Franklin Graham: Trump defends the Christian faith
Evangelist leader Franklin Graham said he is an outspoken supporter of President Trump because he defends the Christian faith.
"Now people say 'Well Frank but how can you defend him, when he's lived such a sordid life?' " Graham said on "Axios on HBO," appearing to reference things such as the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against the president.
Trump has repeatedly denied any inappropriate conduct.
"I never said he was the best example of the Christian faith. He defends the faith. And I appreciate that very much."
SC; Your 1 ST take on the Abortion issue, definitely has strong merit to it, that responsibility rest upon the person who choose to follow through with death & murder with in the womb. Over life or choosing adoption. But with twisting & coercing are a common thread & tactics that Planned Parenthood, will use. & friends & love ones, taking one to the Murder Mill. But Jim by his own doings here on SA, he has exposed himself, that the fruit he is producing & baring is bad fruit. By God through His Word that is written on ones heart & mind, as they have a conscience of knowing right from wrong. As one is held accountable for their sins of omission & comission, Rom 1:18-32, Rom 2:14-15! Since Jim likes to promote another gospel of Marxist Socialism through another Jesus is that okay, SC?; Gal 1:6-9!
Since Jim is in favor of Abortion, I think that the Lord speak another notion to what Jim is supporting & justifying; Pro 6:12-19, Pro 8:35-36!
Who said one has disdain towards Jim, I donât, other brethren of the faith in here, have been loving & gracious towards Jim. I hope & pray for him, that God would have mercy on Him, by removing his spiritual heart of stone away. The He would experience reconciliation through & in Christ Alone amen.
Nobody is twisting or coercing dark skinned mothers to abort. They do so because of their sinful nature just as fair skinned women. Why is Jim the object of so much disdain? He must be hitting a nerve? We are new creatures in Christ. While we may not be sinless, we don't follow a pattern of sin as we did when we were lost. It goes against the desires of our new heart.
JC Ryle; I have had a deep conviction for many years, that practical holiness & entire self-consecration to God arenât sufficiently attended to by modern Christians in this country. Politics, or controversy, or party-spirit, or worldliness, have eaten out the heart of vital piety in too many of us. The subject of personal godliness has fallen sadly into the background. The standard of Christian living has become painfully low in many quarters. The immense importance of "adorning the doctrine of God our Savior" (Titus 2:10), &!making it lovely & beautiful by our daily habits & tempers, has been far too much overlooked.
Worldly people sometimes complain with reason that "religious" people, so-called, arenât so amiable & unselfish & good-natured, as others who make no profession of religion. Yet sanctification, in its place &!proportion, is quite as important as justification. Sound Protestant & Evangelical doctrine is useless, if it isnât accompanied by a holy life. Itâs worse then useless; it does positive harm. Itâs despised by keen-sighted & shrewd men of the world, as an unreal &!hollow thing, & brings religion into contempt. Itâs my firm impression that we need a thorough revival of Scriptural holiness & I am deeply thankful that attention is being directed to the point.
Jim; Whatâs your longest streak in your own life that you have been able to go without telling a lie? Or blasphemy God Name as saying OMG, or using His Name in a ill referent way, that dishonores His Holy & Sinless character? How many times in your lifetime Jim, have you lusted in your own heart & mind in looking at another person in a lustful way?; Mat 5:27:28! Rev 21:8!
Jim Your Worldview exposes you as a hypocrite, & a foolish man like Jesus talks about in Mat 7:24-27!
For Jim doesnât think & support by action that All lives matters, starting with in the Womb. Regardless of ones; Size, Level of Development, Environment & Degree of Dependency.
For every two African American women that get pregnant one will choose to abort. A Black baby is 5 times more likely to be killed in the womb than a White Baby.
Statistics from The Alan Guttmaucher Institute
"Frankly I had thought that at that time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don't want to have too many of."
7/2/09 Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
The most dangerous place for an African American to be is in the womb of their African American mother.
Hey Foc, in case you didnât know, Jimbo is retired. He is more than likely older than Frank who, btw, aided Bell in the invention of the telephone and showed he was way ahead of his time by inventing the internet. Too bad there wasnât any computer s at the time
Amen, Connor7. President Trump is, in fact, the sitting president so I guess he must then be on the hot seat. His opponents are forgotten...but not by everyone.
How long has it taken for the impact of 9/11 to pass by? I have often stated that the ends do not justify the means, as we are not responsible for the ends but only the means, but there was ample reason to go to war to defend the US, and the rest of the world, from a very dangerous Islamic group. I do not believe that Iraq as a whole was as big of a mistake as some others, and the truth of all that may eventually come to light.
Meanwhile, things could have been very different here if the Democrats had taken the Presidency in 2016. We wouldn't be having this conversation. Instead, we would be talking about the Progressives using force to silence Christians and Biblical concepts, possessing a mandate from the urbanized areas to march forward into that glorious illicit sex-saturated socialist state. We're not too far off from that as it goes. And praise the Lord that President Trump is at least holding things off at least in some areas at least for a while.
Iâm not saying that Trump has the salvation nor moral life of the apostles, I think a lot of people are fed up with the Democrats & their âsolutionsâ that they certainly wouldnât vote for Hillary.
You seem to always go after Trump, but why donât you go after Hillary & the Democrats that want to force people to support abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, sex education, white racism, etc.
Donât you realize that the left what to usher totalitarianism? Donât you realize that in order to do that they must silence Christians? Have you taken a gander at Canada?
Oy vey Jim, Iâm sick & tired of you trying to make everything about politics, even doing so over articles that mention someoneâs death.
And no one can try to reason with you because you lack the ability to have a rational conversation.
Why in the world is everyone making race a huge issue, apparently itâs moral value to be a racist towards white people, Jim your cute little article is nothing but hot air,
I would be shocked if the author supports abortion because abortion has racial roots. When more black babies are being slaughtered than white babies. Oh what hypocrisy.
I have found Christians who have condemned torture, so it looks like the author is a poor researcher, maybe he couldâve called the following people:
Jonny Mac Albert Molher Derek Thomas Sinclair Furgeson James White John Piper Etc.
Jim why donât you mention that Democrats are becoming socialists, why donât you mention the fact that the 1925 Scopes Trial has been used to mock and misrepresent Christians, why donât you mention the racism of the author, why donât you mention the mocking attitude towards Christians that the author has, why donât you mention the clear bias that the author has?
Jim, Iâm sure glad Cindy Hyde-Smith is going back to Washington to help Mr. Trump make America great again. BTW, why donât you go get a job while you still can? You know itâs possible that a Democrat may win the presidency next time, and then there wonât be any jobs, only food stamps. Oh, I forgotâliberals donât want to work. They just want to sit on their sorry behinds and cry about how unfair it is for people who do work to have stuff they donât have.

I get it, and instead of reacting, and being "sure" of what you meant, I should have asked. I should have followed the same advice I've given others, cuz I know better. I'm glad I didn't put you off to the point that you never came back...whew, so let's hit the re-start button. đ
You're quite amusing again, Timothy, Trump, has a done a lot more harm than good to this country as had many of the so-called evangelicals who support him.
Randall Balmer wrote: ...the price of evangelicalsâ betrayal of their biblical commitments was fearsome. When Reagan rejigged the tax codes to favor the wealthy, most evangelicals fell silent, despite the biblical warnings against the corruptions of wealth and injunctions to care for the indigent. When George W. Bush launched two vanity wars that would not meet even the barest criteria for just warfare, criteria honed by Christian thinkers over centuries, evangelicals, with rare exceptions, registered no objections and even cheered the invasions. When I was writing âThy Kingdom Comeâ during the second term of George W. Bushâs presidency, I searched in vain for a single religious-right organization willing to condemn the use of torture.
Today, evangelical contributions to the political landscape are more removed from biblical principles than ever, with Donald Trump, ...
