Manufactured Racial Tension and No Whites Allowed “Listening Sessions” at Wake Forest
Wake Forest University, a private institution in North Carolina, is set to hold a series of “listening sessions” aimed at advancing diversity “inclusion” efforts at the school. Unfortunately, the ideas of Caucasians are not welcome at these events.

An e-mail, obtained by The College Fix, sent to faculty and staff at the university by Dean Michele Gillespie explained, “Dear faculty and staff colleagues, this is a reminder about our upcoming listening sessions on inclusion that I am holding for faculty and staff of color over the next several weeks.”

The e-mail gave specifics for the upcoming listening sessions: ...

Yes, those who were converted in their tender years have a lot to be thankful for. Some of them imagine they have missed out on so much, having little experience in the world, but they have been fortunate, as living in the world leaves a multitude of scars and wounds, which will never fully heal until death and the heavenly entry. I was 26 yrs of age when the Lord salvaged me from self-destruction, and I'm very grateful. So I agree with your text, most apt. And the Welsh do still sing the great hymns of faith, but without any understanding of the words. Tragic.

Doc, God is able, for sure. But I no longer believe he is willing. Europe is given over to its hearts' desire. However, I'm willing to be surprised.

Sounds like you gave it your best shot, John. If the mountain will not come to John UK, John UK must go to the mountain.

Thank Fred, and thanks for sharing. The country of Wales has known great revivals in the past, which is why there were so many chapels built here, even in really out of the way places. But, as you say, time shows how difficult it is to maintain spirituality, and many of the chapels declined because they became man-centred instead of Jesus-centred, and one by one their lights have been going out and buildings sold, usually for a home conversion. Every week, church buildings are being sold, and very few people care about it.

I was actually converted in 1979, when the Lord Jesus visited me in my flat in Rugby, England, and his Spirit troubled me with deep conviction of sin, to such a degree that I wept with fear of what was coming on me, a grievous sinner. It took a while before I received assurance of salvation as it is in Ephesians 1:13-14.

The Lord bless you too, Fred.

Lord bless with your ministry and evanglism John Lee UK.

I read with interest considering what the Lord has done on your journey and given some curiosity for the faith of those in the homeland of my mother's family from Wales.

I was raised RCC given my mom married a Catholic (both born again late in life) and they agreed at the time to raise me in that Catholic tradition. Yet I often wonder what role some early influence a Welsh Baptist Church in our PA coal mining city had that I sometimes visited for family events like baptisms. It was there that I was given Hurlbut's Study of the Bible that I became introduced His story. I learned enough to never be drawn to statues or some of the other false doctrines that takes ones eye off of Christ and that we only heard snippets of Scripture during a mass.

Sadly, that Welsh Baptist eventually focused too much on culture and their witness became very dulled over the years and they had to unite with another similar congregation to keep the doors open.

Uh oh, I appear to have posted one chapter of the story in this thread by mistake. Sorry folks. Put it down to poor eyesight.

Anyway, to conclude, I tried my best to join a half-decent outfit, and went to four other churches, two in England and two in Wales, which meant a lot of travelling and moving. It is a good job I'm so poor that I have few possessions and can move in a decent size saloon car with space to spare.

However, my last church I was at for six years and submitted myself to the elder, which is why I never did any evangelism as such. I was willing, but he obviously wasn't. But it had to come to an end, because I must appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ and give an account, and the Lord tells me to evangelise. So....

But now I am happy. I am just a disciple of Jesus, and I belong to the Picton Fellowship, where I am looked upon as the pastor, or elder, or leader, even though I keep saying that I am just a disciple, and that Jesus is the Head of the church. The church is blossoming and thriving and is focussing its evangelism in an Asian country. We will still do some tracting here, but much of the Welsh dust has been shaken off our feet.

That's it. Questions answered. Thank you.

@John Lee, sorry to hear about that, it sounds like you’re seeking the right thing as far as desiring membership, submission, etc. I’ll be praying for you.

Good to hear you’re evangelizing in the midst of this.

So the new pastor was settling in, and enrolling members, which meant that they could attend communion. He started with the smartly dressed middle class Christians, and when it came to what I thought might be my turn, there was no interview, no nothing.

I left it up to him, and the months rolled by. He and the elder did permit me communion, even though I was not a member of any church, so they went against their own rules to accommodate me. I was handing out tracts in the town, talking to people, and inviting them to church.

But after about 18 months had passed, I felt there was something wrong. I desired membership and submission, but nothing was happening. One Sunday I asked the pastor why, and he said it was something 'the woman' had said concerning me. Eh?

So I asked the pastor for a formal meeting in his office, with the elder also, and we held that meeting. I asked him what 'the woman' had said, that prevented him from receiving me as a member, and he would not say anything. I said that there was something wrong here, and he as pastor needed to hear both sides. But he would not tell me.

So I said to him. "Well I am living under a most awful cloud here, and suspected of something awful, so here is my ultimatum..."

I have a friend in the Church I attend and we both agree that things may change for the worse because of the new president. So far our pastor still holds to old school. thinking and has been in a series of sermons upholding these values. He put a guardrail next to the pulpit and an ambulance to the importance of warnings and rescue when people don’t heed the warnings, go through the guardrail and needs rescuing by the churches. He has not shied away from preaching in a calm way but firmly.

They are representing the current trend in all of federal and state governments in the US. After the Universities and technocrats destroy our nation, will they welcome the Chinese Communists with open arms like some poor African nation while the PRC builds their roads, bridges and takes their natural resources and become the new slave owners of the world?

Wake Forest separated physically from its seminary some years ago and moved to Winston-salem. No one from the Old North State whom I know would consider WF a Christian university any more than they would consider Duke (it was Trinity when my grandfather graduated) a Christian university. Key points are that big money lured them away from their roots years and years ago now. And that money turned into the root of all evil.

What's interesting to me is how this is happening in the Piedmont where most of the Progressives seem to be concentrated as associated with education or government. By controlling key thought and culture influencers for what is otherwise a fairly conservative state, they are able to push forward a Progressive agenda. Same thing is happening in other Southern states which have tended to hold closer to Christian influenced values.

What in the world is going on with the Baptist school administrators losing their backbones, first Liberty (Independent Baptist), Baylor and now Wake Forest (both SBC)?

I don't think the Reformed Baptists or Free Presbyterians would be intimidated by leftists making dubious accusations of politically incorrect micro-agressions.

I wonder if the alumni would make any more contributions to this college (or any other) if they knew just how liberal they were.
It doesn't seem to matter if the college can produce a good football or basketball team, and the NFL draft just adds to the following.

Yes, our world is full of inconsistencies and hypocrisy. The powers to be that are setting these standards cannot be moved by simple logic. I know you are very knowledgeable regarding creationism and evolution, so you will agree with this point. If satan can convince anyone that evolution is true, then he can convince them of literally anything.

The e-mail gave specifics for the upcoming listening sessions:

For faculty/staff who identify as faculty/staff of color: Monday, April 22 at 4:00pm in ZSR room 476 (we will be joined by Associate Dean Erica Still).

For faculty/staff who identify as faculty/staff of color: Thursday, May 2 at 11:00am in ZSR 476 (we will be joined by Associate Dean Erica Still).

For staff who identify as staff of color ONLY: Monday, May 6 at 4:00pm in ZSR room 477.

So, no white folks allowed.

The above is from the article. For some time now society has pretty much tried to blame all the ills of society on white men and white men only. An example is most people have never even heard the term “misandry”, but misogyny is quite common.

On question I would ask the promoters of this event was what happens if a white male identifies himself as being black? If a man can say he is a woman, then why not a different race?
