President Trump announced this morning that Rex Tillerson is out as U.S. Secretary of State and will be replaced by former Kansas Congressman Mike Pompeo who serves currently as Director of Central Intelligence.
This will be considered good news by pro-life and pro-family advocates since Pompeo has a lengthy record in support of a right to life and in opposition to the homosexual agenda.
It has never been clear what positions Rex Tillerson has on abortion and same-sex marriage, though he served on the board of directors of the Boy Scouts when the group began to allow out homosexual scout leaders....

You all should read about the read about the right-wing version George Soros--the Koch brothers. Why was Mike Pompeo so anti-abortion? One good reason is because his sponsors are Catholic.
John Nichols wrote: In the Republican wave election of 2010, when Charles and David Koch emerged as defining figures in American politics, the greatest beneficiary of Koch Industries largesse was a political newcomer named Mike Pompeo. After his election to the House eight years ago, Pompeo was referred to as the “Koch Brothers’ Congressman” and “the congressman from Koch.”
Now Pompeo is positioned to become a Koch brothers–influenced secretary of state....

But perhaps Feldblum is most remembered for pulling back the curtain on the same-sex marriage agenda. Asked what would happen if religious liberty clashed with the "rights" of people who identify as LGBT, she brazenly stated that she'd have "a hard time coming up with any case in which religious liberty should win." That's chilling, FRC warned at the time, since as head of the EEOC, she would act as the head referee on disputes over workplace discrimination. If Americans were hoping for neutrality, they certainly didn't get it under Chai's leadership. enemy of Trump's supposed agenda on religious liberty pushed by Trump? ¿¿¿?$R u being played???? At one point, Chai even signed on to an online petition "'Beyond Same-Sex Marriage: A New Strategic Vision for All Our Families and Relationships,' which advocates for polygamy and government recognition... for... diverse kinds of partnerships" -- a view she later disavowed." Will she now return to Moslem Polygamy support??? Is that " religious liberty"??

Updated | Conservatives are upset that a top federal watchdog who is known as an outspoken advocate for the LGBT community may get to keep her job until 2023—thanks to President Donald Trump.
The White House this week sent to the Senate for confirmation the renomination of Chai Feldblum, whose federal biography identifies her as “the first openly lesbian commissioner” of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She also identifies as "the fourth person with a disability to serve on the commission," having been diagnosed with anxiety disorder
Feldblum joined the EEOC, which enforces federal laws prohibiting workplace discrimination, in April 2010 during the Obama administration." -- No shock to me but"the Trump administration wants to give one of the most liberal LGBT activists of the Obama years another term.”
Perkins "shocked" why? "Trump himself promised in his RNC address to “protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology.” Pray For Your Leaders.

His bluster about reinstating torture appears to have subsided — for now — but Trump is reportedly considering reopening CIA “black sites,” one of the Deep State’s sinister symbols.
Donald Trump will not dismantle the extra-constitutional power structures that have grown more influential in the last decades of near-perpetual war, increasingly intrusive surveillance, financial deregulation and widening inequality. He will further entrench them. This has confounded those in the media, who once regarded him as a vulgar but basically harmless jack*** who probably wouldn’t win but who in any case increased ratings and circulation, as well as those Americans desperate for silver linings who saw him a change agent that would shake up a polarized political system and slaughter a few sacred cows....

As CIA director, Pompeo said there's “a long history of Russian efforts to influence the United States and conduct influence operations against the United States.”

QC, I'm already beginning to miss Tillersonâť— now, Pompeo may be anti-abortion, but as people get older he seems to have less trouble killing them.
Oh, if Trump leaves the Iranian deal, why should North Korea trust him to carry through with any deal that he makes with them?
Mr. Bear, the Secretary of State is a crucial job. His is to take the message of the United States to the rest of the world. A Christian man who rejects abortion takes a big stand overseas when facing down the rest of the world which readily murders the unborn or stands as a supporter of the few who do not. He is also an important policy adviser to the President and White House on a great many things.
Meanwhile, Rex Tillerson's best attribute was his connection to the Russians. Seeing as that kind of networking is out of style right now, so is Secretary Tillerson.
Finally, the Secretary of State also sets the tone for his department. The Department of State tends to lean left of center. Someone with strong moral tendencies can help pull it back.

Hmmm...makes me wonder what the secretary of state has to do with abortion law..probably nothing. Sounds like someone is reaching for straws to support him. Already questions are being raised about the CIA's treatment of suspects (water boarding, anyone?) when Pompeo was in charge. I always thought Rex was not the right guy. Just because he had a lot of experience meeting with foreign leaders to run Exxon-Mobil did not mean he was a foreign policy guru. Just saying, Mr. President, why can't you find better people? Doesn't CATO or the Heritage Foundation give their input on these things? What difference does the Secretary of State make anyway?
Tiny Tim, I didn't say that I disagreed with Mike Pompeo's position on climate change, though unlike his anti-abortion stance which is really a non-issue for this job, getting along with people who have an obsession about climate change is important. I just what do point out issues in his character.

Forget Pompeo’s army service and Harvard law degree; you don’t get to be the favorite son of the morbidly rich if you don’t know how to suck up to them.
