Stephen Hawking claims 'no possibility' of God in last book
From his desk at Cambridge University and beyond, Stephen Hawking sent his mind spiraling into the deepest depths of black holes, radiating across the endless cosmos and swirling back billions of years to witness time's first breath. He viewed creation as a scientist, and when he was called to discuss creation's biggest puzzles â Where do we come from? What is our purpose? Are we alone? â he answered as a scientist, often to the chagrin of religious critics.
In Stephen Hawking's final book "Brief Answers to Big Questions," published Tuesday (Oct. 16) by Bantam Books, the professor begins a series of 10 intergalactic essays by addressing life's oldest and most religiously fraught question of all: Is there a God?
Hawking's answer â compiled from decades of prior interviews, essays and speeches with the help of his family, colleagues and the Steven Hawking Estate â should come as no surprise to...
Well, now he knows. Unfortunately it is too late for him. My understand is he had a wife who was a believer. They were divorced, but he did have the witness there. I am sad for anyone who dies and is going to be judged without the grace of God. For none of us could stand if we have to face the justice of God.
Atheism is only a temporary condition. Since to be a Atheists one has to have All knowledge, & a Atheists canât even tell you how many pieces of granule sand their is on the world beaches. Itâs Absurdity to think that, Time, Errosion & Wind, created Mount Rushmore.
Lovers of the world are much more afraid of losing their earthly substance, than they are of losing their immortal souls. (Nathaniel Vincent)
Mat 16:25-26 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mr. Hawkins & any other who rejected Christ, before their death & His Word. Where sure-pressers of His Truths, as one is held without any excuses, I didnât know; Rom 1:18-32!
All men already know Godâlong before the apologist engages them in conversationâ& canât avoid having such knowledge. People lack neither information nor evidence.. [A]ll men know that God exists. In a crucial sense, all men already are âbelieversââeven âunbelieversâ who willnât respond properly by openly professing & living obediently in accordance with the knowledge they have of God. I agree and these things make me ponder the following:
1 Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
""In life, Hawking was a vocal champion of the Big Bang theory â the idea that the universe began by exploding suddenly....""
In death he is still trying to figure out how he could have been so wrong!!!
Evolution: 1) First take a vacuum - where absolutely nothing can happen. 2) Then contrive to have a big bang? Which is impossible!! 3) Out of the bang comes life for example something as complicated as your neurological system.
Yeah sure ok!
Are you nuts?
Psalm 14 and 53 teaches that the atheist is a 'fool' Now who are we to argue with God?
Eph 4:17 .... as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:"
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
Steven Hawking...one of this planet's brightest minds. A mind which could see beyond the limitations of others, but was forever limited by his own intellect. He couldn't see past the natural, so there was nothing beyond the natural, in his mind, even though everything he saw, everything he researched, every amazing thing he discovered, explored, broke down and analyzed, worked out the math to, or peered at through a microscope, screamed a Creator, he remained perfectly blind...wilfully blind until he was no more.
Amazing to me that the brightest minds on planet Earth; the theoretical physicists, the astro-physicists, the molecular biologists, the neurosurgeons, the partical physicists, and pretty much any physical, biological, astro, or macro/micro-type science discipline, all see an evolved planet. They see an accident happening against all odds, and all life we see today, having evolved from that accident. Seems to me that these are the very people who would be the first to say, no way, to evolutionary theory, but instead, say, no way, to a Creator. Too smart for their own good, I guess, as anything they can't see, test, touch, quantify, and compute, is foolishness. Sad.
For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised, God has chosen, the things that are not, that He might nullify the things that are, that no man should boast before God. (1 Corinthians 1:26â29). Consider the simple fact of blood. God has put everything In itâs place for our survival. If we want food, water, air, gas, oil, etc, it is there in abundance.. but if we want blood, the only place it is available is a living being. And here is one certainty, we cannot find blood anywhere other than, not in the ground, not in the sea, not in the atmosphere, not on another planet. When the first man appeared on planet earth, he had enough blood to keep him alive. Had he met with an accident he would have bled to death, and the rest of the trillions who have lived since, would never have been, for without blood there cannot be life. Simple yet profound.

I agree with your comment. The one thing we know for sure is he now knows with certainty that there is a God!
I would say there is no possibility that there is no God.
Note the firm and persistent bias against young earth creation both by Hawkings and the news media.
