Younger Evangelicals Waver in Support for Israel
Growing up in evangelical Christian churches, Caleb Fitzpatrick learned quickly to be a steadfast supporter of Israel. From a young age, Mr. Fitzpatrick said, he was taught that Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, “was a hero” and that “Christians are supposed to back Israel on everything.”

But the Tampa, Fla., native, who just finished his junior year at Liberty University, an evangelical school, has become critical of Israel for what he says is its mistreatment of Palestinians.

“Human rights is a core issue to me,” Mr. Fitzpatrick, 21, said. “It’s less important to me who has dominion over the northern part of historical Israel.” ...

I wonder where the world is going?

"Many Israelis complain about the failures of their country’s public diplomacy. Why is it so difficult to explain what most Israelis see as normal behavior of a state fighting terrorism and abysmal hatred?

Yet it is not easy to make the case for Israel in Europe. There is ingrained antisemitism at all levels of European society. Europe has never been a friendly host for Jews, who for centuries suffered prejudice, discrimination, pogroms, expulsions and finally the worst of all – genocide.

Moreover, as the memory of the Holocaust fades, traditional antisemitism that turns into anti-Israel attitudes is no longer politically incorrect.

Unfortunately, Europe was not successful in purging itself of the antisemitic malaise. The Muslim immigration only added another layer of antisemitism. A Jew wearing a kipah, or displaying a Magen David is not safe on the streets of most West European capitals. It is a shame that Jewish institutions need to be guarded by the local police.

Another angle that places Israel is an unfavorable light for many Europeans is the correct perception of Israel as an American ally. The gap between Europe and the US is gradually widening, particularly since Donald Trump became President." (jpost.com)

They said my goats were sometimes pressing six or seven keys at each stroke and jamming up the system. It seems like technology would be able to compensate for this by now.

They did follow up email to make sure everything was doing okay and the problem was resolved. In my opinion they went over and above to resolve the issue and always with grace. These are very fine people. So, please don't fault them, their moderators or say that someone supposedly got you kicked off the site. I know from experience it is frustrating but they will take the time to help resolve the issue.

SA would deny anything I'm sure and say the problem was on my end. There's no rhyme or reason to ban me or anyone unless they are being abusive or a spammer. I'm neither. It's just the reality of living in an age of political correctness.

I doubt it, Chris. More likely a case of the following.
And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. (1 Timothy 5:13)

I was just stopping by to insult you, but looked it up first, and I guess the plural of the noun, gibe, is jibes. Who knew...well done.
Because I'm so proud of you, I'll let go of the fact that an "s" used in apologize is typically used outside of North America, but then again, you mountain folk are really without a country anyway, and just squatting here on planet Earth. Go home, E.T.

Well I'm real glad we're communicating again, brother. You'll find some on the forum won't even call you brother because of your doctrine. However, it is the new birth which unites every believer in the body of Christ, and it is good to have good relations with each other on earth, despite holding different views on scripture.

BTW, thanks for your encouragement in evangelism!

I meant to say that appx. 430 AFTER the promise was given to Abraham, which stiff-necked did not embrace, laws were given to them to bring them to Christ.

About sacrifices. They will never return to them. It is an impossibility for many reasons you'll have to think about.

I also will apologise to you for the way I mishandled your jibes. Note to self,

"Must do better."

The Mosaic law was in perfect in that we will not obey it. So yes, the New is far better. However, the other covenants and promises don't pertain to salvation and don't affect the New covenant by remaining in place. For instance, God promised Noah that He would no longer destroy the whole world with water again. It is still in place and doesn't affect any of the other covenants. Of course, the New is my favorite and the most important. I will grant you that.
Quite agree with that, John. God made certain promises which are still in force, such as, "the soul that sinneth shall die," for another example.

The gospel was first mentioned in..

Genesis 3:15 KJV
(15)  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Many people see Christ and the devil in that verse, hence the new covenant beginning to be revealed to mankind.

Hebrews 2:14 KJV
(14)  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Only the new covenant can do that.

They need not waiver but be certain that those in Israel and elsewhere proclaiming to be “God’s people” are not God’s people. God does not have two peoples. Abraham was given a promise that flows down to God’s people of likewise faith.

There were Judaizers before Paul’s day. Not all Judaizers were/are Jews. They are responsible for the book of Esther and the Aprocrypha. Examine closely the criteria used for including or excluding books from the Canon. Somehow an exception is made for Esther. The same exception is made for today’s middle-eastern Israel. But there is no BLOOD of any kind. There are no feasts, etc. Some say “they’ll come back to fulfilling God’s requirement, even though Jesus sat down after finishing redemption’s work. (Personally, I do not believe 66 books were of the canon.)

Every person of every kindred has to present BLOOD to be of God.

430 years before Christ, stiff-necked “Jews” were given a law to bring them to the same faith believers share with Abraham. But they are proud still and deceived even more by many who will not tell them the same thing Jesus told them. “If you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”

Israel wants only the land and power. They do not want to perform the OT requirements of them.
