Recent Spate of Biblical Plagues Has Experts Wondering If More Are On The Way
More than any of the plagues that followed, the sight of crimson water has become deeply embedded in the collective unconscious and is readily associated with the Exodus. Although Pharoah’s necromancers were able to duplicate Aaron’s feat, the sight of the Nile-God turning to blood gave the Egyptians a taste of things to come.
Earlier this month, several cases of rivers turning blood-red were reported in different spots around the world, kicking off the New Year with Exodus aspirations.
Last year ended with hail showing up in unexpected locations. Saudi Arabia was hit by baseball-sized ice balls, covering the sandy deserts. A short but intense hailstorm is Swaziland, South Africa killed a herd of cows. But even more shocking was the Biblical mixture of fire and ice that struck in Australia as ice storms were accompanied by lightning that set of bush fires....

I will agree that Revelation 8:7 is said to refer to Old Testament type plagues. especially looking at Jamieson, Fawcett, and Brown commentary for that verse.
Of course I will also agree that we are getting a preview of some of the things are going to happen in the times of Tribulation, which should make all present day Christians happy that they won't be there

2 Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness, looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.
I think I won't give you a link DF but let you find the link to it,for yourself.
The Old Testament plagues are not going to be repeated, there'll be a whole new set of fresh ones ‚ĚóūüĒ•
Australia may be getting a preview with their heatwave.
Interesting news, but I doubt it has made the mainstream news or newspapers in the USA (I leave that to our King of Links, "Jim" of Nebraska, to find out) The ice-ball sized hail in Saudi Arabia is one thing I never heard of. But the fires in California, Hurricanes Irma and Michael in Florida, Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico (are they a state yet?), sure make you think 'The End is Near' It reminds me of Dr. Harold Camping, owner of Family Radio Network, who had predicted Jesus would come back in 2012 (May 20, I think). Well, Jesus did not come back then, but he did come for Dr. Harold Camping, who died a couple years ago. Same thing with Billy Graham, though I don't think he was into predicting Jesus' return as much as Camping. No matter, he died before Jesus came back!

Hi Dolores..."itching ears"...itching to hear what they want to hear, and to seek out just the right people whose views fall in line with their own, regardless of what scripture has to say on a matter. Therein lies the problem within Christendom as well, and why the supposed, "One body", is fractured, and split into all kinds of pieces, and each of those pieces is "The Way", according to them.
Yes...how exciting is right. I'm amazed every day to see the end of days unfolding right before our very eyes. Up until just the past several years, we may have seen glimpses of this and that, because the processes that need to fall into place for the end results to occur were subtle. Now though, we see the puzzle pieces coming together; giving us a glimpse at the bigger picture, and it's no longer subtle, but right, smack in our faces, and it's unmistakable. Always exciting to see the accuracy of God's Word, perfect, from its beginning to its very end...not surprising, but exciting.
Interesting Christopher, even if they aren’t listening others around the globe are. That’s why they have itching ears and seek out the teachers that will say things that keep them from God’s truths. We are living in the last days and how exciting to watch these things unfold.
The rest of the article is very interesting, as far as things that have happened, globally, and when compared to warnings, and events in the Bible. As one example:
"They covered the face of the whole land, so that the land was darkened, and they ate all the plants in the land and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Not a green thing remained, neither tree nor plant of the field, through all the land of Egypt. (Exodus 10:15)"
Just last week Saudi Arabia suffered a massive infestation of bugs, most notably locusts. In a case of divine irony, the bugs arrived in time for the weekly Torah reading that described their role in the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt. Though many natural causes were blamed for the insects’ appearance, images of the floor of the Great Mosque in Mecca covered in dead locusts evoked Biblical connotations.
