Pro-Lifers Score Big Wins With Amendments in West Virginia, Alabama; Lose in Oregon
Voters in Alabama and West Virginia approved amendments to their state constitutions on Tuesday that reject the claim that abortion is a right. A government funding of abortion measure lost in Oregon, however.
The Alabama State Abortion Policy Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, passed with the support of nearly 60 percent of voters.
"... it is the public policy of this state to recognize and support the sanctity of unborn life and the rights of unborn children, most importantly the right to life in all manners and measures appropriate and lawful; and to provide that the constitution of this state does not protect the right to abortion or require the funding of abortion," read Amendment 2....
Homeschool dad there is no proof to support Jim’s theory. The number of women who listed lack of prenatal care as the reason for their abortion in the extensive survey of those who had an abortion was ZERO. Jim doesn’t let facts influence his thinking when it comes to so called UHC
I think after many months of trying to figure out what you are arguing for regarding health care and abortion, it seems like you want to make a tie between Medicaid funding of pre-natal and birthing and the number/rate of children killed in the womb. The issue, it seems that you are arguing, is that more babies are killed because their moms can't afford to give birth. Is that the case? If so, what evidence do you have to prove your point? And, is there not a place for the church or ministry to step in instead of the government?

Well Jim, how about the below to control unwanted pregnancies?
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Exodus 20:13 - Thou shalt not kill.
Genesis 9:6 - Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
