Lawmaker attacks homeschooling as 'child abuse'

About five years ago, lawmakers in New Hampshire approved a series of changes to improve their citizens’ access to homeschooling, but they now appear to be preparing to roll back those improvements.

And it’s generated considerable controversy, since one legislator opposing homeschooling called it “child abuse.”

Which wasn’t received well by another lawmaker whose children mostly have graduated from the family’s homeschool, and have gone to top-tier colleges.

The Home School Legal Defense Association is reporting on the situation, as it was involved in the improvements back in 2012. ...

Several of his former classmates at Mt. San Jacinto College spoke to ABC News, including Josh Boldt, who described him as "really pale."

Child abuse that went along with homeschooling. Not a New Hampshire problem--I would hope--though, but in the land of fruit and nuts, otherwise known as California.

This was not done in self defence, like I said I'm talking to Americans, anything to do with removing guns will fall in deaf ears.
Y'all do anything for your country, and God, except give up your murdering tools.

The apostles didn't need guns, Dave. They could make people blind (Acts 13:11) or strike them dead (Acts 5:5) by faith alone. I'm sad to say I don't have that kind of faith. I don't own a gun, but I'm not sorry that some people in our church do.

Daily!! Every day many citizens protect others - prevent crime & if u sign up for daily updates- u can bypass media suppression of facts.

One today

Senator Al Franken is latest to have his name added to ever-growing list of powerful men accused of sexual harassment in recent weeks.

Shortly after the news broke, MSNBC anchor Kasie Hunt caught up with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and used the opportunity to ask the female politician if she had ever experienced sexual harassment in the workplace.

Palin’s response: “I think a whole lot of people know that I’m probably packing so I don’t think there’s a whole lot of people who would necessarily mess with me.”

😁😁😁 why you would you start being nice now, that's the nicest thing you've called me, well dear Christopher000, if I may, I'll call you Christopherooo😆 that appears to be what's happening, "normal people" are accessing guns and flipping out and mass murdering?
Then the fact that at least a certain percentage of these guns are removed, that's less guns in public in total which by reason there's less guns for crooks to steal and use illegally.
As an outsider looking in, so pardon my ignorance but there seems to be little evidence that the public protect themselves, as apart from the last church shooting where a citizen actually has time or training to react with their own firearms, which are meant to protect them?
I am saying this with mixed feelings, as a human of course I wish I had a gun that I could use for protection, but again where did Jesus or the apostles use violence, and ey, I'm not an angel, and I wish I could not resort to violence when confronted with it, but I'm sinner at heart.
Even Paul struggled

Dear Dave, may I call you Dave?
Let's say tomorrow we have a nationwide firearms recall. All citizens who obtained them through legal channels turn them in...check. How do we solve the problem that we will still be facing after the good citizens have turned theirs over: all of the thugs, gangs, common criminals, and whoever else, still have theirs, locked, loaded, and ready for their next crime? Problem is that there's no turning back and I can't think of a way to solve it. Sure, you can stiffen the gun laws, and make them even harder to get, but how does anyone know when the previously normal, in every way, never been arrested, white collar dude next door is gonna flip, or the church lady who sings in the choir snaps after catching her husband cheating, or someone suddenly suffers from mental illness, and all having passed stiff background and mental health, etc., checks? I just don't see a doable solution.

Exactly, useless laws, take guns away, you'll have less gun massacres, in know will fall on deaf ears in the US, but it's not rocket science.

So Mike, is it illegal to own a gun in Chicago? Apart from farmers slaughter men or essential services.

Hi Dave, no, not illegal, but Chicago does have the strictest gun laws in the country, and still the highest murder rate.

Homeschool Dad wrote:
Jim L, I'm completely confused how you can connect young teens being preyed upon by adult men with the homeschooling movement. There is absolutely no connection whatsoever. Many homeschoolers of both genders outperform their traditional schooled peers in every aspect of education. On the contrary, my wife who grew up in only conservative Christian schools was routinely hit on by adult men on and off campus. My dad, who was almost nothing Christian, at least could give me a very valuable piece of advice - leave other people's teenage daughters alone. And where are those kids most exposed without parental protection? School.

Hmm, it seems that Jim cannot work up the intellect or courage to debate someone who was homeschooled, maybe it's because I utilize something called the fact that I've slaughtered him on every controversial discourse we've had.

gun confiscation is done by every communist regime before genocide.

our people are being threatened now by antifa groups.... one supreme court justice passed on, a senator shot and nearly died, another senator attacked in his own yard, these leftists mean business.

meanwhile its conservatives coming into these mass shootings done by leftists and stopping them.

as to this child abuse homeschooling thing, the story on this is that they were discussing transgender issues.

in other words they were realizing that there is a group of children that are not behest to this pedophilia agenda!!! and that they must be reigned in!!!

Dave, if that were true, Chicago, Detroit, and Washington would be the most peaceful cities on the planet. For some reason apparently unrelated to tighter gun control, they aren't.

And Christopheroo, because you answered the call, can I refer to you as bozo.

Sure. Might as well start saying what most think anyway...ha-ha.

I sent yet another letter to the UN yesterday begging them to build a fence around the entire continent of Australia and order a mass quarantine of your people. There's no way Aussies should be able to travel freely, coming and going as you please...makes no sense. The odd accent, strange vocabulary, and unusually low brain output, along with the disturbingly mutated physical features Aussies are known for, aren't things the rest of the world needs to be exposed to.
