Hispanic pastors praise Trump for work on border security
A group of Hispanic pastors praised President Donald Trump for his work on border security and pushing to build his controversial wall at a meeting at the White House Friday, as the New York billionaire touted a recent poll showing his growing support among Latinos.
âThey have tremendous congregations of pastors and ministers anywhere in this country. And theyâve been talking to me for a long period of time. And you probably saw we went up 19 percent â I saw that just a little while â with the Hispanic population. Part of it is the jobs because theyâre doing record-setting jobs right now. But part of it is what we talk about â the wall and security,â Trump said in his meeting with the group.
Waco pastor Ramiro Pena delivered a letter he said was endorsed by 150 Hispanic evangelical leaders expressing thanks for the presidentâs âgood faith effortsâ to work with Democrats on border security....

Include these religious leftist totalitarians among those sympathetic to the Democrats' latest Pathetic People, "migrants" (Newspeak for illegals): http://jesuits.org/news-detail?tn=news-20190124111303
On the other hand, I think there is at least some Catholic support for Trump, as not everyone aligns with the pope and bishops. Fox News is an example. We must admit that much of the misery in Central America was started by American meddling generations ago, in the name of anti-Communism. Latin Americans have good reason to fear CIA mischief; our Secret Agents can't seem to leave them alone.
It is now clear that Progressives are simply Communist Roaders (I'm borrowing Mao's label for Deng Xiaoping). We are embracing the economic system we spent billions combating.
I hope the Rulers of the Democrat Party have seen this. Their media already has, since this news item is from The Christian Post, not affected by The Party, and of course, not read by many except for Opposition Research. I wonder if this is the same effect as Brazil's new President Bolsonaro has had in evangelical churches there.
In the US, I would bet most mainline denominations--Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Episcopalians, etc---are mostly Democrat-filled, and all other churches are in favor of President Donald Trump. Thus, if you check out the websites for those mainline churches, they will be concerned about the immigrants, and have plenty of verses from the Bible that support their position. They won't mention what you know is happening in Portland, Maine, where the immigrants from the Middle East are 'taking over' all the spaces usually reserved for the native-born homeless, and then 'graduate' to jobs in the govt social service bureaucracy, where they then get elected on a city council seat. Here comes another Muslim member of the House of Representatives!
Wow, a highly complimentary article about Trump from The Hillâ đ

President Trumpâs pro-growth policies have had a disproportionately positive impact on Hispanics because they are more entrepreneurial than the general population. Hispanics start businesses at a faster rate than any other ethnic group. Since 2007, the number of Latino-owned businesses has grown by nearly 50 percent, nearly double the rate of all other ethnic groups combined. By a far higher margin than the general public, Hispanics believe that you can get ahead by hard work, according to Pew polling....
