Nigeria genocide: 9 more, including children, killed
Nine more people have been killed and more homes have been destroyed as Fulani violence in Nigeria’s troubling Kaduna state has seen the death of dozens upon dozens of Christians in the last few weeks.

Kaduna Gov. Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai confirmed that the latest attack occurred on Saturday morning in the Sanga local government area of the Kaduna state, which lies in the northern part of Nigeria’s Middle Belt.

“The security agencies have so far recovered nine corpses, including children,” El-Rufai said in a statement. ”The attackers also burnt several houses in the village. The government condemns this attack on the lives and security of citizens and appeals to our communities to resist those who do not want peace.” ...

Tried to respond last night but internet dropped...

I imagine any effort to reach the Fulani would be very quiet to protect the idenities of those missionaries engaged. I need to remember to pray that these people would be reached for Christ and for those thus engaged.

QC, I don’t know off-hand of any missionaries dealing specifically with the Fulanis, but our church does support two missionaries to Nigeria and I hope the violent tribesmen are not altogether off the radar for the missionaries. Many American missionaries went to Japan after World War II (our church also helps support three missionaries to Japan), but these missionaries didn’t go to work until the enemy was pounded into submission. Sometimes you have to fight ‘em before you can feed ‘em.

Sure, Dr. Tim, but didn't the rest of Israel have to turn a blind eye to kidnapping so that the remaining Benjamites might have wives and remain a tribe in Israel? Not sure that is behaving, or behaving well anyway.

Fast forward to today, does anyone know what missionary efforts are attempting to reach the Fulani people for Christ? Are any of these called to the Lord?

Easy to fix. Kill Fulanis till there are none left or until the few who remain agree to behave. It worked with the Benjamites.

How deep is the level of depravity, and what is it that's missing within anyone who is capable of torturing, raping, mutilating, and murdering, helpless little children? Outright murder is the case here, but even so, they are often hacked to death, even mere babys, and pregnant mothers. I can't imagine being capable of such things, and in this case, over what? Farmland, and wanting the limited resources for themselves? Shooting and hacking up innocent people, and familys, and then having a beer with your buddies later on to laugh it all up, and trade storys, and then being able to sleep soundly that night is beyond understanding.
