A federal judge in Texas struck down the Affordable Care Act on Friday night, ruling that former President Barack Obama's signature domestic legislation has fallen down like a losing game of "Jenga."
But the White House said that with the ruling expected to be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, the law will remain in place for now.
U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor in Fort Worth sided with the argument put forward by a coalition of Republican-leaning states, led by Texas, that Obamacare could no longer stand now that there's no penalty for Americans who don't buy insurance....
Reuters wrote: .... ‚ÄúIf this awful ruling is upheld in the higher courts, it will be a disaster for tens of millions of American families, especially for people with pre-existing conditions,‚ÄĚ Schumer said in a statement.
In June, the Justice Department partially sided with the Republican state attorneys general, agreeing that the individual mandate must be struck down as unconstitutional but arguing several other provisions could survive.

Trump said he wanted to replace Obamacare with something better than Obamacare in the above story, well as he pointed out there is something better in an earlier story

I'm not sure how this turns back the clock fully, but hopeful that "universal healthcare" doesn't become "universal death care" for the chronic infirm or anyone else not deemed suitable.
In contrast, the Lord makes no mistakes nor does He leave those of us who are His adopted children a minute longer than He thinks we should stay. When we let the Lord be in charge, these problems lessen.
