Cremated remains unearthed in China are the Buddha’s, inscription says
Cremated human remains found inside a ceramic box in Jingchuan County, China, might be those of the Buddha, though archeologists have not confirmed that.
An inscription says the remains were buried June 22, 1013, and belong to the Buddha, who is said to have lived from 563 B.C. to 483 B.C.
More than 260 Buddhist statues were found buried near the remains, but researchers are not certain they were buried at the same time since the inscription does not mention them.

How kind of you to think of me, Bro St James. It's not so much sun that's needed here in Wales, as warmth. Rain is fine, but temperatures around 18 - 26 degrees C would do just nicely. ---------
Sister B, yes I am certain the Lord is well able to use his word in both saving souls and blessing/instructing the saints. The KJV reigns supreme in this, and the texts are so memorable, which is why KJ preachers can draw on texts in their heart without any bother.

Yes, and sadly, at the present while all the so called 'scholars' figure in the liberal camp, there is no hope for the proper and honest modernization of the KJV. But the God who has been pleased to use this tool throughout the last centuries, in spite of its archaisms, can continue to do so, and carry on his work, just for the sake of honouring his own words.
IE. Been reading your posts. Most interesting. Here is a few things I have come across while perusing through the history of our bible. IN 1516, Erasmus published a Greek-Latin Parallel New Testament with his own fresh rendering of the text to correct a corrupt Vulgate. The sources came from the Greek manuscripts that escaped from Constantinople in 1453 which was the work of scribes in Constantinople from copies of what had been housed there from the 4th century. From this source came Tyndale's NT which would frame the foundation of our English bible.
Herein lies the DNA of what we today refer to as the TR which is the source for the Geneva Bible which America was founded with by the pilgrims seeking to escape religious tyranny.
It's also the DNA for the KJV as well. The KJV organizers removed the notes which filled the pages of the Geneva translation which imo was a good thing. It's a wonderful translation that continues to serve many well like me.
Blessings to you Brother John. Hope all is well with you in that winter environment in England. I'll mail you some sun from Fla if you care to have some.

temples exist to bow to "Buddha's bones equivalents" LXX& Aleph Now discovery that the Bodmer Papyri are dug from the same dump associated with ancient Gnostic groups from the Nag Hammadi region of Egypt returns the strength to the remnant- &the false temple's roof cracks as the end game nears. Dissimulation affronts love of the Lord & basic logic - such gall! ¿To Supersede texts of Church paternity with repulsive "Disheveled dump"anonymous skins based on glib assurance that clandestine Councils made an invisible "recession" ??- Luciferian lies of Lucian clan.

ESV N.T. based on Westcott-Hort Greek text which differs from the Traditional Greek text that underlies the King James Bible; it omits some 5000 words, including 18 entire verses in the New Testament alone. ESV Old Testament? a random mixture of texts from the Hebrew Masoretic tradition, readings from the "Invisible"pre-Christian Greek Septuagint &Samaritan Pentateuch, Syriac, &Vulgate.
Dr. Tim wrote: "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." He that goes forth is not invisible. His weeping may not be seen by others, but it is not invisible. The seed that he carries is not invisible. His rejoicing is not invisible. But Ariel, you would have me believe that the harvest he carries IS invisible. Universalist? Ridiculous. I preach far more often on hell than I do on heaven. But an invisible church would have to be composed of invisible people. Now obviously you and I can't see inside a human heart, but we can see external evidence in many cases of internal conversion.
Good post, but then I love all posts to do with evangelism and conversions.
And yes, the external evidence is often that which trips forth from the tongue, revealing the heart.

"Redactor Revisionist scholarship" - ignores God's power to preserve His Word for His people. Our Saviour taught preservation principle "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Mt.4:4) {&Lk 4:4 in non-redacted bibles. } Every word from God is inerrant, & if we are to live by all of them, they must all be preserved for us, in an inerrant form, in our language &free from tinkering of men. A logical result of God's preservation of His true Word for all His people throughout the centuries is confinement of it to traditional texts, which in the case of the English language justifies a KJV- only position
