Jimmy Carter Condemns Sex-Selective Abortion, Killing at Birth of 160 Million Girls
Former President Jimmy Carter, who said he is still an evangelical, called on all Christians to come together in his Liberty University commencement address Saturday in Virginia. He also identified the killings and abortions of 160 million girls around the world today as one of the greatest injustices facing humanity.
Carter, the 39th President, jumped through various talking points in his address at the major Christian university, and focused some of the most pressing human rights issues in the world today that he said Christians should be involved in.
He spoke of countries like China and others where male infants are greatly preferred over females due to economic opportunities, and noted that 160 million girls are not alive today because their parents "either kill their daughters by strangling them at birth," or they decide to abort them when finding out that the fetus is female....

...Carter rejected the radical national health insurance program favored by liberals like Sen. Ted Kennedy. He wanted to increase the defense budget. He opposed federal financing of abortion and talked openly about his relationship with Jesus....

John MacArthur wrote: Also, many present-day Christian activists seem to be unaware of how much their methodology parallels that of liberal Christians at the turn of the twentieth century. Like those misguided idealists, contemporary evangelicals became enamored of temporal issues at the expense of eternal values. Evangelical activists, in essence, are simply preaching a politically conservative version of the old social gospel, emphasizing social and cultural concerns above spiritual ones.... [ ]

Money certainly does corrupt a lot of peopleâť— Is Jimmy Carter one of them? ( I bet you thought I was going to mention another president )
Rabbi Shmuley Boteach wrote: ...it just may be that Carter is less motivated by ideology than by cold, hard cash.
It was Professor Alan Dershowitz who detailed, in a series of articles, the millions of dollars of funding that Carter has personally and institutionally taken from leading Arab sources—....
As Dershowitz wrote:
Recent disclosures of Carter’s extensive financial connections to Arab oil money, particularly from Saudi Arabia, had deeply shaken my belief in his integrity. When I was first told that he received a monetary reward in the name of Shiekh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan, and kept the money, even after Harvard returned money from the same source because of its anti-Semitic history, I simply did not believe it. How could a man of such apparent integrity enrich himself with dirty money from so dirty a source? … To its credit, Harvard turned the money back. To his discredit, Carter did not....

The caption of this article sort of gives his agenda away. Every feminist promoter of course believes that aborting females is worse than aborting males. This man is no better than Obama or any other politician living on this God forsaken earth.
The fact that Liberty University would give this man any Christian relevance also sums up their theology today. I remember when they invited Sean Hannity to address their graduation class and I thought they couldn’t get worse, but they did.
Yet many will give Carter some type of moral credence because he doesn’t believe Jesus would approve of all abortions and he picks and chooses other moral mandates that we should obey.
Anyone who does not say that all abortions are murder and then call for the prosecution of all abortions is not pro-life. It is never proper to “target” an unborn life. I remember a FOX news commentator saying; “abortions should be safe, rare and personal”. There is no difference between that statement and abortion on demand.
He helped put in place Ayatollah Konami of Iran and helped with putting in a Communist foothold in Central America, double interest rates, unemployment beyond belief but he’s a liberal baptist. There is a little bit of use in a horse nugget.
