Poisoned Russian spy Sergei Skripal was close to consultant who was linked to the Trump dossier

A security consultant who has worked for the company that compiled the controversial dossier on Donald Trump was close to the Russian double agent poisoned last weekend, it has been claimed.

The consultant, who The Telegraph is declining to identify, lived close to Col Skripal and is understood to have known him for some time.

Col Skripal, who is in intensive care and fighting for his life after an assassination attempt on Sunday, was recruited by MI6 when he worked for the British embassy in Estonia, according to the FSB, the Russian intelligence agency. ...

Aha! I knew there was a Clinton Connection here. The Clinton campaign paid for the (phony)dossier, using a law firm to hide their dirty deed (what would you expect, dealing with them).

we should be deeply ashamed by this story.

and ashamed that megyn kelly has the audacity to grill Putin after obama/hillary/ISIS and 2 years of made of collusion and this case....

as a nation, we have egg on our faces...

we should be ashamed and repent and turn to Christ.

One of the ideas put forward about the poisoning of Skripal is that it could have been done by the Russian opposition.
Those who are politically opposed to Putin and live in Russia.

The idea being that many in Russia are dissatisfied with Putin's form of government and want to upset him by destabilizing Russia's foreign politics.

BTW: Another Russian dissident has been found dead in London.
"Nikolai Grushkov, 69, was found dead at his home in New Malden in south London on Monday evening."

You shouldn't trust anything May says!!
She is in the pay of Tusk and Juncker the Federalist Dictators of the European parliament. She is a 'Remainer' and therefore against the UK fighting for its freedom from the Euro Parliament.
This illustrates that she is not a true Conservative as indeed Cameron wasn't.

The so called "Brexit" negotiations are being dragged on By May and Co. in a bid to weary the UK people. Smoke and Mirrors. Together with the Liberalist dominated media which is broadcasting all the 'bad news' about the decline, downfall and demise of Britain if it leaves the EU Federalist Dictatorship.

As for May and the attack upon Sergei Skripal. There is no actual proof yet that Russia is actively involved. [Like Trump and Russia] Even if they manage to dig up "proof" Russia will simply refute it. There is nothing Britain could do anyway to penalize Russia. The UN wouldn't do anything since Russia and China dominate the UN. As for the EU they already have sanctions in force because of Ukraine - Which have made the sum total of zero difference!!
More "Smoke and Mirrors."

...May told members of Parliament that British authorities had concluded the Skripals were exposed to an agent that was part of the “Novichok” group of nerve agents developed by Russia.

Because Russia had produced the agent in the past and “would still be capable of doing so,” it had sponsored assassinations before, and it saw some defectors as legitimate targets, the British government had “concluded that it is highly likely that Russia was responsible for the act against Sergei and Yulia Skripal,” May said....

Poisoning in Britain of various Russians has been going on for quite a while. This is a very interesting article about these happenings. I think it's rather well done.
ABC News Radio wrote:
Britain’s government has said it is too early to assign blame for the attack in the small town of Salisbury that left Sergey Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, 33, in critical condition.

But officials have implied Russia is currently their prime suspect....
Lesin's death was one of 14 Russian deaths that have attracted renewed suspicion in some quarters recently after Buzzfeed reported last year that U.S. intelligence suspected they were Kremlin hits.

Yvette Cooper, the chairwoman of Britain’s parliamentary Home Affairs committee, this week called for police to reexamine the 14 deaths in light of Skripal’s poisoning....

The truth is, many conservative Christians believe that “all is fair” in some wars. John Calvin said that “slander is often praised under the pretext of zeal and conscientiousness. Hence… this vice [creeps] in under the name of virtue.”

Regardless of how much we passionately disagree with someone, we cannot give ourselves a pass for violating this command. And that’s what is happening when we post something pointing to a conspiracy and spreading fake news.

Let me be clear: some on the left have also spread conspiracy theories and have born false witness on all sides. I’m not defender of the media or of the Democratic party.

But I’m speaking to Christians (and not saying they are all in one party). I’m talking to Christians (in this one situation) about how our worldview should make us different. We cannot use moral equivalence to justify our own behavior. Our definition of sin doesn’t come from comparison of others. It comes from God’s standard of holiness. And our justification doesn’t come with comparing ourselves with others, but rather from Christ’s finished work on the cross.

American born and raised soviet spies gave details of the atomic bomb to Stalin during WW2. Sounds insane, considering it was STALIN, the crazy loon. Reading why they did it, said that they could not trust USA to be the only super power, and most if not all were super smart scientists. That was 70 years ago, based on the typical communist agenda od most universities, there now should be more home bred spies.

Oh, this really makes for a great conspiracy theory story line. Usually it's the Russians who are assassinating former KGB/GRU defectors. What if the Democratic Party went after this family? Or those above the Democratic Party like Soros and company? Like I wrote at the start, great fodder for theorizing!

The trouble is that those who live by the sword also sometimes die by the sword. There are plenty of potential enemies out there. Until more facts are known, I hope the political pundits will keep their mits off this story.

Any of us could be found slumped on a park bench as this man reportedly was. The bigger question is whether or not you are ready to meet the Lord. For it is appointed for mean to die but once and then the judgment. Cling to Christ now.
