Feedback Friday for 09-22-17

Next month churches around the world will be celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. One of the most famous sayings of Martin Luther was uttered at the Diet of Worms in 1521, “My conscience is held captive by the Word of God. One of Luther’s great passions was to make the Word readily available to people in their own language. Working tirelessly to translate the Bible, Luther published the German New Testament on September 21, 1522. One noted church historian called Luther's translation “the most important and useful work of his whole life. . . .He made the Bible the people's book in church, school, and house.”

People’s consciences cannot be held captive by the Word of God unless they know it—by hearing it or reading it! SermonAudio exists to cover the globe with the proclaimed Word of God. We believe “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” (Isaiah 40:8). We are thankful for our partnership with broadcasters worldwide who are held captive by God’s Word. As we interact with them weekly, they share how SermonAudio has helped their churches fulfill their mission.

But first, some other encouragements!

An exclusive partnership with billboard company GRACE OUTDOOR allows us to offer our broadcasters discounted rates on their digital billboards in the Southeast. It's easier than ever now to get your message to the masses. Check it out!

We continue to receive encouraging feedback from listeners from around the world. Here's that latest that we have enjoyed reading:

“I thank all of you for the wonderful messages of truth you offer on your site to the world. Your messages have enabled me to understand a lot about God and the Bible. The Lord bless you in all you do.” — Grace Mayega, Uganda.

“I just wanted to thank you all for a great website. All the Bible resources, sermons. and everything else I need is right here. I hardly go anywhere else. Hands down you all are the best! Most of all thanks to God for this site.” — David Smith

Encouraging broadcaster feedback..

Below is some of the feedback from broadcasters we've received just this past week. We encourage you to contact them and tell them that you saw them here!

Mitch Lush, Grace Church

"We appreciate the opportunity you give us to upload sermons and to webcast our services. Our people who are sick, shut-in, or away on a Sunday really appreciate this opportunity to connect with us in this way. We also have friends in other states who are able to stay connected with us! Recently I traveled to minister overseas and it was encouraging to meet a believer who came up to me and shared that he had actually listened to series of mine that was helpful to him. We are grateful for all you do and for the assistance you provide us in these ways."

Joe Terrell, Grace Community Church

"We use SermonAudio currently as a means to help people who live a distance away and can’t attend our church but consider us their home church. Your site is very useful and appealing. You have struck a good balance between being attractive and up to date without being cheap. We are going to look for ways to explore using more features on the site especially to reach out to those in our local community with the gospel. Thank you for what you offer on this premier site."

Pastor Troy A. Green, Grace Community Fellowship

"I get feedback via email from all around the world—as far away as Germany and Australia. I am so encouraged that our little church could have have such a wide reach and that through this means I have been able to counsel people on the other side of the world. I don’t know of too many places where you can get all that SermonAudio offers for such a low price."

We would encourage you to read through more testimonials we've received over the years from both listeners and broadcasters alike.

Join us, support us, and enjoy the stories!

John MacArthur said, or, wrote:
The Reformation is not over,...the battle for the Gospel still rages.

The issue of the non-negotiable Gospel wasn't settled 500 years ago, it was settled 2,000 years ago. But we're still calling the professing church to be faithful to the truth,...

The Reformation is not over. Every turn in the road, every new false teacher that arises to teach one version or another of the alternate message must be addressed....

Martin Luther said 'if this doctrine of Sola Fide stands, the Church stands. If this article collapses, the Church collapses,...You think there's harmony between Roman Catholicism and true Gospel evangelical churches and doctrines? None.
