Another Kavanaugh accuser admits to fabricating story
One of Justice Brett M. Kavanaughâs accusers admitted this week that she made up her lurid tale of a backseat car rape, saying it âwas a tacticâ to try to derail the judgeâs confirmation to the Supreme Court.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Judiciary Committee revealed the fraud in a letter to the FBI and Justice Department Friday, asking them to prosecute Judy Munro-Leighton for lying to and obstructing Congress.
Mr. Grassley said Ms. Munro-Leighton is a left-wing activist who hijacked another âJane Doeâ anonymous report about a backseat rape and claimed it as her own story, calling it a âvicious assault.â
âI am Jane Doe from Oceanside CA â Kavanaugh raped me,â Ms. Munro-Leighton wrote in an Oct. 3 email claiming to have been a victim of the judge....
Is it a display of âjudicial temperamentâ to twist, bend, distort and ignore the Constitution in order to cram a progressive agenda down the throats of the majority of Americans? If so, the Democrats on the Supreme Court are absolute paragons of judicial temperament.
Kavanaugh, was emotional because he was so angry at the lies being told on him and the hurt done to his family. I would have been very worried had he not reacted the way he did. I disbelieved the professor from the beginning. There were so many red flags going up as she talked, that only a Democrat would be slow enough mentally to believe her.Come to think of it, even they didnât believe her story, just used it with all the other smoke and mirror tactics they had to confuse and deceive.

Perhaps he's just putting on an act, like P.T. Barnum â a "marketer, con, snake-oil salesman who knows better, knows how to get the rubes into the tent." Or maybe, Kaplan suggested, Trump is just "completely unconstrained by logic, rules, tradition, truth, law."
"I'm confused," he said, "whether the whole fact-free zone that he's in is a strategic calculation or a kind of psychosis."
Jim, you like to keep us updated on how many lies President Trump has allegedly told, but what about the whoppers that gushed out of Hillaryâs filthy mouth and the mouth of Pinocchio Obama? If Trump had a brick for every lie they told, he could build TWO walls.
No, Chris GP, I would show a lot more enthusiasm if they had picked a conservative Protestant or Jew Brett Kavenaugh, in case you haven't noticed is not a Christian! When he was a hot issue, which I don't consider him to be, I pointed out that I agreed with such people as David Brooks a Republican, that the party the wins the election has a right to pick judges.

Judicial temperament is one of the most important qualities of a judge. As the Congressional Research Service explains, a judge requires âa personality that is even-handed, unbiased, impartial, courteous yet firm, and dedicated to a process, not a result.â The concern for judicial temperament dates back to our founding; in Federalist 78, titled âJudges as Guardians of the Constitution,â Alexander Hamilton expressed the need for âthe integrity and moderation of the judiciaryâ...
at the Senate hearings on Sept. 27, Judge Brett Kavanaugh displayed a lack of judicial temperament that would be disqualifying for any court, and certainly for elevation to the highest court of this land....

Hillary showed dignity and grace? Seriously? Thatâs like saying â well, Satan was calm and cool when he tempted Jesus and showed dignity, Grace, style and wisdom ...â Unbelievable that a disciple of Christ would make a statement like that.! No pass here, brother
The difference, Jim, is that Mrs. Clinton has no relationship with truth nor had a personal stake in the findings. Judge Kavanaugh did have a very personal stake, in that he very well could have lost his family. Mrs. Clinton lacked a family to lose. And her family was not threatened. Besides, she lacks any moral fiber and being accused of crimes and misdemeanors doesn't impact someone like that as it would an honest man.
No, Mr Lincoln, I guess if Justice Kavanaugh had been an activist leftist judge, and had undergone the same accusations, you would have supported him.
What happened to Justice Kavanaugh was nothing short of a brutal plot to make sure that he was not confirmed because the abortionists and Planned Parenthood did not want an anti-abortion judge on the Supreme Court. The attack on him was planned, coordinated and directed at every stage by the leftists and pro-abortionists.
The case against him has collapsed, and it was based on what we would call in my country, slander, lies and perjury. Slander is a civil offence against the law, but perjury is actually a criminal offence. Lies is a spiritual offence and a breach of the 10 Commandments .
These false accusers who are now admitting they lied, should be prosecuted, and those who aided them in their slander should be sued for millions.
Mr Lincoln, have you no compassion for this man, and most particularly for his wife and his daughters? Donât compare him with that dreadful woman, Hilary Clinton. That is disgraceful.
Jim Lincoln wrote: QC, many people testified before congressional committees who were treated just as roughly or more so and for longer period of time and didn't have the emotional reaction that Brett Kavanaugh didâ In fact I would almost would have thought that he had taking some liquid courage from his behavior. I certainly would hope that wasn't the case. But Republicans could have picked someone who had the same beliefs and probably better qualifications to be on the Supreme Court.
I take it you
1. are not married and don't have children
Somebody drags your family through the mud and threatens their safety with false accusations, makes you out to be a sexual predator, a liar, a hypocrite, and basically scum and you think there shouldn't be any emotion in his response
2. You haven't had your character assassinated on public television
highly qualified judge was placed on the court when Kavanaugh was confirmed
Jim Lincoln wrote: QC, many people testified before congressional committees who were treated just as roughly or more so and for longer period of time and didn't have the emotional reaction that Brett Kavanaugh didâ
I am very familiar with difficult hearings and have even helped to prepare witnesses myself for Congressional hearings. I have never heard of this level of debauchery in personal attacks against his reputation and his family.
You must not be married or I think you would understand this a bit better. Another man who was accused of similar activities might be divorced as a result simply because his wife may think that there could be a grain of truth in those accusations somewhere.
A purported history of sexual assault may also make a father appear like a sexual predator toward his daughters. The reports of how children are handled by government investigators are horrendous.
If I were accused of similar acts, I would be hopping mad. Any husband and father who is not emotionally affected by such accusations is not likely worthy of such important offices of husband and father.
Honestly, Jim, I cannot fathom how you can defend these people and trash the victim. It is beyond my comprehension.
Jim, what was done to this man was a tremendous attack not only on his reputation but also on his family ties. Don't think those claims didn't raise question within his marriage about his fidelity and about the safety of his daughters. If I was falsely accused like Kavanaugh was and my family was threatened, I would be fighting mad as well. A "cry baby" doesn't stand up to bullies. Kavanaugh did. He has every right to pursue defamation suits against the DNC and each of his accusers and their attorneys. And let me add, Jim, that lying under oath is a criminal offense.
You may not like the outcome, but the rule of law needs to be respected, starting with God's law which directly prohibits this kind of "take down." Would you have been as outraged at the victim if the victim was a Progressive? I dare saw not based on your posts. I believe James reminds us to not be respecters of persons...and that goes for political beliefs as well as economic status.

Hey brother! I was so amazed by the outright lies told against Kavanaugh and the support they got from the progressives. What this lady did was a crime and she should be prosecuted.
I guess Jim forgot the "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor!
"" ... her lurid tale of a backseat car rape, saying it âwas a tacticâ to try to derail the judgeâs confirmation to the Supreme Court.""
I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised at a Party which supports baby killing and sodom and gomorrah agenda, are a bunch of liars and perjurers, people who use unscrupulous, fraudulent, or deceptive methods to influence the nation.
Voting for the 'Left' today [eg: the Democrats], is apparently an indication of being prepared to leave all moral standards in the gutter, to gain their ends regardless of truth.
This is a fallen world and this kind of behavior demonstrates that fact.
Proverbs 19:9 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish."
Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD:"
So what you are saving, then, Jim, is that justice is served when the accusers lie against the accused because they do not like him? How does that jive with "thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor?" You accuse your political adversaies of such but feel that it's OK when it's your side?
