Vienna Government Will Close Mosques and Expel Imams

It may not be the Battle of Vienna, but it sure has the Turks up in arms: Battling jihadism, Austria’s government plans to shut down seven mosques and expel 60 Turkish-funded imams.

As Bloomberg reports:

Austria's government said Friday that it is closing seven mosques and plans to expel imams in a crackdown on ‚Äúpolitical Islam‚ÄĚ and foreign financing of religious groups.

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the government is shutting a hardline Turkish nationalist mosque in Vienna and dissolving a group called the Arab Religious Community that runs six mosques. ...

why is it that as so many nations gain their will to ignore the globalist marxists and find their will to survive, that the SBC is collapsing itself into globalism as we speak?

there has always been a joke about how they cater to the times but decades after the others.

well the others are already coming out of progressive government policies that have destroyed the family while leaders like david platt are just now discovering liberation theology... its like the millenials are going back to 1965. I couldn't believe a generation could so reverse itself and become so archaic so quickly.

for they must not have confidence in the scriptures and the Holy Spirit to transform lives...

we've had 50 years of "reparations" called "welfare", has utterly destroyed communities.

those who do ministry know this and consider your "philanthropic" position to be more of the liberal poisoning that already ruined the neighborhoods we would like to see healed.

SBC, you are at a juncture, they have set up their ideology well... if you dare speak against their "secondary issues" they will call you a bigot, etc...

victimization sure is good for soros type money, for unifying with islm, etc...

..."come out of her my people"

Ever notice that "imams" is an anagram for "maims"? Muslims murder, mutilate and maim innocent people every day.

"Chris G P of England" has already stated what i was thinking--next, they will come for the churches, but then..wait a minute...what churches? Europe's churches are mostly museums, not posing a threat to anyone. I guess the lesson there is that, the longer the exposure, the less effective it becomes. In the USA, we see the same dead-ness in New England, the home of the Puritans, and in upstate New York, the cradle of aberrations like the Mormons and Millerites (Jehovah's Witnesses).

Tragically, at the same time, ‚ÄúChristian‚ÄĚ churches offering traditional services, have only a few elderly people attending, while the newer ‚Äúmega churches‚ÄĚ are full of a transitory crowd of young people, but they are only full because they have no solid preaching, and lots of entertainment!!!

However, there are still some faithful small assembles, and the odd larger church, where the Gospel is faithfully preached, and the worship is reverent and centred on the glory of God.

It certainly sounds as if Austria, and also its next door neighbour Hungary, are both on the right track.

Sadly, here in Britain, we do not have the same resolve, political correctness is everywhere, and mosques are springing up all over the place.

First a couple of houses are strung together in a kind of house mosque, then a community centre is hired or even outright purchased, and then maybe an old factory canteen, or even an old church, especially the later.

Over time the building is rebuilt while still being used as an active mosque, and sometimes a brand new mosque will be constructed.

Meanwhile overflows on Friday lunchtimes, and at other special times like Ramadan, carpets will sometimes be baud it’s in the street outside for the overflow.
