Franklin Graham shreds 'vile' media

“The New York Times published a slanderous, vile op-ed piece about Vice President Mike Pence. They were specifically attacking his faith, which really is an attack on all of us who believe in God and His Son, Jesus Christ,” he said.

“I am disappointed that the New York Times would stoop so low. I’ve never seen such hatred poured out against such a good man. Vice President Pence is a dedicated public servant who is doing an exemplary job for our nation. Attacks like this against him and the Lord that He serves should remind us all to keep him in our prayers because he not only represents our country, but all who hold a deep and sincere faith in God.

“Pray for Vice President Pence, his wife Karen, and their entire family, that God would put a hedge of protection around them.” ...

The "liberal" media is correct about Franklin Graham❗

NeedHin the early Christians did not try to reform the morality are the Roman empire.

Romans 8:7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.---ESV

The first job of a Christian is to bring the unbeliever to Christ not the bend them to Allah's morality

Peter Keller wrote:
Some of us don't find it necessary to try and find the "lesser of two evils"
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him ( 2 Cor. 5:18-21).
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen (MT 28:19, 20).

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (ROM 1:16).

Jim; Just showing you the worldview you embrace, I pray that God would soundly regenerate you with new life through spiritual adoption amen!

It’s impossible for a moral relativist to say that anything is wrong, including intolerance. If morals are relative only, then who are you to say that I should be tolerant? Perhaps my individual morality says intolerance is just fine. Why then, should I allow anyone to force tolerance on me as a virtue if my preference is intolerance? The truth is, a moral relativist cannot legitimately say that anything is wrong or truly evil, who is one to judge others then?

Jim; Your Jason Sattler write up quote, on what he said on Christians who support Trump & are pushing Morality onto others. So what, if one is pushing morality onto to others, if Truth is only subjected to relativism only! One is just being very judgmental & intolerant to accuse others, the very same thing of, if truth is only relative to one own opinion liking only. Your quote, liken to you is forcing your morality onto others, as you clearly embrace a relative worldview & mindset.

So basically Jim, if one doesn’t agree with you, you willn’t tolerate ones views. Privately, you’ll let one think whatever I want, but you don’t want me to act as if my view is true. It seems you think tolerance is a virtue if & only if people agree with you.

Good advice, Cora. The people who need help will not pay attention to pastors that support people like Trump

Jason Sattler wrote:
Since Donald Trump gave America’s kids the chance to learn about “Stormy Daniels,” his approval with self-identified white evangelical Protestants has risen 6%. Yes, amid a controversy about hush money to hide an affair involving a woman best known for performing in adult films, an alleged affair that took place just months after Trump’s third wife gave birth to their son, the president’s standing has actually improved with a group of voters who spent most of this century fretting about the sanctity of marriage.

The hypocrisy here is as obvious as Trump’s hundreds of conflicts of interests. American evangelicals, by and large, have decided that they can ignore Trump’s personal morality because they are getting something far more important in return — the chance to impose their personal morality on others.

And their role model for this devil’s deal is the evangelical who made the Trump presidency possible: Mike Pence.

“Trump’s got the populist nationalists,” said Steve Bannon, CEO of the Trump-Pence campaign in 2016. “But Pence is the base. Without Pence, you don’t win.”...

Are pastors doing the work of an evangelist; making full proof of their first ministry? Are they telling their followers that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places? E.g. Americans and their support of white nationalism?
It is time to meet racism head on from the pulpit to the cemetery.
It is time to speak the same thing about hatred and alienation from God.
There is no guarantee you will see your grandchildren grow up if we keep silent. Just because you have someone who appears to be looking out for your best interest is no reason for you not to look out for the eternal interest of souls.
We certainly don’t want to see our cities on fire again.
Speak out against pride and arrogance now! And always in the spirit of love.

So follow your own advice Jim, unless one experience Godly repentance, one will perish in their sin if they aren’t Born Again by the Lord alone amen!

Pro 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom & instruction.

Jer 17:5?Thus saith the Lord: “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man & maketh flesh his arm, & whose heart departeth from the Lord .

Jim; I stated nothing in my thread that I am a big fan of President Trump, or Franklin Graham. I never brought them up in my thread at all, until now. The President like any other fallen sinner, who is outside of Christ, is in dier need of tasting & experienceing Biblical reconciliation. From & in Christ Alone, as all sin is first vertically against Christ, before it affects the horizontal relationships, secondarily; PS 51:4.

Jim; Your actions on here clearly prove you are religious, bu ever so still spiritually dead in your trespasses & sins. As you haven’t been spiritually adopted through tasting & experiencing salvation being of the Lord alone; Jhn 1:12-13.

As your own words on here, are clearly reflective, you have a theology of Burger King, I will have it my own way!

In which is reflective of Pro 14:12, You have a way that seems right in our own way, but in true reality, it’s a way of utter destruction amen!

If you ever want to see what a Neo-Evangelical is, I believe Michael Gerson is it. He made some good points in the following, however
Michael Gerson wrote: good work in the world through relief organizations such as World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse (an admirable relief organization of which Franklin Graham is the president and CEO). They perform countless acts of love and compassion that make local communities more just and generous.

All of this is arguably a strong foundation for evangelical recovery. But it would be a mistake to regard the problem as limited to a few irresponsible leaders. Those leaders represent a clear majority of the movement, which remains the most loyal element of the Trump coalition. Evangelicals are broadly eager to act as Trump’s shield and sword. They are his army of enablers....

Evangelical leaders such as Jerry Falwell Jr. and Franklin Graham followed Trump’s lead in supporting Roy Moore’s Senate candidacy in Alabama, despite multiple accusations of sexual misconduct against him...

Frankie Graham is a non-Christian who runs a good relief agency.

Jim; A good reminder for you is that you need to examine yourself with the microscope of God’s Holy, life changing word, & n’t from abroad either. As you like to look at your own sins & excuses you make to promote another gospel through another Jesus, through a non-Biblical Orthodox Worldview, as you constantly stay at telescope distances. Viewing your own areas of deception you are currently enslaved to.

Without a personal yearning, & understanding, that is reflective in ones life. That we are called to be Holy, as He was Holy. As my only hope of ever experiencing reconciliation can only come from Christ Alone. As one will die in a state of rebellion against Christ, if one doesn't experience reconciliation into ones own life, as one isn’t born into a state of neutrality towards Christ amen.

Franklin Graham and Pence share the same faith; a name it claim it and culturally conservative faith that picks and chooses what to obey from God’s word and believe in practicing what is referred to as the greater good concept. Both have sold themselves to this world. If anyone can give credence to Trump’s faith, then what faith do they have? Here is what Paul thought of the greater good concept:

Romans 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

The moral changes we have seen from Trump/Pence are simply to appease their base. IOW, nothing of significance has changed in the way our government heeds God’s word; abortion, homosexuality, greed and feminism are still striving.

Franklin Graham is simply a religious hireling.
