Royal Wedding Pastor Michael Curry Is Pro-Gay Marriage

Christians across the globe were inspired by Bishop Michael Curry’s message about love during the royal wedding Saturday, but many of those same Christians then debated whether his views on gay marriage and LGBT issues should matter.

In 2015 he was installed as presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, becoming the first African-American leader of the predominately white denomination. But before that, as a bishop in North Carolina, he was “one of the first to allow same-sex marriages to be performed in churches there,” The Washington Post reported.

When the Anglican Communion penalized the Episcopal Church for its stance on gay marriage, Curry drew parallels between the struggles of African Americans and of those in the LBGT community.

Robin Self (@triplejaymom), wrote, “For those praising Bishop Michael Curry for bringing the royals ‘to church,’ as a bishop in the Episcopal church, he is pro ...

Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

While Jesus didn't say it, I doubt He'd contradict His Father.

This "great man" sanctions abominations.

In essence, the United States’s peculiar private-based health-care system exists at least in part because of the country’s commitment to maintaining racial hierarchies. The results were deep racial disparities in almost every major disease, an enduring gap in lifespans and mortality, and the creation of entirely separate medical and public-health infrastructures....

I take it that you are not familiar with the 8th and 9th commandment. (you will find them in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 plus repeated in the New Testament)

Liberalism tells so many lies it would hard to know where to start (all the LBTQ issues they say are normal and good would be a good start) but let us look at universal healthcare.

You can keep your doctor

You can keep you plan

It will save you $2500 a year

It is not a tax it is a penalty

Death panels don't exist

(recent headline in UK Guardian "Londoner denied NHS cancer care: 'It's like I'm being left to die'" and of course the child that died and wasn't allowed to leave country for treatment)

I would also bring to your attention that sister ladybug has repeatedly shown you Scriptures against universal healthcare.

I'm reading a good book that I think every Calvinist would love, it is called, "A Biblical - Theological Introduction to the Old Testament, the Gospel Promised" it is edited by Miles V. Van Pelt, and it's a fantastic book, it's about 400+ pages.

It affirms the literal interpretation of Genesis, and it deals with the issues regarding, "Did the author of the Pentateuch borrow from pagan religion?"

There's a book for the NT, it's called, "A Biblical - Theological Introduction to the New Testament" it's edited by Michael Kruger, it's about 400+ pages as well.

Jim;
You're absolutely correct Jim.
I imagine you've also noticed that FaceBook and YouTube are not mentioned either.
Weird huh??

As for the Episcopalian "preacher?"
The problem is not in the contents of his "sermon" per se - It is in the fact that he is one of Satan's Liberals.
Since Liberals are like the Pharisees and the Roman Catholics and the JW's the problem here is in the fact that his ideology is always going to be from Satan and sin.

BTW The other "preacher" was the Archbishop of the satanic Liberal Anglican "church?" so his contribution to the church will be just as effective as the Pharisees and Papists etc.

God does not use the pseudo christian religious reprobates to preach or to build the truth witness in society.
That is the real problem with Curry and Welby.

Many have a 'god' that only has one attribute --- love. This is another branch of arminian heresy, that God 'loves' everyone. We see in His word He loved Jacob and hated Esau, we see that He will have mercy on whom He will.
The verse trotted out is 'God so loved the 'world'. IF God loved every person ever born, why would He allow them to perish in their sins and pour out eternal wrath on them? What kind of love is that?

The message found throughout the bible is a command to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. There's no mention by any of the Apostles as they preached the whole counsel that God 'loved' those they spoke to. The Gospel message isn't that God loves, it's that Christ has made atonement for the vile sins of all who believe.

We love Him because He first loved us - 'we' and 'us' refer to believers, not the entire world.

The God of the bible is first and foremost thrice holy, pure, undefiled. He cannot 'love' that which is detestable.
"The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity." Psalm 5:5
Who are the 'workers of iniquity' that God hates? All who are in darkness and love that darkness, who hate God and prove their hatred by their sinful ways.

The ecumenical 'god' is all love, no wrath, and demands no repentanc

Sue, is there good fruit that can come from a bad tree? Is the sincere "I love you" of a practicing homosexual the same sincere "I love you" of a sinner saved by Christ? We all know "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul & mind; and love your neighbor as yourself". The homosexual says "See! This is validation that we can LOVE who we want because LOVE trumps all!" The Christian sinner, however, knows that true love, not man-made love, even if it is sincere, can come from anywhere other than the Author & Perfector of our faith, Jesus Christ. The sinner is capable of a type of love, but it is ultimatley in vain.

Psalm 1:1 "How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked or take the path of sinners or join a group of mockers!"

Jude 20-23 "But you, dear friends, as you build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the LOVE of God, expecting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life. Have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; have mercy on others but with fear, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh." That is a wonderful message of love, wouldn't you agree?

It should be remembered that more than one or two sins are condemned in the Bible

Matthew 5:32
But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Matthew 5:32
But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

1 Timothy 1:9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, 10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,---ESV

Strange, Frank and Adriel, I don't see Universal Health Care or liberalism listen in the Bible as sins. Greed however certainly is❗

1 Corinthians 5:11
But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. ---ESV

From reading the comments, it would appear that most writers seemed to have missed the point of Rev Curry's message. It wasn't about LGBT or abortion or divorce, nor did he even express his views. He had the opportunity to reach millions of people across the world and his message was about love, both God's love and our love for mankind. How often does the Christian world get an opportunity to reach so many Christians and unbelievers alike?? It saddens me to see so many people take away from the point of his message.
Sue, here is a good piece of advice. If the majority of Christians have seen something different than you, then you might want to ponder your position instead of saying they were wrong.

2 Cor. 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

This pastor is not in Christ, therefore he belongs to satan.

The apostate Anglican/Episcopalian denomination is no more Christian or Biblical than the reprobates in secular society.
Their religion is Liberalism and are therefore political correctness is their natural ideological home.

These religious reprobates speak the language of the antichrist and wouldn't know the Bible from the bus timetable. They deny repentance to sodom and gomorrah residents and therefore deny salvation and Christ Crucified.

Jude:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities."
