Burma: 60 Churches Bombed or Burned
Members of the interfaith tolerance group gathered in Washington, DC on Tuesday to detail the plight of the Rohingya, and to warn that the Kachin also face potential ethnic cleansing.

Roberts said he was alarmed to learn that the same Burmese military units that have burned villages, and have raped and killed Rohingya ethnics in Rakhine State, are now on patrol in the Kachin State.

"When you radicalize and you create such violence among soldiers that have been raping and murdering, you just don't turn that switch off," he said. ...

In Britain, Buddhist cultural and meditation centres, monasteries and temples are opening up all over the place, including old churches, and in one East Midlands city I used to live in some years ago, right opposite the Anglican cathedral there.

Some of these places even use mansions and country houses out in the country, some even have their own farms, strictly vegetarian restaurants and gardens.

Other Buddhist groups that do not have their own building, hire public halls for their meetings and meditation sessions, some secular, but many from such apostate groups as the Quakers, or the church hall of liberal mainstream Protestant churches.

However, the peculiar thing about most of these Buddhist groups, is that while they may have Sri Lankan, Burmese, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Tibetan or other Oriental teachers and leaders, most if their active members and devotees are British or European!!!

How ironic that the Buddhists are violent! This goes against the image carefully crafted in the mainstream media of them as peaceful guys who meditate a lot. Mindfulness is very popular today, and there are secular books that purport to say that 'Buddhism is right.'
Years ago there were reports in other news media, especially NHK's Newsroom Tokyo program, of battles going on between the different sects of Buddhism, in Thailand or Burma.
This also gives the lie to the commonly stated idea, 'all religions are like different roads leading to the same mountain top' or 'all religions have the same basic foundation of love'

"Buddhism in Myanmar is predominantly of the Theravada tradition, practised by 88% of the country's population. It is the most religious Buddhist country in terms of the proportion of monks in the population and proportion of income spent on religion." (Wiki)

Apparently Buddhists are scared of Christ and His followers.

GOD predicted:-
2Tim 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

1Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified."
