Roof collapses at Paris' Notre Dame Cathedral as massive fire rages
The roof of Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral collapsed as a massive fire ripped through the structure on Monday, days before Easter.
Firefighters at the scene say all efforts are being directed towards saving the artwork stored at the back of the cathedral, which had been undergoing renovations and preventing the collapse of its northern tower.
As of Monday afternoon, the spire of the cathedral had fallen, and the fire had spread to one of its iconic rectangular towers. Firefighters may not be able to save the cathedral, according to a French Interior Ministry official....
It appears it depends on where a pagan temple is located before it gets a lot of money, and people don't count for anything no matter where they're located
Good look at the billionaires of France and perhaps they have a lot in common with billionaires in other parts of the world too?❗️

It seems Albert Mohler is mourning the 'history' lost due to this fire -https://pulpitandpen.org/2019/04/16/al-mohler-says-reformers-would-mourn-the-loss-of-notre-dame-john-calvin-disagrees/. From the article comes this quote from Mohler, "Indeed, the Protestant Reformers themselves would have mourned the loss of this great cathedral—a symbol of the Christianity they sought to reform." These famous, influential 'evangelicals' like Mohler and the late Billy Graham are ecumenical tools in the hands of Satan leading the deluded back to the mother church.
From that same article, this quote from John Calvin, "I come now to monstrous impieties, which it is strange they ventured to utter, and twice strange that all men did not protest against with the utmost detestation. It is right to expose this frantic and flagitious extravagance, and thereby deprive the worship of images of that gloss of antiquity in which Papists seek to deck it (Institutes 1:11.16)." Seems Mr. Mohler is very much deluded if he thinks the Reformers agree with his evil mindset.

It has to be the spookiest religion in the world, bro. Thanks for sharing those scriptures, especially about what the Lord said about carcases. It just shows how superstitious many people are, falling for such nonsense, and they will not have the Bible, which reveals all.

2 Kings 18:4 He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
Ezekiel 43:7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, [neither] they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places. 9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

Acts 19:26-28 You see and hear that not at Ephesus alone, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are no gods that are made with hands. Not only is there danger that this our trade come into disrepute, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be counted as nothing and her majesty destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worships.” When they heard this they were filled with anger, and cried out, saying, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”

Yes, to see the Pagan Temple burn, from a historical viewpoint.
Sad that a historical landmark is burned with so much art. It’s relevance is it was an 850 year old Christian landmark. But typical French, most likely it was caused by a aceyltene torch left unattended. But this is the country that couldn’t get a princess cut out of a car after 9 hours of thinking, drinking exspresso, smoking Giatanes and scratching their heads because they couldn’t find the door or the door handle.
One of the relics they claimed to have was the real crown of thorns that was set atop Christ's head...yeah, right.
I heard some Roman Catholics bewailing the loss yesterday, and by bewailing, I mean blubbering to the point that they couldn't speak or catch their breath. The loss of Notre Dame reminded me of when Pope John Paul II died, and the reaction of the "faithful".
Fun fact if some didn't catch it: Notre Dame was built using 52acres of timber, and the enormous beams used were from trees now extinct.
1 Corinthians 3:11-13 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble, each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
Sounds like the French taxpayer is going to have to help rebuild it. It should only be done with contributions from Catholics. The fire should make people think of the above verses anyway.
