Trump administration officially defines life as beginning at conception

The Trump administration has made a move to officially assert that life begins at conception.

In a step that will please religious conservatives who supported Mr Trump's bid for the presidency, new language was inserted into the Department of Health and Human Services’ 2018-2022 strategic plan. It said that its mission was "serving and protecting Americans at every stage of life, beginning at conception”.

The change in language is accompanied by a section on “designing options responsive to consumer demands while removing barriers for faith-based and other providers”. ...

WND columnist Michael Brown recalled that during the 2016 presidential campaign, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton upset both sides of the abortion debate by declaring “the unborn person does not have constitutional rights” while acknowledging the personhood of the unborn.

Diana Arellano, community engagement manager for Planned Parenthood of Illinois, charged Clinton “stigmatizes abortion.”

“She calls a fetus an ‘unborn child’ and calls for later-term restrictions,” Arellano said.

Guidelines issued by the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Brown pointed out, “discourage the use of terms such as ‘baby,’ ‘dead fetus,’ ‘unborn baby’ and ‘unborn child’ when discussing abortion, instead recommending ’embryo,’ ‘fetus’ and ‘the pregnancy.'”

Pro-life advocates, on the other hand, criticized Clinton for insisting that while a fetus is an unborn child, it doesn’t have any rights.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., a strong pro-life advocate who chairs the Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives, said: “The analytical coldness with which [Clinton] dismissed rights of unborn children reveals a type of hardened core that shocks the conscience.”

Personhood rights for unborn babies targets the foundation of the 1973 Roe v. Wade= abolition - the true Life solution.

This would apply to Jim L., and a few others...

Did not Christ here intimate that something more than clear vision and a kind and steady hand was required if we are to succeed in removing a "mote" from another's eye? As we pointed out at the close of the previous chapter, the one with an injured eye must be agreeable to submit if you are to help him; the one at fault be willing to receive an admonition. But many are not so: so far from it; they will resent your well-meant overtures and revile you for them—treading your admonitions under their feet and venting their fury upon you. "Speak not in the ears of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of thy words" (Prov. 23:9). Thus, having shown how to admonish, the Saviour now makes known who are to be admonished, or rather who are not to be. To reprove a son of Belial is wasted breath (1 Sam. 25:17). "Reprove not a scorner lest he hate thee" (Prov. 9:8). Here, then, is a necessary caution: zeal must be directed by knowledge and holy prudence. Not every person is a fit subject for reproof. Unreasonable men will scoff at the mildest criticism of their evil ways, and to quote Scripture to them only incites them to blasphemy and is casting pearls before swine.- excerpt from A.W. Pink on casting pearls, sermon on the mount

Jim, you know that if we were to hold an official debate, you'd melt into liberal goo (kinda like that goo from the Power Rangers movie, the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger) that's why you prefer a monologue, and your anti Christ personality is showing up again, (exposing antichrists in the church (http/

And your postmodernism tendencies are showing, make sure to take a dose of a biblical worldview 2 times a day, everyday, for the rest of your life. Jim said, " If you want abortion control across the entire country I would suggest you let in all the Mexicans and Islamists into the country"

Such stupidity is horrifying, hopefully it's not contagious, I like what you said, " in forcing your Christian's / Islamic's will on the people." Let's just point out the idiocy of that statement, hone in on the loaded term "force" I guess we shouldn't have "forced" Hitler to stop putting Jews in ovens, I guess we should allow people to do that. Jim your worldview is so twisted and tangled in knots, it's something of a moral relativism meets intolerance and sprinkled with "Jesus" every now and then.

Preamble of the U.S. Constitution re- Posterity:
Regarding the securing of rights to ourselves and our "posterity," this word means both the future generations of all of us collectively, &also the descendants &offspring of each of us as individuals. &since our descendants consist only of one or more individual persons, protection of the rights of our posterity has meaning only if it provides for the protection of the rights of those persons as individuals, including then
of our unborn offspring.

U.S. Constitution, "Corruption of Blood,"& Punishing Children: Regarding abortion ban "exceptions" for rape &incest,

Dt24:16"The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin"

U.S. Constitution recognizes the inherent immorality of punishing a child for the crime of the father. For example, by the invalid legal doctrine of "corruption of blood," the child of a man convicted of an egregious crime could not inherit from a paternal grandfather because the inheritance theoretically passed through the convicted father. So, consistent with Dt24:16
Article III, Sec3 of Constitution prohibits "corruption of blood" laws.

Personhood Abolition solution.

what of the talmud Jim? is that secular? is a Christian still allowed to be Jewish or is antisemitism a curse given only to those who follow Christ?

No, lbug, I just have shown that you can only go so far in forcing your Christian's / Islamic's will on the people. If you want abortion control across the entire country I would suggest you let in all the Mexicans and Islamists into the country. For good or ill not everyone is going to agree with you on abortion, including president Trump who believes abortion is okay in cases of rape and incest. If you don't want abortions in those two groups you had better make sure that the mothers have complete financial assistance in either or adoptive parents standing at the ready. It's a fool's errand otherwise
Dave Hunt wrote:
Why is it that those who are so concerned about the immoral behavior of the godless all around us seem so little concerned about the false gospel of Roman Catholicism which is leading nearly a billion souls to hell, or about the heresy and unbelief within the church? ...

If you want general populace to be interested in God's will you had better evangelize them or give them good secular reasons to be against abortion-- so far you haven't done either. So, Dave Hunt has a better idea.

Jim, your admission that protecting babies is a political position is very revealing. I hope others can see through your claim to dispensationalims. And how can you call a Jewish Christian an anti-semite? is Orwell your brother?

And your response is simply a diversion from the sin of killing babies. You trot the JMac quote out whenever it suits your twisted agenda, not realizing you are guilty of the very thing JMac speaks out against. You swing WAY LEFT on all your dealings, you push what God hates, in this case, killing babies. Then, you use politics and religion to defend your vileness.
You only desire to push a leftist political satanic agenda, then you trot out 'religious' quotes from 'religious' men to justify your sins. You are in dire need of God's mercy, blinded by your vileness, and dead in trespasses and sin. You dance around your sins and divert attention away, but you fool no one....certainly NOT God who sees all. You believe yourself 'saved' because you followed the 'Roman Road'. Your brand of 'religion' is the same as that of John Y. and all who rely upon their 'works' to save them.

Well I'll bother to answer one of your questions, lbig.
It's first things first ✝❗

Romans 8
7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so;
8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.---]]NASB

John MacArthur wrote:
"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith" (Gal. 6:10; cf. Titus 3:1-2). It would also display a lack of gratitude for whatever amount of religious freedom the government allows us to enjoy. Furthermore, such pious apathy toward government and politics would reveal a lack of appreciation for the many appropriate legal remedies believers in democracies have for maintaining or improving the civil order. A certain amount of healthy and balanced concern with current trends in government and the community is acceptable, as long as we realize they were that interest is not vital to our spiritual growth, our righteous testimony, or the advancement of the kingdom of Christ. Above all, the believer's political involvement [ ] should never displace the priority of preaching and teaching the gospel.

Conservatives and liberals have this in common....they BOTH want to 'change' and 'control' the world through their agendas. You desire to push your liberal agenda Jim L. which is Satanic. The conservatives are just like you. The other common factor is this - being dead in trespasses and sin - and using 'religion' and politics as a means to further your agendas. You rage against the conservatives and the Republicans, and they rage against your liberal/Democratic agenda. Our Lord warned that nation will be against nation and kingdom against kingdom. You are proof of prophecy being fulfilled.

May God cause you to cry out for deliverance from your sins, and to be saved from the wrath to come.

Why does a believer care what the world accepts? We follow God's word, regardless of what the world says/does. We are not trying to 'change' the world, we are to warn that murder is a violation of God's law, and all who violate His law will suffer wrath. As Genesis 9:6 states, all who shed blood must suffer the same fate. "“Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.”

As for 'universal health care' some of the brethren here have already rightly pointed out the hideousness of such a plan. Being a liberal, and a minion of Satan, you would not comprehend the evils of such. This is why you must be born again Jim L. May God do a work in your evil, unregenerate heart. Disguising yourself as a sheep when, in fact, your fruit reveals you are a goat, is no light matter.
Trying to divert away from the root issue, murdering babies, won't work. Using the smoke screen of 'rape' and 'incest' won't work either. Nowhere does God say you can kill a child due to the manner of conception.

U need to spend more time reading and pondering God's word, crying out for understanding, and less time reading liberal, Satanic propaganda.

Before you can have a practical pro-life position not just an anti-abortion one, you have to have Universal Health Care. It has been pointed out the American public won't accept a no-abortion policy on the situations of rape and incest. See, ]] (Latest Polls on Abortion--Gallup)

This activism - from harassing women at family-planning clinics to threatening or killing doctors who perform abortion - is seen as contravening the most basic of Jesus' teachings and ethics.

Instead, "new evangelicals" hold that the Christlike relationship to pregnant women is one of service, requiring that evangelicals provide financial, medical, and emotional support for pregnant women pre- and postpartum.

On this view, if one wishes to reduce abortion, one must remove the central financial and emotional reasons to abort.

The general thought process of a pro-choicer: " It isn't a baby until it's delivered".

No matter what a sonogram shows, or now, the incredible 3D imaging and live video we've seen with these little babys smiling and sucking their thumbs, a "fetus" is a mere blob of nothingness. This blob of nothingness can be extracted, dissolved with salt solutions, vacuumed apart, limb by limb, and even delivered and then its little head snipped off, it's spinal column, or even taken to another room and left on a table, all alone, to slowly die. Then, to tip it all off, dissected and sold to the highest bidders for research purposes, or tossed into a furnace.
How barbaric, and sad that mass infanticide is considered a normal part of life and disregarded by so many as no big deal because "it's" only a "fetus" after all.
Then, in a last ditch effort to make it all okay, the medical community actually tries to convince the ignorant, and Probably did just that, that these little babys in the womb feel no pain. This was proven false, but nobody cared.

It matters little what Northern Ireland says about infanticide ---- what does God's word say?"Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man." Genesis 9:6
"These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood" Proverbs 6:16-17

"Less than 1% of all abortions are performed to save the life of the mother. While he was United States Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop stated publicly that in his thirty-eight years as a pediatric surgeon, he was never aware of a single situation in which a freeborn child's life had to be taken in order to save the life of the mother. He said the use of this argument to justify abortion in general was a “smoke screen.” from

BTW,concerning your 'factcheck' website,
It's a liberal, politically motivated site - isn't that shocking?! Keep pushing that Satanic agenda.

The Satanic liberal agenda uses the lie 'life of the mother' as a means to kill babies- when will you repent of your vileness Jim L.? May God have mercy on you and grant you eternal life.

Connor7 what is there to discuss about abortion. I support the Northern Ireland position that the life of the mother does take precedence. See ]] (Why are Northern Ireland's abortion laws different to the rest of the UK?) , a law that the United States would find too restrictive. There are only six countries that don't accept preserving the life of the mother, and they are all Catholic including the Vatican City.

ACOG, [ American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists] Oct. 19: [2012?] Contrary to the inaccurate statements made yesterday by Rep. Unfortunately, pregnancy is not a risk-free life event, particularly for many women with chronic medical conditions. Despite all of our medical advances, more than 600 women die each year from pregnancy and childbirth-related reasons right here in the US. In fact, many more women would die each year if they did not have access to abortion to protect their health or to save their lives.

I see you are still bearing false witness, you do realize that is a sin right Jim?

Here's a quote from you, "This is a very good article; read it" Do you remember the thread?
Yep, the article on repentance that you supposedly read. Yet, you continue to bear false witness and spread lies. If you were born from above by God, you would know how God hates sin, and how He grants repentance to His elect. Since you apparently see no need to repent of your wickedness, it's clear you are void of the Spirit and not been granted repentance by God.

The tares will be among the wheat until the end of the age, which is rapidly approaching. May God's grace to a supernatural work in your heart. Being deceived is a dreadful thing.
