Two New Studies Claim Putin Put Trump in the White House. Credible? Not!
The first study — entitled “The IRA, Social Media and Political Polarization in the United States 2012-2018” — was conducted by by the Oxford University Computational Propaganda Project and Graphika and funded by the usual suspect in big tech, big media, big government, and the big liberal tax-exempt foundations. Financiers include AOL, Google, BBC World Service Trust, eHarmony, Virgin Media, the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), National Institutes of Health, British Telecommunications, UNESCO, and the Rockefeller Foundation. The study’s report was prepared for the Senate Intelligence Committee.
The committee — led by Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) and ranking Democrat Mark Warner (D-Va.) — has been probing allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign / administration and Russia since President Trump took office. According to the Washington Post, lawmakers said the...

No end to myth, Jim? The leftist president of Russia did all he could to interfere with left leaning candidate Clinton, just so she could lose? Meanwhile Russia pays Bill Clinton hundreds of thousands for making a speech in Russia. Short memories seem to be a problem for revisionist mythmakers.
By the way, Clinton lost, with good reason. Totally unfit for the White House. Check out some of those who were unfortunate enough to have to work with her. If you can, answer this- did the Russians change your vote?
Wikipedia wrote: The Russian government interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election with the goal of harming the campaign of Hillary Clinton, boosting the candidacy of Donald Trump, and increasing political or social discord in the United States. Russia's covert activities were first publicly disclosed by members of the United States Congress on September 22, 2016, confirmed by the United States Intelligence Community on October 7, 2016, and further detailed by the Director of National Intelligence office three months later. According to U.S. intelligence agencies, the operation was ordered directly by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Former FBI director Robert Mueller led the Special Counsel investigation into the interference from May 2017 to March 2019....

The obvious bromance between Trump and Putin is entirely unhealthy in itself, but see the Wikipedia article for more information. In fact you don't really have to listen to RC Shields and Brooks, because of URL that I have in that particular message, includes the transcript of the the Shields and Brooks discussion, which is well worth seeing, listening to, or readingâť—đź‘Ť

Judy Woodruff: Let's start by talking about that phone call that we learned about this afternoon, Mark, the president on the phone, over an hour, with Russia's President Vladimir Putin. We are told the president himself said they talked about Russian interference or alleged interference in the 2016 election, but completely dismissed it.
He said the two of them agreed that the Mueller report was a waste of time, in so many words, and that the whole Russian — belief that the Russians did anything wrong was a hoax. .... Mark Shields: ...ignoring the findings of the CIA, of the NSA, of the intelligence agency the Center for National Intelligence, Senator, former Ambassador Dan Coats, all of the American agencies, including General Jim Mattis, the secretary of defense, and Secretary — now Secretary Pompeo, Mike Pompeo, when he was CIA director.
All concluded that Russia had interfered. But when asked by Kristen Welker today, did you talk about meddling on the part of Russia, he accused — the president accused the NBC correspondent of being rude by asking such a question.
So that's where we are. [ ]

Jim Lincoln, I respect your opinions of President Trump. However, the fact that to try to prove your point you quote something by Mr. George Will is quite strange. Strange because Mr. George Will is comparing Trumps 2016 campaign to that of Henry Wallace's 1948 campaign. Jim, let me tell you that for me, Mr. Henry Wallace is one of America's forgotten heroes. And he should be for you as well. Mr. Wallace was one of the few politicians of his time to have the courage to speak out against the emerging cold war and arms race with the USSR. Do you know that he was a strong advocate of labour unions, national health insurance and equal rights for women? Do you know he was way a head of his time in that he was against racial segregation? Oh, by the way, you want to know why FDR set him aside as VP in favor of Harry Truman? Because he caved in to the demands of not only the conservative wing of his party but also the SEGREGATIONIST WING. One final thing, it should come as no surprise that Putin prefered Trump as President. Hillary made it clear that if elected, she was going to be tough on Russia.
Wow, Jim! And to think they did all that to defeat the squeaky clean Hillary, who is as pure as the driven snow and never did anyone wrong in her whole entire life. Peel another onion and maybe I’ll shed a tear.

He strikes a deal with the future politician, in which he will bottle up any negative information about him and, even better, circulate and amplify negative stories and conspiracy theories about the candidate’s political opponents.
To help foster the deal, the candidate’s lawyer sets up creative workarounds to hide payments related to that help. When asked about it, all sides deny any arrangement. All of this is done with the aim of influencing the US presidential election.
That’s the exact situation we now know occurred during the 2016 election between President Donald Trump and the publisher of the National Enquirer tabloid magazine....

Jim, I for one don't need Putin's influence to not trust the news media and haven't for almost 25 years. Trying to blame Putin for the impacts of post-modernism and nihilism in Western society is like blaming the man in the moon for too much rain on Tuesday.
Isaiah 59 simply continues to apply, not because of Putin, but because of our rejecting the Lord and any semblence of objective truth.

“What Putin was trying to do was to show that everyone’s lying, everyone’s cheating. There is no objective truth. And there is no difference between what you hear from western media, and what you hear in, say, Russia’s media,” former Deputy National Security Advisor Antony Blinken tells FRONTLINE. “That was the line — and he became increasingly successful in blurring it for people, including in the United States and the West.”

Vladimir Putin went door-to-door in several states urging people to vote for Trump. He also made millions of robo calls for DJT and placed several Trump infomercials on HSN and Fox News. Vlad was hoping to stiff Hillary for all the uranium she let him have. Besides, he said if Barack could meddle with Israel’s elections, folks should get a chance to meddle with ours.
There are also new studies that still support evolution, gravity created the universe and a person can be born into the wrong gender of body. I have one fact book ,it's never in error ,it's the Word of God.
Why should anyone complain about so-called liberal views on the Putin Trump bromance, when you have a Pulitzer prize-winning conservative making an accurate observation of this love affair?
