As I spoke with one of our SermonAudio broadcasters recently, he commented that he thought of our site in terms of the parable Jesus once told. “So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.” (Mark 4:26–27). At any given time of day or night, thousands of people are accessing sermons here. Thousands of broadcasters have done the hard, difficult task of preparing Bible messages and have uploaded them to SermonAudio. People then listen to or watch these sermons in different ways. The seed of God's Word springs up and grows in hearts, saving some and sanctifying others. How it all happens, no man really knows. But the kingdom of God is growing as He use this means to advance His work. Some sow, others water, God gives the increase. To God be the glory.
We are so grateful for the feedback our broadcasters share with us. It's encouraging to know they are praying for us even as we are praying for them. Here are a few recent interactions we have received.
But first, some other encouragements!
We have hits from all around the world. It’s so encouraging to see the gospel reaching all throughout the world through SermonAudio. I have heard nothing but positive from people who use your site. It is really a tremendous asset to our ministry and very easy to use. Thank you for your efforts and your labor of love. -- Broadcaster who wishes to remain anonymous.
"An amazing library of Christian sermons and teaching." -- Google Play
Started back into this book for the new year. Like a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend. You won’t be sorry. To gaze involves both attention and affection. Give God your complete attention in the Word. Give God your heart’s affection in prayer.
Encouraging broadcaster feedback..
Below is some of the feedback from broadcasters we've received just this past week. We encourage you to contact them and tell them that you saw them here!
Rob Ham, Keystone Heights Presbyterian Church www.sermonaudio.com/khpcworship"We just love SermonAudio. We use it for our sermons and podcasts the we develop. Podcasts were huge for us. We did a series on the Shorter Catechism and then interviewed some of my professors and other men about significant topics. We have enjoyed a great number of downloads as a result. We have found your business cards useful. I downloaded some books from your Paperback Bible project and am using them for my personal sermon prep. We are very grateful for the various features you provide and have been blessed by your services."
Marvin Stalnaker, Katy Baptist Church www.sermonaudio.com/katy"SermonAudio is a fantastic means of getting the gospel out all over the world. Our church has downloads from everywhere around the world. SermonAudio has been one of those tools that we have been able to utilize with great blessing. Whenever we download new messages each week, the response is almost immediate. We are so thankful for this opportunity the Lord has been pleased to use throughout the years. We are constantly letting other people know about SermonAudio. We are really happy with what you offer. We are thankful for your staff that is doing a fabulous work."
We would encourage you to read through more testimonials we've received over the years from both listeners and broadcasters alike.
Please do some minor redesign on your pages displaying available sermons. While we can certainly benefit greatly from audio-only sermons, the availability of video greatly enhances the experience and, I suspect, helps with long-term retention of the information (due to the focus the video provides the viewer - reducing the effects of around-the-room distractions). You already have a great many video sermons; the problem is that you don't let the web page viewer easily differentiate between audio-only and video sermons. Please add an icon or something to all of the video sermons - on the broadcaster pages, on the sermon display pages, and anywhere else the viewer is selecting from your content. Thanks and God bless your efforts.
Sermon Audio has been an amazing daily resource of God's word to me since about 2011. I pray for more Japanese churches to be on it. My favorite resource on this site is filter by PDF, as this is very helpful to me to quickly get some good outlines from Pastors.
