Mosque shooting erodes New Zealand reputation for safety, tolerance
A deadly mass shooting at two mosques in New Zealand during Friday prayers has horrified residents of the South Pacific nation known for its low levels of gun violence and a reputation for tolerance and safety.
Forty nine people were killed and more than 20 seriously wounded in the attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand Police Commissioner Mike Bush said.
Video footage widely circulated on social media, apparently taken by a gunman and posted online live as the attack unfolded, showed him driving to one mosque, entering it and shooting randomly at people inside....

I really liked that, and earlier on, you actually convicted me of something. I've never looked into witnessing to Muslims, and the best way to go about it, while taking all that they believe into consideration. I think I'll do just that.. thanks.

Just Days Ago, My Brother In Christ, Bob S., Taught The Wednesday Night Bible Study At Ravenswood Baptist Church, Chicago, IL On The Subject: Leading 'Muslims' To Christ.
I've Had The Opportunity Of Witnessing To 'Muslims' In My Many Years Of Being A True King James Holy Bible Born-Again Christian-Catholic & Must Say That Winning 'Muslims' To Christ Is No Different Than Winning Spiritually Lost Roman-"Catholics", Eastern-Orthodox-"Christians", "Jews" &-Or Other Unregenerate-Religionists To The True Holy Bible's Jesus Christ.
In Fact, After True Holy Bible/Biblical Salvation/Regeneration & When I Was Weaned On The King James Holy Bible/Holy-Writ/Scripture[s] & The Writings Of European/American Puritans & "Great-Awakening" Revivalists Like Edwards, Mather, Tennent, C-Wesley, Whitefield & Etc.;
I'd Pray Something Like The Following Prayer Before Going Out Evangelizing/Soulwinning In My Neighborhood:
"Lord Jesus: Please Bring Me To Those Whom You've Chosen Unto Salvation Before The Foundation Of The World; That, I May Be Enjoined With The/Your Holy Ghost/Spirit In Bringing Their Predestinated Eternal Salvation To Full-Completion/Total-Fruition. Amen."
The unsaved has only this life to enjoy, since the afterlife will be nothing but misery. This of course makes it even sadder when they are killed. Oh, and it should be pointed out:

The gunman well certainly not have an afterlife to look forward to either. He's as anti-christian as they come

I was thinking the same thing. Apparently none of them were believers (they wouldn't be worshipping in a mosque). But hopefully some good will come out of it. Maybe some family members will come to know the Lord...
So sad to consider how all of those adults who were murdered today, are lost for all eternity. Tragic. Not a single one of them headed out the door today, thinking, or knowing that this day would be their last.
We never think it's gonna be us, because bad things only happen to other people. The people who lost their lives today had the very same mindset. We need to make sure we're ready, and right with God, every minute of every day, because we may not make it to the next minute, hour, or day.
The Reuters News story that SA used was interesting in that it gave some details that we're not in some others, e.g., from New Zealand:
To quote the Reuters article:
'[P.M.] Ardern said New Zealand was a not a target because it was a safe harbour for those who hate, condoned racism, or because it was an enclave for extremism.
'"We were chosen for the very fact we are none of these things, because we represent diversity, kindness, compassion, a home for those who share our values, refuge for those who need it," she told reporters. "And those values, I assure, will not and cannot be shaken by this attack." '
