'VeggieTales' is 'racist' and 'dangerous' for children, California students claim
A group of students at a California college’s “Annual Whiteness Forum” labeled the Christian children’s cartoon “VeggieTales” as “dangerous” and promoting racial stereotypes for making the villains colored.
The forum at Cal State San Marcos is a project from Professor Dreama Moon’s class titled “The Communication of Whiteness.” Students called various things racist, including the NFL, women who support President Trump, and the popular animated cartoon that started in 1993 and always ended with Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber’s tagline, “Remember kids, God made you special and he loves you very much,” the College Fix reported.
A female student made the claim that by humanizing vegetables, the creators of VeggieTales were using the children’s programming to promote racial stereotypes by making the villains racial minorities....
BTW, what is truly racist is the concept, title and doctrine of a college course called “The Communication of Whiteness.” All you have to do to verify this is to substitute one word: blackness, yellowness or redness. NO, and I do mean no, American college would tolerate such a course for a second. While the liberals celebrate every other racial, ethnic and religious group, they vilify whites, men and Christians. News flash, liberal dimwits: White males have done more to establish, build and strengthen America than all other groups combined. If you would occasionally read one of those strange, old-fashioned objects known as books you would see that this is true, even if it does irritate you to death—which of course I hope it does.
My goats only eat carrots if they are braised and sprinkled with thyme. They would much rather have asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. But they would skip the veggies altogether for black cherry ice cream and pizza with Canadian bacon.
Their song about the "hole in the bottom of the sea" is really fun. Check it out on YouTube. As far as entertainment goes, I think veggie tales can definitely cause theological confusion among children. As for being racist, I think in these days, anything that smells of Christianity is bound to be labeled racist or bigoted in some way or the other. It's just the default. The only race of veggies I've seen is when one puts a carrot in front of a bunch of horse (or goats in Tim's case). And then of course there's the race cars that run off of ethanol (which is just veggies once removed).
The NFL racist? Only 28% of its players are white. There is also a rule which states that whenever a team is in search of a new coach at least one of the candidates that it interviews must be a non-white minority.
Soon these door-knobs will be attacking sports. Pool for instance. A white ball controls all the colors. How about soccer, baseball, golf? All white balls getting the attention. I guess bowling will be the choice for sports in an anti-white world. Ugh...
My favorite VT episode was where the fish swallowed Jonah. That was the best rendition of the story I have ever seen. Yes it was a cartoon, but so? I like cartoons. Always have always will. And yes, I am white. God made me that way, and I am proud to be what God made me.
And Mr. Magoo is an affront to whatever politically correct term they’re calling handicapped folks this week. I suppose that next they’ll ban the Flintstones lest some primitive people groups be offended.

Hi 1517...I hope you've been doing good.
Such ridiculousness. I try real hard not to comment on these particular topics, because it's difficult to mention mere facts without someone interpreting them as bigotry, but sometimes I can't help myself.
The present climate is just ridiculous, all-around, whether it be political, racial, this outrageous PC nonsense, trans inclusion and acceptance trash, or everyone running scared because someone's feelings might get hurt, along with the, #metoo movement which brings down any man, personally, professionally, and financially, with a mere, unsubstantiated claim of sexual impropriety.
Crazy, and out of whack times to be alive in to actually be a witness to. How many whites have grouped up to set their sites on, and expose any, and every perceived thing or imagined sleight that they feel qualifies as bigotry, and would those things even be taken seriously, or would they, themselves be called out for being ridiculous, acting childish, and reproofed for inciting conflict, or whatever?
No need to respond, just thinking/complaining out loud...
“When supremacists aim to taint the way children think of people of color, it will work,” the poster titled “Children in the Church” reads."
This present climate, whites this, racist that, and the over-the-top PC nonsense, is beyond disgusting and sickening. Just who is keeping racial hatred, and suspicion alive??? I don't hear about any anti-black groups on college campuses, or self-appointed think tanks of concerned white citizens who are stirring things up, and reading into every little thing they see and hear so they can scream about bigotry, and imagined sleights. Sure, the ignorant exist on both sides, even though there shouldn't be sides, but the ignorant are the ones keeping racial hate and bigotry alive...the very ones who are screaming foul. Ridiculous. The liberals and the snowflakes buy into it all, but everyone else is like, "huh?...What is this?...What's going on here?...What in the world is wrong with you people?"
