Motion filed against judge who jailed Kim Davis for Christian beliefs
Liberty Counsel’s Staver said: “It has never really been about a marriage license – Rowan County has issued the licenses – it is about forcing their will on a Christian woman through contempt-of-court charges, jail and monetary sanctions.”
The attorneys said then: “The fact is the plaintiffs already possess marriage licenses from Rowan County that have been approved as being valid by the Kentucky governor and Kentucky attorney general. Kim has taken all reasonable steps and good faith efforts to substantially comply with this court’s orders.”
The evidence indicated the objective of the court cases was not simply to obtain licenses, but to reduce the Constitution’s religious rights to a secondary role behind homosexual rights, Liberty Counsel said....
Speaking of sodomites, I just caught the tail end of a story...A store somewhere was under siege, and a cop who made his way in, got shot, causing him to be immobilized. During the siege, he kept his microphone on, so everyone outside could hear what was going on. He laid there, knowing that he wasn't going to make it, so they brought his boyfriend to the scene, and had an impromptu wedding, saying their vows using the walkie talkie. Law enforcement finally made it in, and he was still alive, and was rushed to a hospital. A priest was called in to make the marriage official, and he was given his last sacrament, and he died. The story was related as one of courage, and how the man was able to die happy, having his last wishes granted, a sodomite marriage, and being given his last rights and sacrament by a devilish priest. So sad.
