Trump on Charlottesville brawls: 'There is no place for this kind of violence'

A Virginia rally of white nationalists that erupted Saturday in violent clashes with counter-protesters brought a rain of condemnation from public officials, including President Trump who said there is "no place for this kind of violence in America.''

Trump, while vacationing at his New Jersey golf club, addressed the unrest in Charlottesville, Va., where Gov. Terry McAuliffe declared a state of emergency when an alt-right protest of the city's planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee turned unruly.

"We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for,'' Trump tweeted Saturday, as ugly images of street fighting flashed on cable television. "There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Let's come together as one!'' ...

A week before opening fire on Republicans, critically injuring House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, Bernie Sanders-supporter James Hodgkinson had used the vital talisman, calling the GOP “fascist.” So you see, he wasn’t trying to commit mass murder! He was just fighting “Nazis.”

&recall the response of Hillary Clinton to the horrifying murder of five Dallas cops last year. The woman who ran against Trump displayed all the moral blindness currently being slanderously imputed to him.

In an interview on CNN about the slaughter that had taken place roughly 12 hours earlier, Hillary barely paused to acknowledge the five dead officers–much less condemn the shooting–before criticizing police for their “implicit bias” six times in about as many minutes.

What she really wanted to talk about were the two recent police shootings of black men in Baton Rouge and Minneapolis, refusing to contradict Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton’s claim that the Minneapolis shooting was based on racism.

Officers in both cases were later found innocent of any wrongdoing. Either the left has had a really bad streak of luck on their police brutality cases, or bad cops are a lot rarer than they think.

mass murder of 5 not a good time to switch to BLM talking points if violence is equally disparaged.

...even if one conceded Lee’s military prowess, he would still be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans in defense of the South’s authority to own millions of human beings as property because they are black. Lee’s elevation is a key part of a 150-year-old propaganda campaign designed to erase slavery as the cause of the war and whitewash the Confederate cause as a noble one. That ideology is known as the Lost Cause, and as historian David Blight writes, it provided a “foundation on which Southerners built the Jim Crow system.”

White supremacy does not “violate” Lee’s “most fundamental convictions.” White supremacy was one of Lee’s most fundamental convictions....

Lee had beaten or ordered his own slaves to be beaten for the crime of wanting to be free, he fought for the preservation of slavery, his army kidnapped free blacks at gunpoint and made them unfree—but all of this, he insisted, had occurred only because of the great Christian love the South held for blacks....

Note, I put up the comments about Lee from his descendants as a kindness, so they could have a say about him.

Hi Igny, your posts are definitely challenging the presumptions about Lincoln. the bankers seem to have gotten the spoils.

you might even say this:

the American Indian lost the battle with the deep state bankers in the early 1800s, the White Settler lost the battle in the mid 1800s with the Civil War and the black citizen lost the battle at the institution of welfare laws in the 60's.

its not that all lost their lives but came a restricting of land rights and the bringing in of a debt system that was centralized and applied to all through the social security number.

Even recent U.S. history with common lie of "corporate persons"
The idea of deporting the blacks from the country was that of his fellow-fascist friend Henry Clay, upon whose plan, ‘The American System’, or ‘Everyone for Himself at the Expense of his Neighbour!, the Lincoln regime had been built – consolidating massive power in the hands of a small cabal of manufacturers, bankers,& politicians at the expense of the rest of society,& which called for a regiment of high tariffs, federal support for “internal improvements” such as road building & railroads, corporate welfare, &a national banking system based on fiat money. ‘Honest Abe’ eulogized Clay as “the beau ideal of a statesman,” noting that: “During my whole political life, I loved and revered [Clay] as a teacher and leader.”

In fact, despite President Obama’s reverence for Lincoln as the ‘Great Emancipator’, it doesn’t take much research to uncover him as he really was – a political opportunist, a corrupt corporate insider &a lifelong mercantilist.

But 501c3 sellouts take the mark for profit- & will sell RFID chipped traceable "Bible's" to help keep the peace- and recall older versions for new ones replacing the LORD's name with the beast's(revisionist goal).

there's many articles on how the deep state uses social media to us AI technology and paid shills to misdirect conversation and to keep false impressions. in this way the majority can be given the impression that they are all alone, when they are not.

this kind of infiltration has been seen throughout history, in revelations we have the church of Smyrna where it is their own circles "turning them in to authorities" which was the problem at that time....as they were in Jewish circles they had some forms of religious protections.

and this is why the pulpits speak up or get eaten up by spiritual Babylon.

not sure it could even be turned around at this point, that is up to God...but, even those who denied the faith to keep from being thrown to the lions went back to the church fathers in repentance.

Lincoln said:

“But for your race among us there could not be a war, although many men on either side do not care for you one way or another. You and we are different races. We have between us a broader difference than exists between almost any other two races. Even when you cease to be slaves, you are yet far removed from being placed on an equality with the white race. You are cut off from many of the advantages which the other race enjoys. It is better for us both to be separated.”

Not only was Lincoln a racist who supported the noxious pre-Civil War “Black Laws,” which stripped African-Americans of their basic rights in his native Illinois, as well as the Fugitive Slave Act, which compelled the return to their masters of those who had escaped to free soil in the North, he was a white-supremacist whose projected plan for dealing with racial problems was ‘colonization’ – the deportation of all American blacks to Africa, Haiti, or Central America – anywhere but the United States, which would be for whites only. If Lincoln had had his way there would be no black people in America today.
Fair& Balanced would be to renounce Lincoln - and repent of using his name in any other context than Hitler. And NEVER to name oneself after him.
IF one were not hypocritical.

This quotation from a speech he made in Charleston in 1858 shows how he really felt:
“I am not now, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social or political equality of the white and black races. I am not now nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor of intermarriages with white people. There is a physical difference between the white and the black races which will forever forbid the two races living together on social or political equality. There must be a position of superior and inferior, and I am in favor of assigning the superior position to the white man.”
Oh, no wait - that was racist Lincoln.
--
He was not an abolitionist, he denigrated and distanced himself from them. In 1862 in a letter to the New York Tribune Editor he wrote:

“If I could save the union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that. What I do about slavery and the colored race I do because I believe it helps to save the union."

Three days after Charlottesville, Virginia, erupted into violence and racial unrest, the family of Robert E. Lee is denouncing the white nationalist groups who rallied and marched to preserve a statue of the long-dead Civil War general.

"There's no place for that," Robert E. Lee V tells Newsweek, referring to the white supremacist protesters who carried torches and marched through Charlottesville on Friday. "There's no place for that hate."

Lee, a great-great-grandson of the Confederate hero, and his sister, Tracy Lee Crittenberger, issued a written statement on Tuesday condemning the "hateful words and violent actions of white supremacists, the KKK or neo-Nazis."

He is quick to defend his ancestor's name: "Our belief is that General Lee would not tolerate that sort of behavior either. His first thing to do after the Civil War was to bring the Union back together, so we could become a more unified country."

The Lee heir says it would make sense to remove the embattled statue from public display and put it in a museum

Exodus 20:2-5 clearly states who brings us out of bondage. And reverence of any man who has caused the deaths of millions of innocent people by making a statue in their honor shows just how corrupt man is.

This debate about who did what when and for what cause is blasphemous if it does not lead to eternal life.
