Deadliest Church Shooting in American History Kills At Least 26
At least 26 people are dead after a gunman opened fire inside a Texas church on Sunday morning, officials say.
The shooting occurred at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, approximately 30 miles from San Antonio, around 11:30 a.m. The shooter, who is believed to have acted alone, fled the church on foot and was killed by police, officials said.
The shooter has been identified as Devin Patrick Kelley, 26, of nearby New Braunfels, Texas. Kelley was married and his mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address. His LinkedIn describes him as serving in the U.S. Air Force from his 2009 until 2013, after which he briefly taught at a summer Bible school. Days before the shooting, he posted a picture of an assualt weapon on Facebook. One witness told a KSAT reporter the he was dressed "in full gear."...

America's most infamous white terrorist, died of natural causes instead of being executed.
ABC News Australia wrote: In the annals of American crime, Manson became the embodiment of evil The cult leader sent a group of young followers to commit murders in order to launch a race war The murders revealed a violent underbelly of a counterculture that preached peace and love.
The California Department of Corrections, where Manson had been held since 1989, said he died of natural causes on Sunday night (local time).

From what I've heard, he lived a comfortable life in jail.
Speaking of ABC... This wasn't held in the church Sanctuary by the way, ]]http://tinyurl.com/yczpqy4h (Texas church survivors and supporters hold services one week after mass shooting).
liberal media had been desperate to get the ball rolling on increased and ineffective gun control measures. They’ve become so frantic that they have taken to lying about the current federal gun laws on the books and what actually happened during the shooting. On Tuesday, ABC wanted “extreme vetting” for prospective gun buyers and New York Times reporter Yamiche Alcindor asserted that the shooter was not stopped by an armed citizen.
In a particularly snotty Nov. 7 New Republic article, Sarah Jones tells readers “Why the Right Is Obsessed With the Sutherland Springs Shooter’s Atheism.” Guns, she posits, are a new civic religion, and shooting victims are martyrs of the faith. Therefore, the shooter’s atheism is a big deal. /- What is wrong with many fools is they take to heart officious talking head Foolosophers.
Jim L, What does your liberal media bias fact check have to do with this tragedy? You use this heartbreaking tragedy to justify the BBC? Then you scold them for their views on Israel? How is that relevant to over 20 innocent people losing their lives.
The BBC has a very short, and something of a droll video on how to spot a fake news story. it's generic enough to apply to other instances besides the Texas killings and they do apply it, for that matter. I was listening to an interview with a witness who was in the church during the shootings on the nightly news a little while ago. He said that amidst the chaos, he noticed that the shooter would specifically target any crying babys and children. Evil is evil, but mankind is capable of differing levels of atrocities. Some grow colder and more callous as they continue on with their crimes, such as murder, etc., because they get used to the carnage and taking another human life becomes no big deal. This man, however, was already there. He didn't need any practice or time for his brain to re-wire and any empathy grow cold...he walked up and in that way. Scary that people like this are walking around, and whenever a person snaps like this and is capable of such things, my mind always goes to wondering about possession. I know he was an Athiest, so no consequences, but you have to wonder about someone that empty inside.

1 Bart Ehrman may be the single most popular Bible teacher in the world right now.
Ehrman has written widely on issues of the New Testament and early Christianity at both an academic and popular level, much of it based on textual criticism of the New Testament. His thirty books include three college textbooks and five New York Times bestsellers: Misquoting Jesus, Jesus, Interrupted, God's Problem, Forged, and How Jesus Became God. His books have been translated into 27 languages.
In Forged, Ehrman posits some New Testament books are literary forgeries and shows how widely forgery was practiced by early Christian writers—and how it was condemned in the ancient world as fraudulent and illicit.
In 2012, Ehrman published Did Jesus Exist? The Historical Argument for Jesus of Nazareth, defending the historical existence of Jesus of Nazareth in contrast to the mythicist theory that Jesus is an entirely fictitious being
Ehrman's position the same as Kurt Aland of Missler/ Aland fame
& Isaac Asimov, atheist had a complete Bible commentary system.
Much satanic bible study " expertise" Yea? Hath God said???
The service he belonged to and convicted him of abuse of wife and step son and was discharged from the Air Force, had not put it in the armed force data base allowing him to pass all requirements to buy fire arms. Had it been in there he could not own a gun. So sad one of the fatalities was pregnant. Prayers for the family of each death and recovery for wounded.
Apparently, the killer had had a row with his mother-in-law, who attended this church. She escaped the massacre, but her mother was killed in it.
The firearm he used was illegal for him to possess because he has been a convicted offender. So this is not anything to do with gun control.
In fact the police had nothing to do with him being stopped in n his rampage and eventually killed in the next county.
2 passers by, one of whom was armed (legally), challenged him, wounded him causing him to flee, chased him into the next county, where he died in his car, apparently either from the wound he had sustained from the armed passer by or from a self inflicted wound, I.e. by suicide, killing himself, it is not clear which. The police only turned up after that. That won't be made too much of in the media.
Just because a man teaches a Bible class doesn't mean that he is saved. It seems this man was full of rage, and while in the Air Force had misused his wife and child, and been disciplined for it.
It’s essential to note that the shooter was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force for assaulting his wife and child, and due to this, it is illegal for him to have a gun.
Huh. What a shock. A criminal who broke the law (by lying on his background check) and got a gun.
Let me just emphasize that the shooter circumvented our existing gun laws and got a gun anyway.
Because people who are going to commit a crime like shooting 46 people do not worry about silly things like lying on a background check.
A good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun.
What the gun-control people are missing is that it was a neighbor with a gun who ended this cowardly attack on unarmed churchgoers. This is the part of the story that gun control advocates don’t want you to hear. It’s the part that they conveniently ignore while screaming that guns are the problem.
If it hadn’t been for two brave men and judicious marksmanship, Kelley’s killing spree could have continued. There could be more dead bodies in Sutherland Springs, Texas this morning.
Because the police didn’t show up until this situation was long over.
