Isis claims responsibility for stabbing rampage in Siberian city of Surgut

Isis has claimed responsibility for a stabbing attack in Russia that injured eight people, the group's Amaq news agency has said.

A man was shot dead by police after knifing people apparently at random in the Siberian city of Surgut on Saturday morning.

Russian authorities earlier declined to comment on whether the incident was being treated as a terrorist attack and were said to be keeping an open mind about the attacker's motive

Nothing but a bunch of cowards. Let's see, how do we peaceful people of a peaceful religion get a world to notice us? We sell, beat, rape, and murder innocent, helpless, unsuspecting, baby's, children, men, and women.
Interesting. Say it was a rogue Christian group commiting these atrocities, worldwide. Would a nation be fighting for the protection of Christians and warning the general public not to speak out against them, or else? Would the general public argue that they're misunderstood and go out of their way to welcome them from all corners of the earth, unvetted? Would they be allowed to take over entire American towns and even impose their own Sharia laws?
No, I think if it were people who called themselves Christians on the very same genocidal, and very public path of destruction, not a single person would be so welcoming and understanding. Seems that anyone can do, say, think, and believe, however they choose just as long as they're not the bible only believing types.

Perhaps they will "Wonder "if there are other Moslems organized somehow -
maybe ask the Imam at the barracks(mosque) if somehow they can find an organizational manual to explain this...
A puzzlement, to be sure.

What difference does it make if ISIS is directly responsible,

Instead of noting a difference which is no difference,
how about noting another way in which the media applies its skew? When a white supremacist drives a car into a crowd,
he's rightly labeled a white supremacist,
thus making connection between his act and the source of his motivation.
When an Islamic supremacist drives a car into a crowd,
he's labeled a terrorist,
thus making distinction between his act and the source of his motivation.
Why do stock politicians and their mainscream media expose one evil, but insulate the other?
because hardly anyone reads the Queeran- & lazy ignorant fools can still confort themselves that "the religion of peace" has been hijacked - soon to bloom with puppy dogs & happy unicorns in sweetness & light mosques.

Insulting the few with skew spew -who know these smarmy liars are covering for killers doing what their terrorist Handbook commands is profitable for paid TelePrompter readers( mostly ignorant Fools who care not a lick for the truth)

Factual Reporting: HIGH

One might wonder how partisan politics could enter enter the article that I reference from NPR - - which is a good article.

Excellent observation Mike; using the liberal left 'NPR' as a reliable news source is not advisable either.....

Isis has claimed responsibility for both vehicle rampages, which also injured more than 100 people.

World news in pictures

Spanish authorities announced they believed the cell behind the twin attacks had been "dismantled".

Meanwhile, police in Finland said a stabbing spree that left two people dead on Friday was being treated as a terror attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the knife rampage.

It is common for Isis to claim it is behind international terror attacks, even if they have been carried out by so-called “lone wolves” with no conclusive links to the group's members in Syria and Iraq

NPR wrote:
It's a simple, frequently recurring phrase: "The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack." But it raises some questions: Is the claim credible or just an empty assertion, and if it's true, what does "responsibility" actually entail?

Experts who closely follow the Islamic State say that in general when it comes to attacks in the West, an ISIS claim of responsibility usually means there was some sort of connection. But the attack might have been planned, funded and directed by ISIS — or it could just have been inspired by the group's propaganda.
