Media watchdog to ABC: Apologize for Christian bashing or else
Media Research Center President Brent Bozell released an open letter Thursday to ABC News President James Goldston warning him and two talk-show personalities that if they don’t apologize for bashing Christians, he will ask his group’s millions of grassroots activists to contact advertisers.
It was Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin, co-hosts of ‚ÄúThe View,‚ÄĚ who made the offensive statements, with Hostin characterizing Vice President Mike Pence‚Äôs practice of his Christian faith as ‚Äúdangerous‚ÄĚ and Behar equating it to ‚Äúmental illness.‚ÄĚ...

I think Bob even when he wrote this knew that this is somewhat wishful thinking.
Yes, CV, I learned a lot about Mike Pence also. I would hope that he is not a Dominionist (See http://tinyurl.com/jzttasx (Notes on Reconstructionism) If he has respect for America's secular government institutions I would would rather have him in as President then Trump. Some people, anyway, worry about him being a theocrat. I certainly hope he isn't!

‚ÄúMy faith,‚ÄĚ Pence told me in 2012, ‚Äúhas continued to be what I hope is the most important thing in my life.‚ÄĚ Pence‚Äôs beliefs have shifted at least twice‚ÄĒfrom his family‚Äôs Catholicism to an idiosyncratic evangelical Christianity, and from that to a more hardened and ideological version of the same. If, as he insists, faith does indeed order his life, why did he stop being so open about it? Why strip the evangelizing from his evangelicalism?
Good luck getting Pence to comment on that. The easiest answer seems to be that he decided that as his political ambitions grew his public religiosity needed to shrink....

That's an argument Trump's vice presidential running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, made Wednesday.
And it's a divide that could end up shattering the Republican Party's historically reliable evangelical base, Mohler said.
"Personal integrity is very important," especially for minority and younger evangelicals, he said. "The Republican Party can no longer count on the habit of evangelicals' voting for the party's nominee for president.

Opinion article at Blogos, a blog associated with GotQuestions.org, that shows how ridiculous KJV-onlyism is.
Blogos wrote: While they rarely admit it, advocates of KJV Onlyism essentially believe that God re-inspired the Bible in 1611 A.D. Ultimately, they have to go there because if they place their loyalty on the Textus Receptus (the Greek manuscript compilation used by the KJV translators), that would open the door to new translations being created. […]
So, don’t be deceived by KJV Onlyism. God did not re-inspire the Bible in 1611 A.D. The King James Version is not the only Bible we can use. The new translations are not a part of a grand conspiracy to spread false doctrine. When the Bible was written, it was written in the common and current language of the people of that time. When the Bible is translated, it should be translated into the common and current language of the people. My first reaction to being exposed to KJV Onlyism was precisely correct. To force the English-speaking world to use an archaic and antiquated translation is ridiculous.
As counterfeits redact the "new testament" this obvious attack on the written Word of God is interesting, as even though counterfeits remove the phrase "new testament", they do not title their New Testaments as "New Agreement" or "New Covenant". Why? The counterfeiters know they could not $ell their counterfeit bearing the title "New Agreement" or "New Covenant" on the cover, so like any good counterfeiter, they disguise it.
5. Mark 3:29
The counterfeits change the serious consequences of blaspheme against the Holy Ghost from "eternal damnation" to "eternal sin" or "eternal condemnation".
6. Luke 4:4
Many counterfeits remove the last half of Lk4:4, ". . . but by every word of God" This is another assault on the Word of God. In Lk4:4, the Lord Jesus Christ is quoting Dt8:3. Do the counterfeiters believe the Lord Jesus does not know what Dt8:3 says?
7. Luke 4:8 ‚Ä®Many counterfeits remove the words "get thee behind me, Satan". Here zthe Lord Jesus Christ openly rebukes Satan ‚Äď but the counterfeits do not rebuke Satan.
8. Luke 16:23
Many counterfeits refuse to translate the Greek word "haides". Rather than translate "haides" as "hell", counterfeit transliterate Greek "haides"- Hades is a new-age place of purification, or a fantasy place in Greek mythology
Check your Bible and see if it is a counterfeit. 1. Gen22:8 The counterfeits change ". . . My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:. . ." to distort the prophesy that God would become the Lamb. The counterfeits read as, "God will provide for Himself the lamb. . ." or "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering". The fulfillment of Gen 22:8 is found in John 1:29.
2. Is 14:12 Most counterfeits confuse the Lord Jesus Christ with Lucifer. They replace the word "Lucifer" with "morning star, day star, star of the morning". Morning star is a title reserved for the Lord Jesus in Revelation 22:16. This is also the only time the word "Lucifer" is found in the Word of God. In Is 14:15 the counterfeits do not send Lucifer to "hell" but only to the confusing "Sheol", or the "grave". ¬ŅHell?too modern for corrupters 3. Mat 20:20 counterfeits remove the words "worshipping him" &rob worship from the Lord Jesus Christ.
4. Mat26:28 Some counterfeits replace the phrase "new testament" with the generic phrase "new agreement" or "new covenant". No New Testament in yer bile?
