because i asked this on another news story and here i see Marty kind of debating this concept with a link

While Falun Gong isn't The Way, it seems to me that whenever any government persecutes any false religion or cult, it backfires on them. I think it causes the persecuted to dig in even deeper, because they come to believe, with even more ferver, that their way is/must be The Way, simply because of the hard persecution against them/it, so they're even willing to give up their lives for what they perceive as truth, that to them, the persecutors are confirming.
Reminds me of Christians who are in gross error. People come against them, and scorn them for this and that; trying to correct the error(s) they are promoting, but the backlash is received as being persecuted for Christ's sake, as living martyrs.
God provided His Living Word, for any and all; clear, concise, and simple...we will all be without excuse in the end, whether that means being in gross, scriptural error, dedicating ones life to gods or goddesses that never were, mother Earth; nature worship, or choosing to serve Satan himself...nobody will be able to claim ignorance, or being duped by some false teacher or prophet, etc. God made The Way, simple and clear, for any and all.
Matthew 7:23 ...And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Corey wrote: John, I call that heresy. Calvinism is from the pits of Hell.
Corey, we ought never to align ourself with another totally depraved sinner, even with John Calvin. Paul taught against that here:
1 Corinthians 3:3-9 KJV (3)  For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? (4)  For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? (5)  Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? (6)  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. (7)  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. (8)  Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. (9)  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
You will also notice that Corey can plant and water as much as he is able, but without God giving the increase, there will nothing of eternal significance happening. You cannot dictate to God whom he will save. He has mercy on whom he will have mercy.
I don't like the idea of enforced religion change, it's not real, and never of God.
