Kids and screens: The battle for children's brains
But the truth will out. It always does.

And progressives have a problem. The troops are cracking up, breaking ranks, looking with horror at the Frankenstein monster they’ve brought to life. Sometimes in their own homes. And it’s no love fest.

I’ll let the New York Times put it bluntly: “I am convinced the devil lives in our phones and is wreaking havoc on our children.”

So says Athena Chavarria, who worked as an executive assistant at Facebook and is now at Mark Zuckerberg’s philanthropic arm, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. ...

Smartphone has both positive and negative effect on child brain. But I take in positive way. Because of smartphone or technology they are updated about the world. and so many education tools are there which helped them in learning and writing.

Smartphones have a bad effect on vision, on the psyche of a child, on hearing. I agree that it is worth limiting the time with a smartphone.

I don't know about brain effects, an endless debate, but smart phones are truly dangerous when people using them don't watch where they're going. That's where brain damage can happen.

Traditional public libraries are definitely overrated; their collections are dumbed down to suit the mob. You need the Internet to find any classics or worthwhile reads.

You know, I partially agree with the above information that smartphones have a negative effect on the brains of our children.
But agree, there are many advantages of such technology development.
For example, the use of educational applications can help in the development of a child. The main thing is not to believe the description and the reviews, but to check everything in practice.
Also, students are offered to use their gadget in the classroom to search for information, watch videos. This is a great time saver, unlike going to the library.
There is also a huge advantage of video training, various online services that offer distance learning.
