Police Investigate Terrorist Attack in NYC Which Injured 3
A Bangladeshi man reportedly inspired by ISIS set off a pipe bomb inside New York's Port Authority bus terminal during rush hour Monday morning, sowing mass chaos but causing few injuries -- likely because the "attempted terrorist" detonated his "low-tech device" prematurely.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said the explosion "was an attempted terrorist attack," adding there was no additional known threat to New York City. Authorities are viewing transit system video that captured the incident.
"Thank God the perpetrator did not achieve his ultimate goals," de Blasio said....
Jim, since you love statistics(and assuming that the ones you bring to the table are accurate, which is always highly doubtful), the average American is 250 times more likely to die from Alzheimer's than to be killed by a right-wing extremist. Alzheimer's is a serious brain disorder very similar to the one you must have gotten smoking all that cornsilk.
In the immediate aftermath of the election of Donald Trump, CNN broadcast a non-spontaneous set-up piece with "Lilly," who said "We canât just do rallies, we have to fight back. There will be casualties on both sides. There will be because people have to die to make a change in this world." Trump supporters were the victims of numerous targeted attacks, brutal violence, and hate crimes.A tech company corporate CEO threatened to murder Donald Trump. The brutal and disturbing anti-Trump hate crimes (or hate crimes closely related to Trump's election) continued to occur into the next year. Democrat leaders, Obama and the Clinton machine refused to condemn the hate and violence. Ads for paid protesters appeared on Craigslist. Many of these protests were likely organized and coordinated, as many protestors were bused in by Coach buses.
Liberal media bias and fake news, which demonized conservatives and Republicans, played a role in the increase in left-wing violence against conservatives.Mainstream media outlets even promoted the notion that violent left-wingers used their violence against conservatives for peace.
Dr. Tim, these Islamic terrorists might start heading down South during the winter, to enjoy your guys fine weather, and start doing their thing there?
Erroll G. Southers | Opinion contributor wrote: We've been conditioned to view terrorism as the exclusive province of extremist Muslims. And now the chickens are coming home to roost. .... The New America Foundation reports an almost 2-1 ratio of attacks by far-right extremists over Islamist extremists. [ ] The Anti-Defamation League reports that from 2007 to 2016, a diverse collection of extremists was responsible for the deaths of at least 372 people in the United States; 74% of these murders came at the hands of right wing extremists. These trends are accelerating, rapidly. In an eight-day period in May, for example, there was a string of violent extremist incidents that received little media attention...
"New York City is an incredibly diverse place. "Here, an Uzbek Muslim immigrant in on a visa diversity lottery can run over Argentinian tourists, an Egyptian-Palestinian Muslim can shoot a Danish musician on the observation deck of the Empire State Building, Saudi Muslims can fly planes into the World Trade Center killing people from 77 countries, an Afghan Muslim can plant pressure cooker bombs in Chelsea, a Lebanese Muslim can open fire on a van of Jewish students, and a Pakistani-Kuwaiti and Iraqi Muslim can bomb the World Trade Center." (gopusa.com) And to think of all the racist xenophobic bigots who want to keep these people from coming to America!
CAIR assisting the family with their statement to the Press?
ABC News Radio wrote: âWe are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today, and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,â the family said in a statement, which was read in front of the Ullah familyâs home in Brooklyn by Albert Fox Cahn, legal director for Council on American-Islamic Relations-New York.
âBut we are also outraged by the behavior of law enforcement officials who have held children as small as 4 years old out in the cold and who held a teenager out of high school classes to interrogate him without a lawyer, without his parents,â the statement continued. âThese are not the sorts of actions that we expect from our justice system, and we have every confidence that our justice system will find the truth behind this attack and that we will, in the end, be able to learn what occurred today.â
