So there a lot of Christians circumcise their children also. I don't mean the Replacement type Christians either, ]]http://tinysa.com/309245 (Replacement Theology Part 1) ]]http://tinysa.com/243132 (Replacement Theology Part 2), and ]] http://tinysa.com/309246 (Replacement Theology Part 3), I would think there would be a lot of fuss about this law.
What absolute hypocrisy!! Iceland is the country where they claim to have eradicated Downs Syndrome, but that is because 100% of Downs Syndrome babies are aborted, (Denmark is slightly more "conservative" as it is 90% there), and abortion is freely available and where there is a great pagan revival, including the building of a brand new pagan temple to the old "gods", just outside Reykjavik on land supplied, I believe, by the municipality!!
I trust that the revived pagan worshippers will, presumably not be offering up animal, and even worse, human sacrifices, as that really would be a problem for the secular legislators!!!
I wonder if the local ecumenical Lutheran Church will object to this law, as they are interested in interfaith relations, and this could rock the ecumenical interfaith boat!!
If it was just the Jews, that were affected by this proposed legislation, think this law would go through without a problem, but Muslims also circumcise their children and I suspect that could cause a problem for the legislators, as nobody in the secular West these days wants to offend Islam!!!
Thank the UN and its Convention on the Rights of the Child for this. In most of the world, these treaty is being used to strip parental rights. In fact, Scotland has been trying to figure out a way to assign a social worker to oversee the raising of every child there.
Guess the new pagan temple doesn't require these kinds of rituals. And also suppose that killing every baby in the womb with Down Syndrome doesnt include circumcision, so at least that part of those babies' "rights" are being protected.
Would be good, though, if people in Iceland and everywhere else would circumcise their hearts. That would be a great start for all of us.
