With more Islamic schooling, Erdogan aims to reshape Turkey
On a hill overlooking Istanbul is a religious school where, 50 years ago, a boy from a working class district attended classes in Islam. The boy was Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s future president. The school was one of the first Imam Hatip schools, founded by the state to educate young men to be imams and preachers.
At the start of the 2017-2018 academic year in September, Erdogan returned to his old school, now renamed the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Anatolian Imam Hatip upper school after an $11 million redevelopment. He recalled the ‚Äútough days‚ÄĚ of his childhood and the spirit in the school that drove its students to success.
‚ÄúThe joint goal of all education and our teaching system is to bring up good people with respect for their history, culture and values,‚ÄĚ Erdogan told flag-waving children at a ceremony to mark the reopening of the school....
These Turkish state sponsored Islamic schools will soon become as bad as the infamous madrasahs of Pakistan, where countless youngsters are brainwashed by zealous clerics with sharia Islam, and will become fanatical Islamic potential terrorists.
I have no doubt Etdogan will fairly quickly Islamise the remaining secular schools and colleges or close them down, and of course both non-Islamic private schooling and homeschooling will no doubt be completely banned, and if necessary, children taken away from Christian and other non-Muslim families.
some of our Christian zionist friends were mocking the libyans using references from revelations.
if they only knew ...
.....qaddafi had tried to bring the gold standard to africa and stabilized the region... he predicted the fall of europe to the caliphate if his country was destabilized
...the judeo-sunni coalition, the neocons, the mccains and the bushes and the obamas.
the militiary industrial complex and the fleshly kingdom...
and the syrian christians massacred and the iraqi christians massacred
and revelations fulfilled in our time..
for those who say they are chosen but are not have come against the brethren in the east and the west, and the beast, and the number of beheaded and crucified are brought into the Kingdom at their deaths....
...those who were faithful to the end.
those who were matryed for the name of Christ.
while those in the west laughed as they watched hal lindsay the "prophet" on tv...
..while the sunnis overflowed europe.
...while a sunni prez brought them into our cities at night.
The beast empire is starting to grow and coming to a point. This is indeed the last head of the beast that will come back the Ottoman Empire.. the beast (AntiChrist) is from the seventh head and is the eight and last empire. Mystery babylon who will be fallen at the return of our King.
The day Erdogan ditches the green tie for a non collared shirt is the day NATO has the largest land army who will turn and head west with an Iranian/ Syrian/ Russian invasion of Europe. Biblical in its proportion.
Perhaps Erdogan is trying to emulate his forefathers in building a modern Ottoman Empire. ....
Quote:- "During the 16th and 17th centuries, at the height of its power under the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent, the Ottoman Empire was a multinational, multilingual empire controlling most of Southeast Europe, parts of Central Europe, Western Asia, parts of Eastern Europe and the Caucasus, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa. At the beginning of the 17th century, the empire contained 32 provinces and numerous vassal states. Some of these were later absorbed into the Ottoman Empire, while others were granted various types of autonomy during the course of centuries" (Wiki)
Reuters News did a in-depth study of this religious educational goal in Turkey. It is debatable that a national parochial school system is working, in this case an Islamic one. The article also gives you something of the personality of Erdogan, I suppose Israelis already know about his personality, but perhaps it's be a good idea for Americans do you have a better idea of what the leader of the so-called ally of the United States is like, and how he got that way.
Reuters wrote: The expansion of religious education is unsettling some Turks. Interviews with two dozen parents, teachers and education officials point to deep divisions over the role of Islam in education. Some secularist parents say the Islamist school movement is robbing their children of resources and opportunity. Those differences are part of a wider disagreement between liberal and secular sections of society and Erdogan’s support base of conservative, pious Turks.
excerpt from the article
From what I can find out there is no homeschooling in Turkey. Probably something Christians desperately need--let alone the few Muslims who think for themselves
Perhaps this should be the required reading in all Turkish schools, ]]http://tinyurl.com/gn4kqok (The Inadequacy of Islam). The author had quite a bit of experience with Turkey after World War I.
